Look at the way Christians condemned it
Muslims would have supported the soldiers if they were Muslims

You're supposed to be smart than what your comment portrays.

The two idiot killers are no doubt Christians and you can hardly see Muslim attribute their crime to Christianity or call for explanations from all Christians.
Imagine if the opposite is the case, we would have been seeing different hashtags, criminalising Islam as a religion and calling all Muslims for explanation.
At that, you senslessly came out to assume Muslims (the victim) would have been defensive of the criminals were they to be Muslims.

May God judge you accordingly.

The 2015 scenario is here.

People were tired of then ruling party and sought refuge in the only option left.

And now, people are tired of the ruling party and are seeking refuge in what they perceive as the only option.

My own take is that we should learn not to expect much from ANY of them and we should not paint any of them the 'messiah brush' the same way we did in 2015 as if Buhari was God himself.

Stop the ethno-religious dichotomy and sell your candidate in a civil and convincing manner. You cannot threat people or coarse them to gain their support.

As for me, I see them all as the same. My vote is to double my hustle.

Islam for Muslims / Re: Away from the Slay Queen... by abdddone(m): 5:26pm On Dec 20, 2019
Anytime Islaamic tenets, moral codes or anything relating it are discussed, many non-muslims easily expose their perpetual hatred for the religion. The trend is not new though, it has been the practice since day one when the Prophet started the call. Despite all odds,it survived and remains the only fastest growing religion globally.
infact, countless intellectuals after studying Islam with the view of 'exposing' it, ended up embracing and reverting to Islam. Notable on the list are Joram Van Klaveren, Jacob Williams (Author of why i became muslim), Aysha Parry (Author of i became a Muslim),lan Nisbet, and so on.The uniqueness and genuineness of its message surely appeals to a sincere hearts who are seekers of truth. The question about the concepts of God, Creation and its purpose, Worship, Trials, Deeds and Rewards, etc are all clearly answered.

Many are raising unsubstantiated claims about the Qur'aan, the fact remains that the Qur,aan has been devinely preserved from any alteration, distortion, change or loss, so that it will be available to all generation till the end of the world. All attempts to forge chapters have been made throughout the ages, yet none have withstood close scrutiny. This explains why you can never see versions (standard, revised or what have you)
There is no other book religious or otherwise which has been memorised in very large scale in recorded history except the Qur'aan . In fact, if all the books in the world were to be destroyed, the ONLY book which could be rewritten, word for word without a single mistake is the Qur'aan.

I will challenge anyone, just like Allaah (God) challenged the Arabs who opined that the Qur'aan is not His message thus;

Chapter 17 verse 88 ; 'Say; even if all mankind and the Jinn gather together to produce something like the Qur'aan, they will not be able to do so inspite of the cooperation with each other'

Chapter 11 verses 13; Do they say , 'He has forged this (Qur'aan)?' Say to them (in reply) , 'if you are truthful (in your objection then) bring ten forged chapters like it, calling upon whom you can (for your help) apart from Allaah.'

Chapter 10 verse 38; And yet they say , 'He has forged it,then produce a (single) chapter like it, calling upon whomsoever you can (for your help), apart from Allaah, if you are truthful (in this your assertion)

The first verse quoted challenges anyone doubting the Qur'aan to produce A COMPLETE BOOK like the Qur'aan. If the production of a complete book in like of the Qur'aan by the generality of mankind and jinn remains unachievable milestone since over 1400 years till date, the second verse REDUCES the task to production of JUST TEN CHAPTERS AND NOT A WHOLE BOOK LIKE THE FIRST QUOTED VERSE. The challenge is so open that it even permits you to 'forge' and let's see if it's going to survive. if that is too much, the third verse challenge anyone to produce JUST A CHAPTER and not ten as the case of second verse quoted.

It's open challenge since over 1400 years and it remains an open challenge till date.

Over to the islamophobes to take up the challenge.

Caseless:
The quranic and constitutional backing you have below.

