I am not certain about your NOC, but I think it falls within the category from people's comment here. Confirm in the link below and look out for gurus' response also. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp431 is quite close to recent trends and we do hope the cutoff drop more in future draws, score was around 413, 423 etc months back so you are on track @cochthrane and others can weigh in now...over to the boss Alwaysblessed: Thank you for your response. I did the calculation and it's 431,is the score okay for pool without PNP. Secondly how do I know where my work experience enter? Am a customer service in a bank. Have you both done your ECA? Next step is to dive into the pool if you have. You shouldn't need provincial nomination if you are the principal applicant, that is cos of your age and provided your work experience is not in NOC C. You can determine your CRS here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp Alwaysblessed: Hi Family, Here is my profile. Age 29 Bsc Test result 8777 Work exp 3yrs
Hubby 37 Bsc Work exp 10yrs Test 8777
Please gurus in the house help me to calculate it. Do we have to apply for province nomination What is the next step |

Yes, you can use as POF, even though it is 4months old. Get reference letter from your bank to use alongside your 6months SOA. There has been varying opinion on the thread about writing LOE for funds from an accompanying spouse or not, I would say you should do whatever makes you sleep well at night. Depends on you and how you view your account activity, does it feel save or it looks suspicious to you and/or a 2nd eye. Goodluck rukayatd: Good evening all, I have been building my account. For just 4months ,although most of money comes from my husband.can I use it as proof of fund though it's not six months ,also I didn't get an average balance of 6months from the bank, just my opening balance, total credit, total debit and current balance |

Report technical problem and more importantly put a call through to CIC, it is too long a time and you should be worried. No, It is not because you submitted a day before, as long as you were still within your 90days limit when you submitted. I don't have the number to call @40manlappy or anyone else could be of help. Also @dtush had similar problem in the past, you can seek guidance from him/her. All the best. bolabae: Yeah......i meant nothing like Confirmation of online application transmission or acknowledgement of receipt. Or is it because I submitted a day before the deadline. I am Just so worried |

Do you mean you don't have anything like "confirmation of online application transmission" or "acknowledgement of receipt" in your CIC account? Or you have that but no further update afterwards? I hope it is number 2, then you have no cause to worry. Medical passed will come bolabae: Hello everyone, I am a bit worried........ I submitted my documents a day before the deadline which was 29th of August. No mail from CIC yet abt documents received or verification started. And I have seen people that submitted same August and also passed medical in the same month. Is it normal or I am just worried. |

Don't think there is any harm in you raising a CSE to provide additional/new information rather than wait for ADR. Peaceful2016: Happy Sunday fam. I have a question, I renewed my passport cos the one I submitted with my application on August 1 expires on February 3 and also cos I don't want my COPR to be tied to the expiry date on the old passport. Should I raise a CSE and upload the new passport or should I wait for CIC to ask for it. |

I think you are on the wrong thread. If you are not, your mum can't be your sponsor. Your proof of fund has to be in an account in your name. Letter from your company that follow CIC specifications will suffice as proof of work experience. You can add payslips if you have. Goodluck! Petrelli112: Please apart from the letter from my company, what else do I need to proove my work experience, and I also want to use my mum as my sponsor, but she's into business(large scale trading), how can she proove the funds in her account, as it is not a registered business? |

Let me just say CIC/IRCC as a whole is not just predictable. I never got the bolded, till now. I am post PPR awaiting final status approval. I asked to know my Visa office following the instructions given on this platform, I didn't even get a response. Was in NA2 for 6weeks while IP2 lasted barely 2hours. I can only only wish you speedy PPR, telling you to stay calm won't make you calm. Lol All the best! Yewwygraceful: Hmm, i fear o. London VO seems not to be predictable at all. Some people got PPR after one month of transfer from CIO, some two months, some three to four months. Infact a guy said with London, it is favor because they pick files randomly. Abeg we need to gather round for prayers o.
My file has not even left CIO yet (i have not gotten the "additional document not required" change) but i no say na London my file go land.
My July peeps wey dey London now make we declare fasting o make God intervene so PPR go come our way sharp sharp. |

