I just hate free verse. They seem too easy. I've thrown away many of my poems cos they were free verses. maybe I just like the challenge and fascination of having to explore and experiment with rhymes and rhyme schemes |

Icon79: Yeah, Ordega is OK. And Oshoala ain't bad either, but the only true beauty in the current Falcon team is Courtney Dike. Unfortunately, they decided not to invite her this time around. its simply because we dont see sports as fashionable in Africa. its not only soccer players, even other sports. we place too much emphasis on women's looks in this part of the world, and we assign them societal roles based on that. for example, if a Nigerian comes across a good-looking female mechanic, his reaction will most likely be, ''eiyaa, this fine girl''. we'd rather support our goodlooking females in modelling, acting, and music than sports. that leaves a pool of the not-so-attractive ones, who have little chance with showbiz, in the sports department |

3. DRILL THEM ON PASSES. We saw with the Falcons, too many times than we'd like to see, over-hit and inaccurate passes. the need to work on that. 4. AVOID CONCEDING FREEKICKS NEAR THE BOX. This is very important as S.A player Van Wyk, though a defender is very good with set pieces. If the Falcons train with all these in mind, the victory is sure. wishing the the best |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Vs South Africa: AWCON 2016, Semi Finals. 1 - 0 (Full Time) by aadvark: 9:03am On Nov 28, 2016 |
For everyone saying we're going to demolish South Africa, well, that is my wish too. but they are not pushovers at all. They are excellent with positional awareness and can easily catch u on the break. BUT HERE'S HOW TO BEAT THEM. 1. START STRONG. The Falcons coach has been suspect with her starting lineup and if we must beat S.A, we must use the best. Oparanozie has no business on the bench and should start ahead of Sunday. Okobi should also start ahead of Igbinovia. i'll love to se Oshoala and Ordega swapping wings with Oparanozie up top in a 'triple O' attack. 2.DRILL THE DEFENSE ON ORGANISATION. many times our defense line went to sleep in our previous games but the opposition attack wasnt just good enough to punish us. thats a luxury we may not enjoy with S.A |

pimplucious: The white guy in this contest thought because he has a larger network on Facebook than our naija brother the naija guy would be a work over.
However he was surprised when he saw our brother leading him with a very wide margin as such he went ahead to report him for cheating while he's the one actually doing the cheating as can been seen from comments made by his friend
Vote for ur fellow naija man in this link and put that punk to shame

kilo4sure: The competition began properly in 1998, where it was hosted by Nigeria. The previous editions were majorly world cup qualifiers played on home and away format. then this should be our 10th attempt not the 12th. he made it seem like we failed to win on 4 occasions |

@robosky02, the info you supplied says we've won the competion 7 times, but i think we've won 9. we are gunning for the 10th trophy in 12 attempts. the other two were won by Equatorial Guinea |

But finally, these draws no dey favour us, won't be surprised to see Argentina in our group if they qualify lol, Dele no kuku grow 4 naija so e no strong like Etebo. But seriously, the way FIFA is bent on marrying us with Argentina at every world cup, i too wont be surprised to find them in our group even if they don't qualify, lol. 2002, 2010, 2014, three consecutive world cups, Argentina just dey follow us upandan.
