I watch some Serie A and from the little I have seen only a JJC would compare Diaby to gems like Pastore,Hernanes e.t.c I'd advice you to watch other leagues and spend less time on Arsenal reserves maybe that would help you sound more current on footballing affairs around Europe
Diaby is barely holding his weight among good players I shudder to think of how he would fare at average teams like Palermo,Lazio,Leverkussen,Napoli e.t.c

Pastore: King of the nutmeg, His team finished 5th last season in the Serie A with him playing a vital part
Hernanes: Serie A team of the year for 3 years straight
Kroos: Leverkussen's best player last season! They also made the Europa's

In technique, Diaby is as good as they come, his decision making is what lets him down, try to distinguish between the two. Its the same as Theo having all the speed in the world but running into dead ends most of the time when he could probably have been tearing Premier league defences apart like Owen back in the days. They are 2 players with some unique abilities but not an overall rounded game that gives them the X factor on a consistent basis, hence why I find both of them frustrating and come down hard on them atimes while secretly praying that they get it all together while playing for us.

Of all those you mention up there, the only ones who are at or higher than Diaby's level right now are Ozil and Hamsik and I would only rate them higher in terms of decision making and offensive impact in a game cos you can depend on them to deliver the final pass and keep the MF ticking. When the others start doing it consistently at the top level then you can start mouthing off about them.

I absolutely love Kroos, followed him since the 2007 U17s and see him as a ready replacement for Ozil with possibly an higher upper limit but he is definitely not at Diaby's level at present, haven't you thought maybe one of the reasons Bayern are not doing well so far this season and why DK can only revel in past glories nowadays is his adjustment to more responsibilities?

A player at almost 25 is struggling with decision making and you feel he is all that. Go and watch peeps like Ozil,Pastore,Hernanes,Hamsik,Kroos if you have watched these guys play (all younger) you would not sit here and tell me Diaby's technique and control is top-notch

Diaby's technical ability is average at best when you consider he is almost 25. Save for his size I really really don't see what that nucca brings to the table at times

Tbh I have been pleasantly suprised by Ozil and if he keeps this up there would be no room for Kaka who IMO is already past his peak and Mourinho as we all know is not sentimental actually no coach would bench Ozil now

The reason I think its Bendtner who will make way is because we will now have too many similar players (not that this has affected chelsea in any way) JET is still around in the big man mold and we've got Chamakh and RVP, I think B52 has the lowest upper limit of all those big men in terms of technique. But yu're right that Vela needs to get his acts together, I just hope he can learn something from that Hernandez boy at Manure on how to be efficient.

Based on Bendtner's performances last season Wenger would be plain retarded to sell him. For all the stick he gets he is still arguably the best young striker in England. I think we should start paying more attention to performance and not technique all the time! Chamakh at 26 is only marginally better and can only get worse Bendtner can only get better. As for JET i am still indifferent on him i admit i ave not seen him enough though it would be tantamount to another bout of time-wasting if a Bendtner that has been groomed for three seasons or so is flogged off just when we are about to see him get to his peak and then we wait another three seasons for JET to bloom and the never-ending cycle continues

Debosky is right jare! We score more than enough goals to get by, our problem is the DEFENCE!!!
