Na I live in port Harcourt.Not as lively as Lagos but still a big player.And yes Lagos is relatively safe.Most of the street robbers in port Harcourt at least are unarmed with a knife or empty gun at most.All you need is a badass dog (hence the huge dogs)and you can walk anywhere.People won't even speak to you.And burglars would be nonexistent.It's probably the same in Lagos. With all nightlife you'd have to be isolated before you got robbed.Occasionally there are the serious thieves but not that common.The major discomfort is all the gangs.But you'd have to be a gangster to be actually worried.

What's your deal with big dogs?
Muscular dogs tend to be very aggressive. Sometimes they even attack their owners. I don't want a dog that's scary.

Actually big dogs are even more loyal than small dogs.They have that inbuilt 'bodyguard' trait which makes them very protective.And they only attack their owners if he/she was being a bitch to them.Take good care of them and they'll protect you till death.They also tend to challenge/rough-house with their owners from time to time but it's mostly just intimidation and humping.They won't actually fight you.(my dog does this a lot)

My 1st pet ever, in childhood, was a German Shepherd. A chubby, 2 week old furball I raised it all by myself because my mother threatened to give it away if I wasn't responsible for its upkeep. I bottle-fed her & even scooped up poop in desperation Well, it was hard work playing mummy to a dog but it paid off I had her until I was 15 because I moved away. Each time I visited home during school holidays, I was surprised to realize the dog still remembered me. It'd follow me everywhere, even to BFs houses

Dogs are that loyal(btw I despise you for hating muscular dogs) my first dog was a Caucasian mix.But mostly Caucasian shepherd.Although I would love to have a muscular dog but not pitbulls.Pitbulls aren't just big enough for me.I prefer boerbels and Neapolitan mastiffs.Caucasian,Tibetan mastiff,Boerbel and Neapolitan mastiff.My dream dogs!

I don't like hailstorms lol. Last time one happened, last year, it ruined my day. I was pissed! Imagine I had just done my laundry & even washed a couple of blankets for good measure. Next thing, it just started raining out of nowhere. Huge balls of ice. It rained hard for about an hour. By the time it was done, everything was on the floor, covered it dirt. I won't lie, I shed a tear because I was just beside myself with anger & frustration. Had to throw away one blanket because the shit on it wouldn't come out.

I hate hailstorms
last time I experienced one I got smacked in the face by a sheet of ice and water (I don't know why I thought looking in the sky was a good idea) Ice got into everything.It felt bad.Then it melted and i got drenched.One of my worst rainy days ever.Felt like a melting snowman.Wonder how the Egyptians felt when they got the hail plague.
