As a married principal applicant, u may choose to go to Canada alone and you may also choose to go with your spouse. Some people for some personal reasons might not want to go with their spouses. So I join CIC to ask you, 'Will your spouse or common-law partner come with you to Canada?' YES or NO

GTB will give you a signature confirmation letter for a savings account. You can use that and add 6months statement of account, you are good.

I think I understand how it "looks funny", my TRF was also kinda collapsed into about 50% after merging with other documents and I submitted like that cos it was quite clear after zooming to 100%.
The part I don't get is why yours is blurry. It should be clear after zooming if you have merged the original scanned version of your test report and not a compressed version.

I'm not trying to reduce the size but trying to merge my degree certificate, WES report and IELTS result into one document for upload post ITA. Other documents remain normal after merging but the IELTS report looks funny. Please who can share a possible solution?

I am currently in the UK with my wife and I used Mosque certificate with Newspaper notification of change of name and court affidavit to prove that we are married and her visa was granted despite the fact that she came to join me.

I will only suggest you do court affidavit with the mosque certificate and you should be good to go.

"Spouse refers to either of the two persons (opposite or same sex) in a marriage legally recognized in the country in which it took place..."

And today, woke up to find out the additional documents have changed to "We do not need additional documents"

Anyone knows what to expect now?

Functioning current account/USD account that is at least 6 months old will get the letter in required format from GTB (so they said)...before my people will go and open current account today and want letter tomorrow because savings account holding the POF is 5years old

Yes, you need to include bank reference letter. Whether it will show your balance or not depends on your bamk and type of account you operate. But include the letter in whatever form your bank gives you.

The purpose of gift deed and reference letter is different, so don't mix them up. While the deed is providing evidence of source of fund/large infow, the letter is showing you have the required funds and your account information.

Yes, you can fix and use fixed deposit certificate.
If you decide not to fix the money and your bank doesnt give you a letter in CIC format, accept whatever letter they give and include 6months statement of account.

I get this part, but does it mean funds in account isn't tenable as POF at POE? Does it have to be in cash/card and in dollars?
I want to believe presenting current bank balance (in whatever currency) you have access to would suffice so far it is equivalent to the CAD for your family size.
But what do I know, other landed seniors please throw more light.
I think I read sometimes that Mrs O @impish landed without cash or so.

POF Money was already in my Domiciliary account not my Dollar Master Card. According to GTB your Dollar Master Card has a separate account number from your Dorm account. so the transfer can be done easily online only if you have an online banking activated for your by the bank.

You got that request for only 1 reason- you listed WAEC as part of your educational qualification.

I think there is an icon to modify your order, use that to exclude waec from your list.
If the icon is not there, contact WES (perhaps via facebook personal message) include your ref number and make your request known. You will be guided accordingly.

Summary- don't sweat about getting waec transcript, sweat on how to remove waec from your list.

Please, I have a quick question. I'm about to do my wife's certificate verification through WES. She has only a Bachelor's Degree. I was thinking the B.Sc certificate and transcript was all that will be required but surprisingly, WES requested for WAEC transcripts too.

Could it be that I didn't fill out the forms properly or is that the standard requirement?

Also, how does one obtain WAEC transcript?

This is not true, please do not let anyone scare you in the waiting room, ADR can be for different reasons.
If you have submitted accurate reference letter for the job you claimed point for, you are safe.

I entered only my current job in work history and submitted reference letter (3years+), every other thing that happened between graduation and beginning of this job all entered personal history and I have my COPR, if that makes you feel better

So I heard while filling the E-APR, if you put work experience that you are not claiming point for under "personal history " and the one u ate claiming point for under "work history ", the VO might send ADR because of this.. How true is this. This is because under my work history, I only put the job am claiming point While the rest went under personal history. Pls seniors how did u do it.. Studio24 and other big names just happen to be the default for cities, if you are outside Lagos/Abuja/PH, standard photo studios will still work fine.
Wish you speedy PPR, and when it comes, simply go with the photospec sheet to the studio&use a ruler to compare the measurement of the outcome with spec before you send, you will be fine.

Don't mean to be a pessimist but it is better to be save than be sorry, no one knows what tomorrow holds.
We have seen cases on this thread where the entire 6month plus some days was used in processing their application. If people like that had medicals done about 2months before their AOR for whatever reason, do the maths plus PPR to COPR wait time.
That candidate will have barely 2months to exit before expiration of medicals, yea 2months is sufficient for someone that wants to exit immediately. But then, why not gain more time from onset by doing medicals close enough to submission date as advised by CIC so your decision to exit won't be excessively timebound.

You can send a mail to ACCRAIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca with your complaint, information and screenshot of your approval page if it is taking too long.

Congrats to all ITA recipients, wish you all graceful packaging of documents and speedy PPR afterwards. Remember due diligence

The paragrapgh you referenced in relation to distance learning study being acceptable or otherwise is in relation to DL study from Canadian University and if points will be awarded as having studied in Canada.

Evaluate your UK MBA and bracket "by correspondence" in front of your institution name when filling your forms, it will be accepted and awarded points in same manner as a foreign credential. You have nothing to worry about.
