Its well dear. I was taught during antenatal to apply chloedixine gel once daily from the time of birth till it drops and it worked like a magic dear. My baby's fell on the 5th day and that was the end of it. The gel is about# 300 . MIL didn't mean to harm her grand daughter but it's important you let her know you are worried and stick to what you were told to apply and not what she wants or feels should be used.
