While I respect the personalty, acumen and wealth of experience of Mrs Okonjo-Iweala, I believe Nigeria should have more and better of her breed around us and she herself should be able to replicate herself into others.
Otherwise, when will the youths of Nigeria ever take charge of the country if we keep recycling same hands?! |

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Vs Manchester City (1 - 2) On 10th September 2016 by Abbeyme: 1:31pm On Sep 10, 2016 |
herzern: What a mad first half that was. City were dominant for 41 minutes and seemingly in cruise control through goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Kelechi Iheanacho. However, a costly error from Claudio Bravo allowed the home side to get back into the game as Zlatan Ibrahimovic powered a volley into the net. The panic set in for the visitors, who almost conceded an equaliser late on, but United couldn't capitalise again.
Tnx for the summary, dude |
Politics › Re: Buhari To Travel To New York On Tuesday For 71st UN General Assembly by Abbeyme: 7:58am On Sep 10, 2016 |
blueto: Another chance for fruitless tourisms.
I hope he won't go there to release another inane, libelous and unpleasant statements about Nigeria and the economy?
His unguarded and detractive utterances abroad have deterred foreign investors from investing and pulling out of the economy. they now see the Nigerian economy as precarious for business activities, of which is one of the major causes of recession.
Tagging Nigerians as criminals and fantastically corrupt is only ominous to the socio-economic wellbeing of the nation. Give examples of such and at which UN General Assembly. I prefer constructive and substantial criticism. |
