ME: I wrote GRE and TOEFL VO starts typing for a while, I was just praying that I should get white paper. Immediately he returned my I-20 I became excited, he said your passport will be ready for pick up at Isolo in the next few days and keep your I-20 form well. I said thank you and left, I got outside and started reminiscing on how I couldn’t answer his questions to my satisfaction but my visa was still approved. All veneration to God. Verdict: - Read as many transcripts as possible, it was a transcript I read here that made me go through that helpful journal. - Fill your DS 160 form properly and know the details offhand. - Have a profound knowledge of your program and research interest. Appreciation Kudos to every single person that has contributed in one way or the other to this thread, I have been following this thread since page 14 everyday for more than 2 months. I learnt a lot from this platform. Thank you. I wish everyone preparing for interview the best. |
I give all adoration to God. I tapped into your testimony@Tohajan and I was approved this morning. MPH- Georgia Southern University 11k deficit No document was asked. I mumbled a lot as I was asked unexpected questions. I was lucky to have gone through the last paper published by my supervisor. Transcript coming soon |
Toyinmusa:It’s goid news then |
a4pelumi:Well, I hope they are not waiting for my scratch before sending back to WAEC. I’m totally confused. |
I just noticed there’s no need for WAEC Verification of result again. I guess the scratch card has replaced it. My status was updated- WAEC Result accepted + waiting for scratch card and waiting for my University to verify my transcript. Nothing like waiting for WAEC to verify result |
abumeinben:There’s a Nairaland trend for WES evaluation of result. You spend 10k for processing of WAEC result, 8-10k to send and around 2-3k for affidavit. In total, you spend not less than 110k |
romeorailss:I used post office... Buh someone called to confirm... you can use courier also. |
CuteRedd:Did you notice via *postal mail*? |
romeorailss:Bro, I would advise you send scratch card to them. I did mine today, paid #1,600 for postal mail, WES specifically stated postal mail. It takes a long time, so the earlier the better. |
romeorailss:Yes I noticed, have you sent yours? |
ponpon:Same here, please check your email. |
ponpon:You haven’t replied my mail. |
SmartWork:You can make use of Gtbank Naira card. Equivalent is around #366 per dollar as at 2weeks ago. |

I will advice you get UI staff to help you, I’m also processing mine but it’s still at my faculty, sub dean yet to verify it. They attend well to UI staffs. |
Peace505:Thank God. WAEC replied themselves right without any call from you? How long did it take them to reply? Thanks |
Peace505:Do you have the contact of anyone working ther? You can just call to confirm if they have received it. |
Peace505:Has WAEC replied them now? |
Peace505:Can I finish the process in a day, I’m not based in Lag and will need to leave that same day. |
Please what special technique did you use for your verbal section, you had a great score in that section. @jamanuka |
