Business / Re: Crowd Waiting To Buy Lake Rice At Ikorodu. PICS by Abdngna: 9:26pm On Dec 23, 2016
One shouldn't be speeking ignorantly or sentimentalistically, looking to the fact that what this govt. is doing is what Nigeria really is in need of for it to be productive, exportive and developed in the long run.
People are only sentimentalistically looking to the short run impacts of the policies of this development-minded incorruptible governance of this great president God has blessed Nigeria with, without paying attention to the long run impacts they have at stake.

What a shame!!!

Imaging Nigeria has now started tilting towards producing homegrowned rice capable of challenging the foreign one and people are eager to buy it - a situation that will boost the capability and profitability as well of the local farmers as such, has the multiplier effect of the provision to the teeming unemployed youth with employment opportunities, curteiling the importation and dumping of the foreign one, encouraging its availability in the nation and prospect of its export in the long run that will make Nigeria earn foreign exchange meant for a country to develop but people are here busy critising it out of the shear ignorance/sentimentalism.

Don't you people know Buhari can resort to order the opening of all the boarders of this country for the continuing importation and dumping of foreign rice as you are suggesting - a situation that will make it be available and cheap as you like it to be but with all the above-mentioned benefits of the banning will also be the vice versa?

NB: Achieving success doesn't come just of a sudden!
People must persevere to sacrifice facing suffering in the short run for them, to attain achievement in the long run, sentimentallesstically!!!

All of you insulting them cos of their stature and the sticks they're carrying should stop for a moment to think. If they could hold off the Nigerian Army who had foreign help for more than two years with just sticks and a few Awka made Guns, just imagine what they could have done with real ammunition. I rep Biafra- Land Of The Rising Sun

lionduke:

I just wish the Yoruba people will open there eyes and see these APC shit as it's all about returning power to north.

It is better for it to be back to d so called north than to keep on being in the SE as far as; the former's govt. will be credible as expected of GMB, and the later's govt. will continue being clueless as being seen of GEJ!

I wonder how this kind sentimental issues will get off the heads of Nigerians. It is this kind behavioures that make Nigeria still backward among its peers whom we would have even got better of had it been we have had credible leaderships before.

For the sake of rescueing this country from the current bad situation, Nigerians should keep sentiment aside and vote for the person credible and capable enough to lead this country irrespective of the region he is a son of.

Besides, what is the GEJ's hand in this HIV/AIDS issue for God's sake if not just the president of the country of preference in carrying out this UN project?

This is a right move.

Is he still the speaker of the House? NO

He got Speaker's post because PDP was and is still the majority in the House. Now that he has pitched his tent with APC which has minority in the House, the right thing to do is to relinquish his position immediately he decamped.

I don't know why some people want to create unnecessary attention.

You can't eat your 'gworo kola' and have it back!

Is it by force that what u said should happen even if it should happen?
Politics / Re: Three Female Police Officers Stripped In Public by Abdngna: 10:38pm On Nov 19, 2014
I know the reason why this happened to them was because they were women(being weaked).
Had it been the police were men or even there exist atleast a male police officer among them the people wouldn't have taken the risk of beating them as they have done.

This is one of the advantages of male forces, ohhh, i forgot they said, "what a man can do, .............."

But as in, just joking 4 d sake of having fun jooor! wink

u wrong sire; Nig. Army recruits . 80k/month; d sub leitenants; -- 180k/month; confirmed n factual;

Its d police recruits dat earn 40k/month.

I heared a conversation with one of the armies who refused to obey their oga @ d top's order to go confront BH 4 they were not given sufficient armouries in Borno on BBC's Hausa radio prgrm, saying;
they are being paid around 45k/mnth, and out of that amount too, 15k are being removed for food or whatever i don forgot sha.

He claimed they were just given one catridge of amunition par soldier some it's not even up to that No. to go 4 d operation.
One civilian JTF when asked said they were given just 30 amunitions each, if they need the amount doubled, they need to bribe the amunition issuer

Obiagelli: Rip dead soldiers, its a pity we allowed boko haram swell in numbers.
s

Na who don allowed dem to swell in number to d extent that, dey r now persistently seizing towns nd cities from Nigeria's armed forces almost unchallenged from d latter?
BH have now seized almost ten if not above towns and cities of the north eastern Nigeria from d country's forces, nd all d cities nd towns captured are well known but unfortunately up to now the country's forces couldn't be able to recapture even one of them.

Na who's responsibility and fault to have not stop dem from swelling since they were not up to this state? Everyone know hm!

So either of the following two things must be behind the continuity of this BH insurgency tins, vizz:
1. Either it's a ploy aimed at achieving one selfished interest or the other by some group of people, or,
2. It's as a result of the cluelessness, incapability, total failure and lack of technical knowhow of how to handle insurgency by the govt. of the current president of the nation.

Who told you Islam and Hausa/Fulani culture as well support muslim women to engage themselves in such an act - body revealing for public front? Tupiakwa!!!
Let the so called Igbos nd Yorubas keep on doing it, its good for them sha!

And let me assure you that, if to say Arab and Fulani girls(if not becouse of their religio-cultural restrictions) are to be contesting for such competitions, there wouldn't be any other girl from any other tribe in the world talkless of Nigeria that can emerge victorious ahead of them!

pinkguy: What do u expect from dis northern d don't allow their daughter to go out the are lock indoor still some one come to ask for their hand in marriage this girl end up having sex with their brothers and any close male relative that are allow to stay close to them( because of the high rate of cousin to cousin sex among them ,just because the are allow to come close to each other. the muslim community have to make law allower them to marry each other

who told you daughters are being always kept indoors for north? If it is wives you said, you will to some extent be right.
Cases like this one is rare to be found in north. Before you hear one case like this happen in the north, you would have hear hundreds if not thousand(s) of it among southerners especially SE(where you will see girls and women wandering everywhere they wish controllessly almost naked as they are wearing body-exposing wears) as you have heared someone commented it is even legitimate among them south before.

There have been lot of instance cases in the south where fathers have been caught having intimate r/ships and impregnated as well their own daughters. Na who no know jare!? grin
