Come man, stating we are in debt does not mean we applaud government waste, you know. But I have not seen you condemn the flamboyancy among the politicians in this period of austerity but you are always quick to support the squeeze on your fellow poor masses. |

MT: A president travelled out all over the world to engage with stakeholders, promote the visibility of the country, convince investors to come in. Yet you call it nothing.
No salary was increased. This has been debunked.
I have always said that NLC should be in the fore front of the fight to reduce cost of governance in this country. Constituency allowance and security vote should go. The culture of going away with Government properties after the end of their terms must be stopped. Their emoluments must be cut down.
Both the citizens and politicians must feel this pain! Did not see any video where he engaged anybody. Pls share with me. Debunked because the masses and opposition shouted. As it is now only the masses are feeling the pain. What about the 25B naira for NASS? You forget to debunk that one? |

Nigeria is broke!
And the Government must do what it needs to free up more money. If this Government goes in the direction of the previous administrations, Nigeria will just implode economically. By increasing their own salary. By going to France to do nothing. By approving 25b for housing for NASS? Is that how to free up money? |

nairalanda1: So, Buhari and tinubu were right in 2012, then?
And I thought you were a GEJ supporter...lol.
On a serious note, GEJ wanted to remove subsides because in 2011, our subsidy cost was thrice what it was in 2010. Anyone could see that if it was allowed to grow, we would end up with the thing eating all our revenues, and loaned money.
It is the same issue now. We have spent three quarters of what we spent last year on subsidy already.....maintain subsidy for six months. That's why Obi, and Atiku and Tinubu all agreed subsidy had to go, as did every other candidate, except for Sowore of the AA.
GEJ also removed subsides on kerosene and diesel. If he had not, and the things had been maintained, we probably would be spending far more than we earned on subsidy alone....and we would be like Sri Lanka by now. With the IMF refusing to fund our addiction.
A revolution does not change the fact. (though it would be good to see apc thrown out) If you assume their were right then, then they are wrong now. |

Never been to Finland before but I've heard stories of how people make money from recycling bottles and here in Nigeria one of the main causes of flood is dumping of refuse anyhow. It should be put into the law, anyone found disposing things in a wrong way should pay big fines or some months in jail plus some social services. Are you the MD of Starich Recycling Tech? 😄😁😄 |

anonymous1759: Sad reality Nigerians always complaining we don’t enjoy anything from the government but it’s all fallacy we’ve been enjoying subsidies for a long while from electricity , PMS, education, health etc . You actually don’t value what you’ve until you loose it . Removing of subsidies in power and education will automatically kill the corruption in the system . I feel sad for those who are yet to get their Bsc’s you’ll enjoy quality education at high price unlike someone of who enjoyed low quality at a lower price you can’t eat your cake an have it .
What BAT is doing is what Nigerian past administration should’ve done long time ago . Next line in action NLC should force the NASS assembly to go under minimum wage by protest . The president doesn’t have the power to reduce their salaries. Minimum wage will surely increase BAT is doing well. Why do need NLC to force them to go under minimum wage. As Bat is cutting everything from the poor let him also cut from the rich. NASS that just got 25b naira for housing whatever. You guys make me laugh sometimes. Brace up man economic tsunami is coming |
