December 11 was strictly a denial and an AP day. Aanexplus and others can relate. When I almost heard your visa has been... The VO said I'll have to place a check on your documents and get back to you in few days. Mehn! I check my status every 2hrs, AP may appear worse than outright denial because you're practically stuck until they respond. He collected every damn document (Certificate, Transcripts, Professional Licence, GRE, TOEFL SCORES, Account statements...)

Interview at window 7
Me: Good morning, how was your weekend
Vo: Good morning, pass me your documents

Vo: Tell me about the program
Me: I'm going to WCU to pursue my masters degree in public health, it's a 2yr and 45unit course, I'll offering 24units of core courses and 21units in my major, some of the courses include Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Transcultural health, Behavioral health.... After the program, I would come back to Nigeria to establish my community pharmacy and partner with NGOs or Federal ministry of health.
Vo: I don't see any relationship between this degree and coming to establish a community pharmacy.
Me: no, this degree focuses on preventing diseases, promoting health and prolonging life. These are what I do on a daily basis at a community pharmacy
Vo: Nodded, okay...started checking my job description on DS160. Tell me your duties at your place of work
Me: I manage and oversee the smooth running of the pharmacy, I'm involved in procurement and inventory management of medications, I counsel clients on the appropriate use of medications.
Vo: did you take GRE, tell me the breakdown
Me: I did.
Vo: Tell me the prescriptions you fill
Me: I wasn't expecting that, I told him I fill prescriptions for OTC (over-the-counter) drugs such as aspirin, paracetamol, POM(prescription only medicines) antibiotics, opioids...cuts in
Vo: who's paying for your trip
Me: my dad and uncle
Vo: what do they do
Me: told him
Vo: do you have their account statements
Me: yes
Vo: lemme have them, give me GRE results. What other documents do you have?
That's how I gave everything
Vo: gave me white paper and said he'll be placing a check on them.
People were congratulating me and asking me to 'wash' it for them.. They always think once you are not with you passport, you've gotten your visa. I couldn't wash my AP then but now I can.

ME: I am going to VTech to study construction management with research concentration on Intelligence Infrastructure
VO: wow you are going to VTech
ME: yea... He started being lenient and answered most of the questions himself
VO: i can see you study civil and you are going for construction management.
Me: yea
VO: what have you been doing since grad?
ME: told him
VO:why did you change your course?
ME: I discussed with Dr Wollmann about my research interests, she advised me to contact MLSoC because they are domiciled.
VO: oh ok
VO: will you come back to Nigeria
Me: Yes, I will come to pick up a job in Osun State University.
Vo: you want to be a teacher?
me: I want to be a lecturer oga cheesy
VO: SO you will be a Dr.
Me: yez, i will go for PhD so I can be a good lecturer
VO: how did you hear about the school
Me: I heard from Dr Olusegun who is an alumni of the school. I researched dere website and I saw they are the 3rd best in construction management... VO glanced at me at the mention of 3rd best
Vo: who will sponsor you
Me:my dad will sponsor me.
vo: what does he do?
me: he is into real estate and a pastor at All souls Anglican Church.
Vo: did you have his soa?
me: yes
Vo: did you take any standardised test?
me: yes, gre and toefl. I told him my score
I asked him if he still needs the statement. He collected my statement, test score and transcripts. He further asked if I asked any other doc which can support my profile. I gave him my admission letter.

I sha see white paper but baba put me on AP.

After Series of prayer and divine intervention, I was issued on Tuesday 19th Dec. I want to affirm that God plays a larger part in this visa stuff (people like Zainab, Lucy, pepe, adewole, temtop will understand). Shout out to my NL friends who stood by be during this time, AP is worse than refusal trust me. I wish all the hopeful success. See you soon Temtop, mama, zainab and adewole etc. One Love guys! grin

I went for VISA on 11th Dec. I was placed on Administrative Processing (White Paper) and my passport was collected. My question is this: Can I update one of the file I submitted during the interview? If yes, How can I go about this?

The best course of action is to have your school update your electronic I-20 record. We have access to that in our systems and can verify the funding this way.

I have an admission in USA and I was issued funding when I transferred to my new dept, due to fact that my first dept didn't give me funding and time is not on my side, the funding didn't show on my I20.
The dept already promised to send a letter to back it up at the embassy, can I use this letter at the embassy?

In short, my advice if you intend to write GRE...Take time to practice, practice and practice (say two months). Gonna rewrite later, buh definitely not now.

Dunno why you want to rewrite. I also got 306 and 92 in toefl. I tried some schools and all of them gave me admission. Funny enough, our profile is almost similar as I will start Construction management this spring... Best of luck man

I've experienced that. I found that the guy uses a satellite phone. Before you got the call, it would have been routed. This happens majorly with satellite phones. No big deal...

I use toefl. But my school provided a letter to poznan uni... I just feel toefl is better

Send your transcript to them. It has the grading.

I uploaded student copy which doesn't have the grading scale. I guess that's where the problem started. I have requested for grading scale from the school

I recently applied to Poznan Uni of Tech. I got a message this morning which I quote "Please, upload grading scale which applies to your transcript of records.We require some document that will explain how grades are distributed." Is there any way I can tackle this issue?
