tsdarkside: you as a igbo wan tell me you prefer military rule....?? fighting military rule is what realy united us after the civil war....
but we understand too france must go away from niger republic.... That is where you guys are getting in it completely wrong. Nothing concern Igbo or Nigeria with what is happening in Niger. Nigeria going to war in Niger to please US and France is counter productive. Why did we not invade Maly and Bukina Faso if not wanting military rule is the motive? So the northerners and few sane yorubas that are speaking against the war want military rule also?. Diplomacy is the answer. Even if tinubu goes to war everything will still end on round table. So exploit the round table now. |

he already got himself stopped by the nigerian senate.... dont forget tinubu brought the matter to the senate himself.... traditional leaders in that region say nothing to him either....
tinubu cant do anything against niger republic.... Story. Although you are not supporting the war like your fellow agbadorians, 90% of agbado munchers are shouting war war war for the past week. Anybody that said no to war is ipob and Great Igbo. Now the north is echoing no war all the agbado are recoiling back to their fearful shell or changing mouth. |

Maybe na only South be the real Nigeria. Who knows? Lol I thought only the Igbos are supporting Niger junta according to the agbado munchers. Yoruba propaganda is really failing from all fronts. |

The Nigerian Armed Forces are badly in need of a nuclear bomb! The required needs to be done urgently! The only people with the brain in Nigeria to give Nigerian army nuclear bomb are the igbos. Chew on that. If they celebrate failure then don't fail so that they will not see any failure to celebrate. The did not support tinubu and tinubu is already doomed. |

grandstar: The removal of the subsidy has removed one of the largest sources of corruption and patronage ever. His unification of the exchange rates (though, partially botched by the acting CBN governor) does the same as well.
He wasn't the president that made Nigeria the poverty capital of the world. It was Buhari. It would take time for the regression under Buhari to be addressed but he is on to a good start by ending those 2 subsidies. When Buhari was in office you Yorubas never b3lieved that Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world. You supported him in everything he did(good or bad). You people's hypocrisy is second to none. |

beejay85: Sentiments apart, ECOWAS have a new treaty signed also by Niger Republic to ensure no country is allowed to be distabilised by anti-democractic elements. The standing force ECOMOG was therefore not disbanded and can be used at any time. Should any Soldier in his right senses think he knows better- let him join a political party, contest, win then bring about the change he thinks his society deserve.. Soldiers are to protect not to govern... So whether u like it or not... Niger should be invaded and the Junta made to dance to the song they sing. Peace be unto u Pls I will like to read this treaty. Thanks. |

flokii: FFK should rest and stop misyarning biko..
Isn't he aware that there is an ECOWAS charter binding on all member nations including Nigeria with their mission statement?.. I see nothing wrong in Nigeria leading the force for restoration of democratic order in Niger republic being the power bloc of West Africa, we can't just sit down, fold our arms and watch coups spreading over West African countries to our own detriment.
Like mimded countries are coming together to form blocs e.g BRICS comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China and recently South Africa to chart new course of development for their respective member countries and reduce dependence on the US dollors.
Nigerians like FFK are busy doing oversabi ITK instead of asking pertinent questions as to why West Africa countries aren't progressing. Please can I see the mission statement. |

Now that ECOWAS is trying to reverse an illegitimate take over of power and restore constitutional order in Niger republic, they have all come out to rear their ugly heads in support of the junta in Niger republic. Well, Ecowas have made their decision.and any of them.not okay with it should cross the border into Niger republic to mount road blocks., Yeye! It is not in their place to protest the border closure in SW hence you guys accuse them of burning down SW. Between you guys supported the closure so we should they protest? I never read where minions in nairaland.com complained about boarder closure. |
Politics › Re: Massive Protest In Kano Against Military Intervention In Niger (video) by a4cube: 11:38am On Aug 12, 2023 |
ExudeLoveToAll: I'm forced to believe your narrative a little. Buhari deployed military assets against Yaya Jameh of the Gambia and was very close to full blown war if the military of the Gambia did not capitulate and remove their loyalty from Jameh to Barrow, no one protested in Northern Nigeria.
When the Nigerian state through SAS carried out extra judicial killings nobody came out for protest against these ills that has been antithetical to Nigeria's development. Now their loyalty lies with the Nigeriens instead of Nigeria.
I don't support this war but the way North West and North East behaves when it comes to issues like these is appalling. I'm sure If it was Buhari everywhere will remain silent over there, what a country. Buhari can never start a senseless war in Niger knowing fully well that Niger is his second home. If Buhari want to start such senseless war in Cotonu, the yorubas will definitely protest against it. No need for this war simple. |

Napata77: The 'research' was staring you in the face.
''At a meeting held in the Nigerian capital of Abuja last JUNE, energy ministers from Algeria, Nigeria and Niger AGREED TO ACCELERATE the work on the mooted Trans-Saharan gas pipeline (TSGP), which could carry 30bn cubic metres per year of gas exports from the three countries to Europe.''
OLODO. I will keep on educating you while you insult. Mooted ...yes due to issue between France and Algeria as i stated earlier. That is Trans Sahara. The meeting was to resuscitation the project. WAPCo is different from that. WAPCo is the pipeline referred as Nigeria Morocco pipeline. Again research well. |
