PoliticsTinubu Unveils Game-changing Gas Infrastructure Projects To Boost The Economy by abc115(op): 1:55pm On May 16, 2024

Tinubu Unveils Game-Changing Gas Infrastructure Projects To Boost The Economic Growth Of Nigeria:

1. ANOH Gas Processing Plant (AGPC link-up)

- This is an integrated 300MMscf/d capacity gas processing plant designed to process non-associated gas from the Assa North-Ohaji South field in Imo State.

- The plant will produce dry gas, condensate, and LPG.

- The ANOH Gas Plant is being developed by ANOH Gas Processing Company, an incorporated Joint Venture owned by
@nnpclimited
and Seplat Energy Plc on a 50-50 basis.

2. AHL Gas Processing Plant 2 (GPP – 2) – 200mmscf/d

- This project is an expansion to the Kwale Gas Processing Plant (GPP – 1), which currently supplies about 130MMscf/d of gas to the domestic market.

- The processing plant is designed to process 200MMscf/d of rich gas and deliver lean gas through the OB3 Gas Pipeline.

- The plant will also produce about 160,000 MTPA of Propane and 100,000 MTPA of Butane, which will reduce the dependency on LPG Imports.

- The AHL Gas Plant is being developed by AHL Limited, an incorporated Joint Venture owned by
@nnpclimited
and SEEPCO.

3. ANOH-OB3 CTMS Gas Pipeline Project.

- The project involves the engineering, procurement, and construction of a 36”x23.3km ANOH-OB3 Project.

- The Transmission Gas Pipeline will evacuate dry gas from the Assa North-Ohaji South (ANOH) primary treatment facility (PTF) to the OB3 Custody Transfer Metering Station (CTMS) for delivery into the OB3 pipeline system.

- About 600MMscf/d is estimated to be available from two separate 2 x 300MMscf/d capacity gas processing.

These projects will increase gas supply to the domestic market by approximately 500mmscf/d, leading to increased power generation and accelerated industrialization which will also enable a better investment climate and promoting balanced economic growth cumulatively.

Bastard he-goat and the barbarians follow him are so foolish. Someone’s $250 million dollars investment was arbitrarily destroyed out of sheer wickedness in Lagos. A concerned Nigerian who felt pained, just like many sane decides to warn people that Lagos is obviously not safe for investments.

How is that bad? So, people should continue investing so that criminals like Tinubu and his puppet in Lagos will continue to destroy them??

I spit on these fools.

Is this really your spouse asking people not to invest in Lagos, or is this an impostor? She claims to be your wife, and you have reposted her on your timeline, in addition to photos of both of you as a couple.

As a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria and Presidential candidate, don't you find this message troubling?

And even the current demolition exercise for the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway does not only affect people of just one ethnic group. MOST of those affected are actually Yoruba, including the Oniru family and their Mami Chula Beach resort, amongst many others.

And beyond that, the demolition is not being carried out by the Lagos State Government. The Federal Government is implementing it under Dave Umahi. How can you blame Lagos for an action of the Federal Government? Do you know how many people lost properties when the Federal Government was building the Third Mainland Bridge? Are we not now all enjoying that bridge?

And even Peter Obi, while he was Governor of Anambra, which is your state of origin, demolished the property of private businesses to make room for a road. For example, he demolished Premier Breweries in 2013 to pave the way for a road in Awka. I have a video of that incident and can send it to you. The Federal Government is paying compensation. Obi NEVER paid compensation.

Would it have been fair for anyone to have said, 'Invest in Anambra at your own peril' because of that?

Perhaps you may want to ask your wife to revisit this statement?

Thanks, and may God bless you.

One of the key importance of this road that I have not heard anyone mention is that it will take the tankers that go to buy petroleum products from Dangotte away from the regular express roads, for at least a major part of the road depending on where the trucks are going to.

The second question as to why they are not starting from Calabar I believe was already answered by the minister where he already said, the Calabar end will start in October also.

This project by the grace of God will succeed, naysayers can keep their negative energy to themselves.
Also, the traffic on Lekki Ajah Axis will be completely gone

BusinessCBN Sells Fresh Dollars To Bdcs At N1,021/$ by abc115(op): 12:27pm On Apr 23, 2024
CBN sells fresh dollars to BDCs at N1,021/$

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has issued a circular announcing fresh sales of $10,000 to each licensed Bureau De Change (BDC) operator in the country at N1,021/$.

The BDCs are directed, in turn, to sell to eligible end users at a spread of not more than 1.5 per cent above the purchase price, translating to a maximum selling price of N1,036.15 per dollar.

This marks the second of such direct sales to BDCs this month and the fourth in the current year, indicating that the apex bank is proactive in managing the fluctuation of the Naira and meeting the essential foreign exchange needs of the people.

The CBN outlined the details of the sales in a circular addressed to the president of the Association of Bureau De Change Operators (ABCON) and urged the BDCs to play by the rules.

The CBN’s intervention aims at addressing the retail-end market, particularly for invisible transactions such as travel allowances, tuition fees, and medical payments, etc.

The circular states in part, “All eligible BDCs are therefore directed to commence payment of the Naira deposit to the under listed CBN Naira Deposit Account Numbers from today, Monday, April 22, 2024, and submit confirmation of payment, with other necessary documentation, for disbursement of FX at the respective CBN Branches.”

On April 8, 2024, the CBN sold $10,000 FX to each of the 1,588 participating BDCs at a fixed rate of N1, 101/$ at a spread capped at 1.5 per cent above the purchase price from the CBN.

Also, the CBN, in February 2024, announced the sales of $20,000 to each BDCS at the rate of N1,301/$.
