What rank are medical doctors placed on after passing out from training.

My reason is that NCS is an agency captured in the constitution unlike efcc that’s basically an act of the national assembly

The Gideon Orkar coup was majorly orchestrated by officers of Middle- Belt.
The major reason why it failed was the coup planners sought to divide Nigeria by cutting off Northern Nigeria from the rest of the Country.
Why some top ranking officers in the Military were adversed to the corrupt style of the Babangida Administration and would have supported the Orkar coup, but when the clear intent of the coup began to emerge, they backed out especially the christian officers from Plateau and Kaduna who were not liking the idea of being cut off to remain attached to the North.

Till date, the unity of Nigeria is a political game amongst the military officer in North especially the Christian officers from Plateau, Niger and Nasarawa and Kaduna states.
It is not that the Military officer from Northern Nigeria are so muchinterested in the unity of Nigeria, but for them Nigeria must remain United so they would not be left at the mercy of Northern Muslims.

because even if they have succeeded in carrying out the coup, Kaduna and plateau would have still been in Nigeria
The five major states to be removed from Nigeria were Kani, katsina, Sokoto, Borno and Bauchi

Go for Air Force as first choice while Army shoukf be last option. You'll get all your entitlements in Air Force but the corruption in Army can make someone lose his mind. Air Force even though I'm in the Army

Just like the First person said, Navy is good but I'll advise you to join Air force which I feel it's more suitable. Army is also a good choice because they pay Medical personnel Scheme (MSS) from WHO and your starting salary with MSS in the army as Lieutenant is around 280-320k. My advise is you should sit down and think of the armed forces you like and make a good decision. Thanks

Bro no more MSS allowance in Air force. It is now Medical scarce allowance , which is 49500 that cuts across all medical field in airforce plus ippis which is about 262,000 naira first year in the service as a doctor. Its not dat juicy in the airforce for doctors.In the other hand the people benefiting more in the medical field in air force are the allied health professional . Like there is no difference in Salary between a nurse , med lab scientists ,medical records and a Medical doctor

please, what does MSS allowance mean?
And how long does it take for a medical doctor to be promoted from sublieutenant to lieutenant in the Navy OR flying officer to flight lieutenant in the air Force OR lieutenant to captain in the army

I'll advise you join the Navy, my dad is a retired Navy Surgeon Commodore, and I can tell he enjoyed a lot of benefits compared to his peers in the Army, I don't know about Air force welfare
