It is of an utmost truth that life is filled with ups and downs. Things do not work out the way we've envisioned them and when this happens, we tend to get saddened, wearied, worried, and depresses. We most times think that's the end of our world. The flash news is that NO! That's not the end because you have greatness within you. You are created for success and engineered for accomplishments therefore, your life's journey continues irrespective of the challenges you are going through now.
There are many storms that you might probably go through in life. Those storms however are not to get you killed neither to make you a failure but to build you up, mold you, make you strong and utmostly make you a victor. A gold in a raw form cannot be valued until it pass through accustomed fire. A meal is not yet meal until it has gone through some processes. You are not a man until you face storms of life. Jesus Christ wouldn't have been dignified if he hadn't gone through the storm of the cross and suffering. Nelson Mandela might not have been honoured and dignified if he hadn't gone through the storm of bondage. Fruits and various plantations wouldn't have been so valued for food if they hadn't gone through the scorching sun or the beaten rain and a turbulent wind and weather. Your glory is in the process. Do not despise the process. They are necessary places for your divine accomplishments.
You might apparently find it hard to stand tall probably because you think your storm is very turbulent. If so, remember these truths...

1. Know that God is working on your case.

2. Understand that everything is working out for your good.


3. Know that the best is at hand.

4. Understand that where you are today isn't the end.

5. Know that you are in a process.

6. Understand that where you are today is a necessary place you need to be.

7. Know that you'll not die but will only get stronger.


Afterthought
God is not saying that he will halt your storm. God didn't halt Joseph's storm but the grace to conquer and stand tall in it was given to him. Apostle Paul was given a thorn in the flesh. He prayed thrice about it but God had to tell him that "his grace is sufficient for him and His Power is made perfect in weaknesses". I do not know what your storm is or are. I have mine so do you but irrespective of the storm, learn to stand tall in order to be victorious at the end. God bless you.

Oh. It's the last day of 2016 !!! I want to congratulate you for a successful voyage. I hope you had a great one like I did. Many great things happened this year as much as the bad ones but irrespective of the things that 
happened, you are still here reading my post. Thank God for that!!!
  I was thinking of what to put here on the blog since it has been a while here due to better planning and upgrade for 2017, and I remembered an article I wrote in 2014 about 2015... Oh, what an incredible article. I was inspired to share it with you here today so as to have a better year ahead.
  I shared twelve tips in the article that can guarantee your success in the coming year and I hope you will find it loving. Also, you can add yours to the list in the comment box so as to impact more into one another's life. The following are the tips I compiled back then in 2014 but here is an upgraded version...

1. God First

Everything in this world rises and fall on God. He is the alpha and the omega. The first and the last. I think it wouldn't be awesome if he is not in the picture. He has the ability to make things possible. Put God first in whatever you do. Learn from Him, abide with His words and He is ready to direct your path.

2. Make Plans and Set Goals.

It is never too late to set your goals today. If you haven't had a plan for 2017, endeavor to set them today. Have plans for your spirituality, career, relationships, finance, social life, among others. It is often said that he who fail to plan is planning to fail. Do not be amidst the failures in 2017.

3. Determination.

Irrespective of your plans and goals for 2017, if you are not determined to make them possible, you are going nowhere. Have a determined heart framed of success.

4. Act.

You can be determined to win but if you do not act on your determination, you are going nowhere. Act, and I say Act!!!

5. Be disciplined.

If you have your goals written out, that's awesome but the best way to achieve it is to discipline yourself to it. You'll have distractions but only your discipline will get you going.

6. Character.

Your success is tied to the character you have. If you have a good one, you'll experience success in a good way. Have the right character and attitude in 2016.

7. Get the right people on your team.

If you do not have the right people on your team, failure is inevitable. The best part of it is that your eagle must constantly keep company with fellow eagles. Never think of working out with a chicken unless you are teaching it how to become an eagle. At the same time, be cautious so that it will not pull you down!!!

