Politics › Re: How Nigerians Are Finally Waking Up To Their Responsibilities - Chinedu George by abdeiz(m): 2:32pm On Feb 15, 2017
revolution won't happen like this and I disagree with this article claiming that Nigerians are starting to take responsibility. this is a delusion, we are still in slumber and don't want to wake up to face reality, most Nigerians just want buhari to be out and expect the next person to change things around with the flick of a finger.

Sorry to say but out situation won't change because the next person will most likely be as corrupt as every other previous leader we have ever had. It just doesn't make sense, why is it so? because we are too quiet and are innately corrupt. we have deeply and selfishly entrenched ethnicity and would die for a corrupt guy to stay in power than to let him hang for his sins.
let me stop here jare

Timsilver:
I'm sorry for the OP. Abia state is one of the worst states to serve. I'm currently serving in in Abia state. I must admit the camp is OK but men the people are hostile and unwelcoming to strangers. The only thing they are good at is cheating strangers most especially Corp members in khaki in every possible way. They see Corp members as money bags. If I have never met, grew up with and have friends who are easterners I would have had the wrong impression of easterners.
guy abeg tell this op o, he just saw camp and is already celebrating
NYSC › Re: Why Abia State Nysc Camp Is One Of The Best In Nigeria by abdeiz(m): 1:23pm On Feb 13, 2017
Hmm well sha its your luck that you enjoyed the camp, as always its stream 2 that always enjoy most, God save you that you weren't in stream 1 when water scarcity was reigning, mami market traders were fleecing off our money, stressful parades, the corruption of the two top women there (I won't mention their names but one starts with F and the other with G).
so yes you can come here and say you enjoyed the camp but I'd tell you that that's your own opinion as well as this is mine and I am not enjoying my stay in abia state as simple as that. Bye.
NYSC › Re: Lamentation Of A Grieving Corper by abdeiz(m): 5:16am On Feb 13, 2017
So unfortunate to have lost another brave soul to the incompetence of our handlers, my own is there too no matter how you complain to him that even your life is at stake they would treat you with disdain. Is it that they have a target to reach for number of Corpers that didn't relocate or what? Why take a gamble on other people's children's lives. What would they have done if it were their own kids ehn?

lol, no 3 is so true, borrow to look fly and fresh and to belong abi, it is well. many of us here are guilty of at least one of the characteristicw mentioned here, acceptance is the first stage of moving on and learn from our mistakes. unfortunately many are doomed to remain ignorant and keep on repeating past mistakes.
BTW nice writeup op.

it's alright, FYI a lot has happened in the manga but I won't give out spoilers. one piece is worth watching it the way it is bro
TV/Movies › Re: Can The Marines In One Piece Be Sad To Really Do Their Job Efficiently?? by abdeiz(m): 9:04pm On Feb 07, 2017
Nice analogy you got going there, but you see if akainu , kizaru and the who top admirals and vice admirals go and the offensive and kill off all the pirates wouldn't one piece end there?

How many times did luffy almost die but due to the power of main character he's still there, its all for the plot bruh. BTW do you follow the manga?
NYSC › Re: An Open Letter To The President by abdeiz(m): 12:17pm On Jan 29, 2017
I love that part where he mentioned that you cannot show face in the market if not your name is sorry, I'm posted in the east, specifically ohafia in abia state, my first few weeks as a JJC I was wearing one piece of my uniform all the time and kept wondering why no one even wants to bargain with me when pricing foodstuffs or bike. Until I was told that they were all eyeing my 19k and think since I'm government property they will also extort their own share from me too, haa I was shocked o and stopped displaying I was a corper and this changed albeit slightly.
The allawee is not enough and it doesn't even come on time, this is an eye opener to source for other sources of income to supplement what you have and ensure your survival especially when you pass out.
God bless us all. Peace.

Sorry I don't normally do this but op this list is so highly biased and inaccurate, cmon you're just looking for trouble by saying the five cheapest in Nigeria, 10 would have been forgivable and besides how is 180000 & 300000 naira rent cheap? that figure would get you a duplex in the northern most part of the country, try kano, Gusau.

Nairaland General › Re: 7 Things To Attempt In 2017 by abdeiz(m): 1:46pm On Jan 14, 2017
Got another seven things here also

Move on from the past and focus on the future ahead

Abhor laziness and procrastination

Stop complaining and take action

Don't wear a mask to please others

Stop looking for reasons you can't do something and find reasons why you can

Enjoy the things you already have(notice the beauty of small moments)

And lastly love who you are genuinely and wholeheartedly.

I admire your effort in trying to convince these sheeple in ignoring and placing so much important on silly charades occasionally orchestrated by their so called churchprenuers.
it's a shame really that even though your destiny ideally isn't in your hand do you still have to wait till someone tell you that this year you'd prosper or not or the size of your seed will have a direct effect on how successful you'd be in the new year. wow honestly we are so gullible in this country.
It would really shock me if this reaches FP, cos is says the truth

Hmmmm....she likes the both of you equally, she doesn't wanna lose you she doesn't wanna lose him...my advice....
Tell her to list Wat she likes about you and what she dislikes about you, same thing she'll do for the other guy ,she can take a week off and shouldn't talk to any of you,Tell.her to be sincere with herself,Because she can't eat her cake and have it back......
Don't self pity her, be strict,After all this she should come to a conclusion of either dating you or the other guy,Don't let her tears move you,Tell her you can't afford to share her with anybody.........
She's confused, the both of you are equal before her, whatever that happens DON'T BE HER BACK UP PLAN.....
lol, the girl doesn't look like someone who would go through all that stress to decide which guy to keep, she wants both of them and once any of the outlive their usefulness to her, she dumps and replaces him. People of both genders do it a lot and I know just the kind of girl she is.

Celebrities › Iconic Star Wars Actress Carrie Fisher Dies At 60 by abdeiz(op): 6:49am On Dec 28, 2016
Carrie Fisher, the actress best known as Star Wars‘ Princess Leia Organa, has died after suffering a heart attack. She was 60.

Family spokesman Simon Halls released a statement to PEOPLE on behalf of Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourd:

“It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning,” reads the statement.

“She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly,” says Lourd, 24. “Our entire family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers.”

Fisher was flying from London to Los Angeles on Friday, Dec. 23, when she went into cardiac arrest. Paramedics removed her from the flight and rushed her to a nearby hospital, where she was treated for a heart attack. She later died in the hospital.

[Time wait for no man! I am sure you are over 20 (that was the age I graduated from the then Unife). I hear you say it is never too late? Yes you are right, but you carry a big advantage with age on your side. For instance, you graduate at age 31 with a first class, you are most likely not going to get work at the IOCs, banks, multi-nationals etc. Why? At that age, Many of your age mates working there are already having about 8 years experience. There you are with a 1st class at 31 without a single day experience.
Good luck to you
Wow this really hit me hard, I just finished school and have no sort of desire in my imposed Field of study, so I started thinking about going to school and hitting a first class degree, but now I csn we that I don't need to do that, I should instead reignite my passion for my first degree and develop more on it by adding a few more professional certifications.
what a blessing to stumble upon this thread.
