Politics › Jonathan Not Yet Our Member- Bayelsa APC Chairman by AAA593(op): 1:24pm On May 12, 2022 |
The Bayelsa State chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Dennis Otiotio, has said that the former President, Goodluck Jonathan, is officially not yet a member of the APC in the state. He said this in a telephone chat with The PUNCH on Thursday morning. According to him, Jonathan could only join the APC if he had been formally granted a waiver by the national chairman of the party, Adamu Abdullahi. Otiotio spoke amid speculations that the former president had joined the APC in his Ogbia ward in Bayelsa. He said, “I think the person you people should be asking the question is the national chairman of the party. He should be the one to grant him (Jonathan) waiver. “As of now, he has not officially joined our party. Ask the national chairman if he has granted him a waiver.” The state APC chairman, however, described Jonathan as “a big fish and an elder statesman”. https://punchng.com/just-in-jonathan-not-yet-our-member-says-bayelsa-apc-chairman/ |

Banty doesn't deserve to be in top 3 but votes kept her thus far...But she's still a better singer that Jordan tbh
Jordan was hyped by fans during the theater weeks but man has been disappointing so far, thank goodness he's out now. a well deserved eviction When I talk dem go attack me. I like your third paragraph post on Banty. |

They keep referring to Faith whenever Banty performs. Faith is no longer in the show, so they should allow her to be.
Faith still remain one of the best singers in this competition.
She's got this rich tone and an emotive singer. She connected with each song she was given.
Perfect rendition, the emotions, vocals, diction, control, pitch, the mature riffs and runs that were so perfect. Allow faith to be. Keep voting for your contestant. |

sgtponzihater1: A week that was meant to be dance week, one singer stretched herself and did Finese by Nicky minas, and another went on to choose "koroba" as her song for dance week, so she would not need to stretch herself at all, obviously she deserves the eviction. U fit crown daddy shockey winner of nigerian idol o. The voting pattern should stop already. |
Music/Radio › Re: 2022 Nigerian Idol Season 7 (Official Thread) by AAA593: 6:31am On May 02, 2022 |
sgtponzihater1: Banty sang and rapped a Nicky Minaj song , and another lady choose to sing "koroba" on the same week, which is one of the easiest and safest songs to sing. All she needs to do is sing on a low range koroba chorus and add adlibs to it. Every musician knows Faith was playing very safe. She was even asked if she was on her safe zone the week before.
Watch when the judges and Audience stand up, like the eviction performance of Itohan last night serenading every with "begi begi", or Zadok singing Michael Bolton and Timi Dakolo, those were real show stoppers. Faith never got standing ovation, never deserved it, and is better off at home at this point, with all due respect to her.
The best chaps there are Zadok, Progress and Itohan. Sadly Itohan did a Yemi Alade song last week, which dulled her shine. There are no opportunities for slacking in a competition like this.
Banty is a super star, and Jordans range is out of this world. So both are very welcome to be in the top 4. It's likely either leaves next week, but they've earned their spot.
Chees and all the best. Banty has never made any song her until last night. There's this general assertion from music icons that she's the comfort of this season. The name comfort is referred to a lady whose performances were so poor amongst other contestants but kept getting votes because of her huge fan base all through last season. Simi's comment on Banty last night summarized her journey in the Nigerian idol so far. Simi said she sang her best ever in the competition. Does it mean her worst performances are more than faith's and itohan's in the competition? Nobody is arguing with you about zadok and progress in the competition but I won't be surprised if Nigerians votes Banty as the winner of the competition. We don't vote talents and this the reason we still have buhari as our president. I repeat again, faith is the best female vocalist in this season nigerian idol followed by itohan. You said koroba song was the easiest song that was sang that week. Brother give that song to Banty this Sunday and see her she will sing the song averagely. Banty still in the competition na joke. Make I no talk about Jordan. |

sgtponzihater1: Nigerian idol is lovely to watch
I knew faith will go this week. She has been singing on a safe zone for the past couple of weeks. Surprisingly her performance for today was going to be one of he best
Itohan is amazing, sadly she chose a Yemi Alade song last week that probably did damage to the votes.
The top 4 are well deserved. congrats to them Faith is the best female vocalist of this season. Even her eviction shocked the whole of Africa viewers and not just in Nigeria. Your explanation of Faith must be the most boring joke of the year 2022 so far. For You to say that Faith performance yesterday was her best in the competition showed that you just started watching this season nigerian idol. Even her performance last week was the best among other contestants. There's no week that you won't see faith among top 3/4. You said you knew Faith will go haba. Faith and itohan should be there and not Banty and Jordan. The voice and other talents hunt TV programmes won't allow this nonsense. How can you say the lady with the most electrifying voice has been singing on a safe zone for weeks?. This joke no be joke o. I sing koroba and watch it over again, again and again, faith, you are a star Keep shining. Your Sweet voice is already on the airwaves. I look forward to hearing your sweet voice. Voting should stop immediately. |