Chapter 24 verse 30-31 of the Glorious Holy Qur'an says:

“... Enjoin believing women to COVER THEIR GAZE and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that THEY SHOULD DRAW THEIR VEILS OVER THEIR BOSOMS AND NOT DISPLAY THEIR BEAUTY except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband’s father, their sons, their husband’s Sons, their brothers or their brother’s Sons or their sisters’ sons or other women, or the slaves whom their right hands possess, ..."

It follows from the verse above that wearing of hijab by Muslim women is a Quranic injunction so a Muslim female is bound to obey it without question.

The next point is whether a Muslim female can capitalize on the provision of Glorious Qur’an to insist that she is entitled to wear Hijab everywhere. The answer is obviously in the affirmative.
Subsection (1) of section 38 of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (2011 as amended), it provides as follows:

"Every person shall be entitled to freedom of thought, conscience and religion...and IN PUBLIC or IN PRIVATE) to MANIFEST AND PROPAGATE his RELIGION or BELIEF in worship, teaching, PRACTICE and OBSERVANCE" (emphasis mine)

BaarakaLlaahu feek brother.

I'm sure some sane and objective minds will pick from what you've said so far but I'm afraid you may not be able to help islamophobes
Politics / Re: Halima Buhari Called To Bar With No Hijab (Photos) by abdddone(m): 8:13am On Dec 16, 2017
what some people fail to understand is that Islam waxes stronger due to diligent observance of its laws by conscious adherents and not by negligence of the lax.

The conscious adherents are often wrongly referred to as extremists though, while the negligent ones who compromise the islamic tenets are referred to as moderate or liberal muslims.

Comparing Islamic Hijab to Celestial garment doesn't befit a sane educated mind because they are both distinctly different.
Hijab is not periodic apparel that is only worn on Friday, it is a part of female dressing throughout her lifetime while the same cannot be said of celestial garment or any other apparel you people hypocritically bring in comparison to the noble Hijab.

Islam for Muslims / Re: Hilarious Questions And Comments I've Heard As An Hijabite. by abdddone(m): 2:55pm On Apr 22, 2016
Bimiafashion:
HILARIOUS QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS I'VE HEARD AS AN HIJABITE.

* Your dress is so nice, it's a pity you cover it up with your hijab.
(Why are you pitying me? You want to take antibiotics for someone else's infection? My
dressing is incomplete without my hijab).

* Do you people wear earrings?
(Yes we do. Average of 2-3 piercings plus an optional, privileged one on the nose for
those wearing niqab!).

* How will you get someone to marry you?
(Seriously?! So, men now have to see your whole body before they decide whether you're Ms. Right
or not? Those wearing niqab can simply reveal their faces to interested brothers, in the
presence of a third party: a male relative or another woman).

* Why do you allow a man to enslave you like this?
( Which man? Last time I checked, my dad/ brother/uncle is still trying to understand why I'm
wearing it. Some hijabites are not even married yet, so, don't think it's the husbands forcing them).

* You can't find a job with this kind of dressing.
( Oh! Really?! Who told you I'm looking for a modelling job?).

* OMG! Your hair is so beautiful.
( Hijab is no excuse for a broken, unkempt, lice-infested hair!!!).

* Do you feel comfortable in this hot weather?
( Yes. There's a thermostat in the brain- the hypothalamus- that helps to adapt to temperature changes. My hypothalamus has
gotten "used to" me wearing the hijab when it is hot. Therefore, it has been RESET to withstand a
higher temperature. So, I'm fine...).

* Do you wear it indoors too?
(No. As long as a "strange" male or
unreliable female is not around, I can remove my hijab and wear ANYTHING inside my father's/ husband's house).

* This is just Arab culture.
( It's not. Go check the history of the Arabs. Women's nudity used to be displayed for entertainment before Islaam came. Hijab is a
religious duty, not a cultural attire).

* Why do you wear this hijab sef?
( The most intelligent question of all. It is a divine injuction. It's clearly stated in the Quran.
