Hello Guys.. i ise a 07 lexus is250 with 98k miles pls I have an issue with my transmission ... anytime I put my gear in reverse it idles and picks very slowly and cannot reverse uphill ..took it to a mechanic and he faulted the transmission and advised for me to change the gear and also told me that if I change the gear oil it might fix the issue or make the problem worse... am in a dilemma .. your contributions and advice would be appreciated

Hi everyone, my Lexus ES330 2004 would start well at the first start if probably it was parked for like 2 weeks, while it worked for barely 6 minutes it went off. So it doesn’t turn over again while I tried to start it the second time until I step on the gas pedal. I suspected the 3minute security which I removed, but I still experience the same issue.

Hello everyone and good evening

I just got an 07 es 350 few weeks ago and I have just one issue. The radiator fan comes on and runs at full speed when the engine is switched ON, even when it's super cold in the morning. By my understanding, the cooling fan should only come on when the engine is getting to a certain temperature

My mechanic told me they've removed the thermostat because of the Nigerian weather (normal BS) . I find that hard to believe because oyibo wey do car must have factored all these into consideration when building the car

Now the fans noise seems kind of annoying as it runs at full speed.. Most es350 I know are very quiet when idle

I would really appreciate any input

I am reaching out regarding some concerning issues I've been experiencing with my car recently. I believe there may be multiple underlying problems contributing to its current state, and I would greatly appreciate your expertise in diagnosing and addressing these issues.
With what you have just explain now you will need to replace the top cylinder and resurface the block engine.
But still need to have the block engine inspected for cracks but best to do is replace the top cylinder the issue will stop.

Here are the symptoms I've observed:

Reduced Coolant: The coolant seems to be drying off as I constantly need to refill and there is no visible leak

White Smoke: White smoke comes out of the exhaust

After driving for some time, the coolant in the reservoir tank starts to 'boil' and pour out, I am aware that is due to air entering the coolant

I bringing this here because the first mechanic I called adviced to change the Engine Gasket which required me to re-surface the engine, the Gasket was changed but the issue still persists

The second mechanic I got was quoting 300,000 for me (almost the cost of a new engine)

Given these symptoms, I understand that pinpointing the exact cause of the issues may require a comprehensive inspection and diagnostic process. However, can someone here point me in the right direction on where I need to focus on?

Please I need your advice and expertise on a particular issue with my toyota venza 2010 4 plug engine.

I noticed lately that whenever I accelerate, and the car is about to change gear, it usually decelerate itself while my leg is still on the turtle and will move again by itself (like the fuel in the car is about to finish)

We scanned it already and there is no error and i serviced the gear in a october last year to be precise. It just started this issue and my mechanic already changed the coil and clean the fuel pump but the issue still persist.


Now another mechanic I was referred to said he will have to tap the gear or service it again. Don't really know what to do and confused.

Will need the gurus to help on this and how to fix it

Hello,
Please my Rav4 engine goes off when I'm not accelerating or in park. I would have to turn it off completely and start it again to get it moving. The mechanic said it was fuel pump and changed the pump and filter and the problem stopped for like a week but it has now started again.
He scanned it and nothing was detected.
What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

Please what can cause some AC vent to be blowing very cold air while others will just be normal air?
I noticed that the driver side vent is just ordinary then after a long drive or very cold weather it will then be cold but the other vents are constantly chilling

Good morning, I just got a toyota camry 2007, I realized when ever I drive fast then slow down to gear 1, once I want to drive fast again, the car jack or act like the car wants to come to a stop then it takes off again, this only happened when ever I am on gear 1, the gear 2, 3, 4 and rest works fine, but I'm having issues with the gear one, please what could be the reason?

I bought lexus es 350 2007 Nigerian used last year. Everything was normal until last week when I noticed gear flare. When I first move the care it will be happening but if I stop and move again it won't happen anymore.