8. Live well, stay healthy.

You are a spirit. The only license you have for being alive is your body. If it fails you, you are gone because the spirit cannot operate here in our world. Treat yourself right. Eat the right food.

9. Develop your mind.

Read! Read!! Read!!!. Listen! Listen!! Listen!!! Read books and listen to tapes. Attend seminars, workshops and conferences.

10. Learn a skill and update yourself.

It is essential to do this. This is information age and the world is moving as fast as possible. Get updated and also learn a skill.

11. Bless lives and inspire people.

You have not yet lived a fulfilled life until you bless someone next to you. Be a blessing to your world!!!

12. Do these things and other things you can think of to have a successful year.

3. Focus

To make life worthwhile, you need to be focused in your dealings. Focus directs talents. It will direct your path so as to know where to get your attention and where not to. Don't be distracted on your way to destiny.

4. Preparation

In making full use of your potential, you need to prepare towards the good, the bad, and the ugly side of life. Preparation in every sphere of life will be necessary and this will help you unleash your potential. Do not let your preparation be 0% while your passion and other tools be 100%. You really need to be prepared.

5. Practice

As a writer and speaker, practice has become core part of my life. It is a daily enlightenment for me. I practice my speaking skills daily wherever I find myself even while going on the road. Though, I do it internally. Practice must be core part of your life in as much you want to unleash your potential. You do not know when your next assignment is coming, wisdom demands that you are set for it. Practice sharpens your potential.


6. Perseverance 

It is never an easy task to utilize your potential into the fullest. It is not an easy task or mission. Things might go wrong sometimes and your years old dream might die but as a person of ultimate potential which has been consumed with passion, you must not be afraid to dream again. Hold on to your potential, dreams, visions and it will always pay off. Persevere irrespective of what the time might be and what you are going through and do not let your dream die.

Afterthoughts

Your potential must be fully utilized and for you to be on top of your game, you need to be up and doing. Do not relent in being your best.

This piece is in relation to the nation's economical challenges..
In a time like this, it is understandable that things are not going the way they should. Our nations of the world as they were today are not what they used to be and what we envisioned them to be. Challenges keep springing up, fresh problems keep generating after old ones have died down and we all seem to have lost our faithful hope.
In a time like this, things are virtually hard for almost every citizen of the nation. For some, a meal is a burden let alone three square meals and all these things actually discourage and derail one's morale to achieve massive feats in destiny. As it were today, every sector of the nation is having its own terrible and complicated issues, the economy is nothing to write home about and life generally seems to be difficult and look as if the tunnel is never going to end let alone seeing the sun at the end of it.
Most times or let me say all the time that we reflect back on the current issues and complications of the nation's economy and scope of running the system, we tend to feel bogged down and feel depressed but the good news I have for you today is that you need not to feel bad about what are not working out yet, all you need to do is just to appreciate the gift of life and have a heart of gratitude because most people that are dead do not have the opportunity to witness what is going on and that is actually a thing to rejoice upon because you are still alive, here reading this article.
Let me leave you with things that we really need to understand irrespective of what the situation might be like.....
1. Your values and destiny is not determined by any nation's economy.

2. No matter how bad it seems or how bad it gets, you are going to make it.

3. You need not to feel depressed, sad and wearied because God is working things out in your favour.

4. Stop the complaints about everything. Rather, do something to improve your value.

5. Have a positive mindset about everything and believe that all will be okay sooner than expected.

6. Do not think of taking shortcuts that are not in God's plan for you else, you will have to pay for the consequences.

7. Always remember that God is on your side.

The list is endless but to save the page for another. I believe you are destined for greatness and success is surely yours. God bless you.

This is great. I am very sure that when he is grown, he wouldn't have much problem and wouldn't feel inferior.
Lesson: Disability is not what we see on the outside. It is inbuilt. If the inner disability can be conquered, then the outer one will be free to bow down.
