I learnt from a "Mummy" movie that the bigger they are, the less potent their sting.

But I saw a small scorpion sting my Uncle once, but nothing happened. So..I dunno. I am too lazy now to check Google.

Scorpions are not venomous. They inflict pain but nothing more than that...

Yes they do. But na Africans over there.

At a time in London I worked as a porter at the Royal National Orthopedic hospital.

One day, me n this Ghanian guy were asked to drop off a decapitated limb at the hospital's mortuary.

When we got there, the guy knocked like three times, and I was like "ok, there is a guy inside ehn?"

But I was surprised to see him bring out the key n say its good to knock to let the spirits know we are visiting.

Immediately cold catch me Lol.

you are very correct..but it might be possible sha. You know those morgue workers are spiritualist , and some are deep in occultic. It is not a faint heart job. So their experiences might be real.

Well, that's a valid point. I strongly believe that the spiritual world exist because I know what I see. However, many people don dey use maggi too much for dere story smiley

That abroad own worst bro. So many ghosts being captured on the camera and it was real. Even at times some news outlets pick them up.

God is my witness, when my dad died I was twenty years old then. His ghost came to where I was sleeping in the boys quarters of our building a little far from main building. That was 90s. He tapped me and called me by my first name and said wo, moti lo oo..
.
Meaning I have gone ooo. Do this, that.. Giving me instructions in my sleep. That was around 1.15am, I just woke up. I hardly off light in my room but that day I off the light and I didn't know why.

Everything was so clear and audible. Immediately after that events, I woke up, after 5 mins while still thinking what kind of dream is this, my mum came to knock that my dad is not breathing again. Same thing happened to some of my brothers and sisters else where that night..

And that was it.There are spiritual forces that is beyond human understandin.

That's about ghost. I could have swear I saw my great grandma ghost before she died in the 90s. I told my parents and mama died few weeks after. But then what we are discussing here is about dead bodies moving and stuffs. I haven't heard any of my friends here knock before they enter the morgue. Probably Naija dead body get level pass. Abi?

Celebrities / Re: Jaywon Shades Zlatan For Copying His 'this Year' Song, Zlatan replies by aanexplus(m): 12:14am On Jun 12, 2019
MANNABBQGRILLS:
Jaywon's THIS YEAR is a Classic song anytime.
But in music, copying is allowed to some extent (there is a duration of time you are allowed to use other musicians song in your song, that is how it is in music law).
It is done abroad also.

We still remembered how most of our now BIGGEST stars used other musician song to jump start their career before they started doing their own song......

From Plantation Boys, Remedies, Psquare, Wizkid, Banky W, (not so sure about Dbanj) and who will ever know most (not all) of the classic songs our darling Asa gave us those years were mostly foreign songs of other genres that she just copied and twisted to add her own lyrics (we were shocked the night a presenter on radio played like 4 of her hits side by side with the original version of other musician songs 15 years earlier!)

And many other musicians that we can't remember right now also did that.
Tiwa Savage and this guy that sang (Oju ti tiwon) case is still in court presently also.

We did not keep any record of it,
since we don't need it for anything.
And that was like 4 to 5 years ago anyways.
We just remembered it when we saw this thread.
Some were even in Spanish languages but same tune, beats and instrumentals.

She will always remain a good musician to us tho.
Respect to her other good songs.
We can't take that from her.

You are right about Asa songs. I remember one of the song is of Caribbean origin

You should have quoted me with your reply. Anyway it's a good program. The only issue is that you need to identify a faculty member who is willing to work with you. If you have that already it's as good as having the admission. Cheers