Your choice...all the best to everyone on their PR journey. Every application is unique and we are not in the mind of VOs. When the issues come up with CIC, we will leave all our 'financial literacy' and do the needful. What if poster was not even called for an updated POF when it gets to stage of checking and he/she simply gets a rejection because of incomplete funds. Unencumbered fund is a requirement for a reason and POF won't bother a lot of people here if the money can actually be spent. I won't advise anyone to have a balance lower than the required amount when application is yet to be approved because it is the same as not having that money. Kontagious: With all due respect, I beg to differ at the bolded.
To me, it makes no financial sense to leave a couple of millions laying fallow in a saving/current account when the same money can be invested profitably in something else.
Even if asked to provide updated POF, as long as there is movement (proportionate inflows inclusive), then there shouldn't be a problem.
At this my struggling stage, there is no way on earth I will leave N6m in an account for 6 months, that's financial illiteracy (no pun intended).
lilyandie, please feel free to touch your POF but also make sure to replenish accordingly within reasonable time. My take. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Abby2017: 1:16pm On Sep 13, 2017 |
Please don't touch your POF. You don't know the question that will be asked when your bank is contacted, besides you can be asked to submit updated POF, how will you explain the movement in your account. lilyandie: My fellow house people, I dey hail o.
Please I need advice from our success PPR people.
Can I touch my POF after I submit my application, I'm a salary earner, I need to use some part of the money for stuff. I will replace it eventually, but can I at least touch it o.
Did you guys touch your POF or do they contact the bank to check your balance?
Thank you for your kind assistance. |

Degree awarded. You are already a degree holder from the date "to whom" or statement of result is issued as approved by senate. Unless it is not this same naija institutions that will fix graduation to like 6-8months after completion of study. "To whom" is what people use to move on till certificate is ready. driTap12: Hello, I require guidance with my EE profile - study information.

If I get your question right, you are asking to know if he should apply alone or not. He can't apply as single if he is legally married to you, neither can you do so, you are married. Either of you can be the principal applicant(depending on your profile) and the other will be part of the application as an accompanying or non-accompanying spouse/dependant. Being married or single does not affect your chances of success. Read page 0 of this thread for general overview. Naomi14: Goodevening house! I am happy I found this thread. Please seniors, my hubby wants to apply through EE, is it easier to get picked if it's just him or as a family? Please don't jump pass my question. Thank you! |

If you have contact in your school, please don't bother waiting, just do the personal followup. ETX won't do anything, at least from my experience and what others have posted here. Your transcript and ECA might even be ready in that 1 month. Mavor: I have already made the order through them last week. I will give them one month. Thanks for the heads up though. |

Your registry date is your wedding date as far as CIC is concerned. "Legally acceptable in your home country" is a key requirement unless your nikkah certificate is in conformity with form E. I believe you would be more relaxed to make a choice if you had like 5 types of wedding like some people/tribe or you "closed road" from tuesday to sunday and registry happened in one of those days (Biko na joke I dey o). I don't think you need LOE though but it all depends on you. studyexec: Did religious marriage (nikah) and reception in May, few years back. There was a local newspaper notification on this (me sef tire as I see am!). I also had a Facebook events notification for friends. We were given a marriage certificate issued by an islamic organisation.
Then did marriage registry wedding in June same year. Issued Wedding Registry certificate. Spouse submitted this to IQAS for change of name proof.
1. Which date should I use in my application? 2. I am thinking of writing a LOE to explain the date chosen, is it necessary?
Thanks in advance |

1. I don't think paying additional money will change the channel of communication between your school and WES. The courier fee is for your hardcopy report. 3. I suggest you wait out 14working days then contact your link again. Verification request sent via standard mail won't get to your school earlier than that. Follow-up is key. All the best. eyoiba: (1) Should I contact wes and pay additional money for courier and is this possible? How will I go about it?
(3) Any other advice or suggestions?
I had to use WES because they give higher points for OND/HND.
I am the principal Applicant and I need the points she will add to my score.

Yes, because I felt like I didn't really study in the UK since I didn't go there at all. It is the university that is there and only made use of their distance learning platform. It depends on individual perception sha, not cast in stone. (Correspondence) in front of university name. MRSDA: So you put in Nigeria as your country of study, where did you put the correspondence? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Abby2017: 6:12am On Sep 01, 2017 |
You can put the LOE if it makes you sleep well at night but putting "(correspondence)" in front of your institution name is more important. Also, if he has visited UK for a different reason in his travel history, then the LOE is important to avoid mixup. I didn't write any LOE for mine, I put the correspondence thing and listed Nigeria as country of education. MRSDA: Hello house, congratulations to all the new PPR recipients....it will be our turn soon.
So all documents uploaded, just trying to cross the is and dot the t's.
Anyone knows if we need to write an LOE for hubby's masters? He did it by distance learning from the UK so he does not need to get a police certificate.
Does this need to be explained? Please help o...we must submit tomorrow! We have danced around this mountain too long :-) |
