BluntTheApostle: The reality is that LP cannot win the 2023 presidential election.
It is impossible for a party that just sprang up to do so without a major merger.
Even a merger between Obi and Kwankwaso cannot pose a threat to PDP and APC.
Maybe 2027 sha. The main aim of this very post and many others like it is to discourage the obidients. We are winning be sure of that. Yes we are. The force behind us is so enormous. |

Politics › Re: Obidients Come Into 2 Colors by Abdu81: 8:12pm On Aug 17, 2022 |
ImperialYoruba: 1st color are disenfranchised people of SE who are politically and socio-economically disadvantaged by successive governments in Nigeria, whether at Local, State or Federal level. Their voice for grievance against government is Biafra.
Their purpose is to install an Ibo President as a conduit of power to escalate their grievance.
In addition, they believe Yorubaland, particularly Lagos, to be a prime estate. They want to forcefully convert its trust so its ownership is no longer exclusively Yoruba. Ibo believes their population in Lagos and across Yorubaland is an advantage to make the occupation and conversion happen under an Ibo President.
2nd color are disenfranchised non-SE people who are dis-illusioned in what Nigeria means to them. They are not Ibos but they have also been largely affected by some of the things that afflict Ibo in Nigeria, corrupt leadership.
These people see Tinubu as a corrupt and bad leader. Tinubu had many opportunities to earn their trust but his arrogance prevailed and he took people for granted that they will always be there when he needs them.
For them, it is an option between Ibo and Tinubu, and they have chosen Obi as a better option.
What are the pros and cons?
For Ibo, they recognize Obi is not the best tribesman to get them a solution so they have erected a sublayer movement underneath the structureless Obidient movement. That movement is indeed dis-obidient. It is brash, rude, violent and mobile. Their passion is for Obi to become President so they can dominate the political landscape and occupy privileges denied to them in past, even forcefully if they have to.
For non-Ibos, their anti-Tinubu passion has clouded their eyes. They failed to see the plan to occupy, convert and dominate their prime estate as an extension of Iboland. They even failed to recall that Azikiwe attempted same thing and when Awolowo denied him from taking over Western Region, Zik plotted a trap and Awo ended in prison. Ojukwu also attempted, succeeded in seizing Benin and declaring it an extension of Biafra, he did not get far enough to occupy Western Region and Lagos but he advanced troops to go take over West. In each of the attempts there were Yoruba who were dis-illusioned and only saw the surface campaign but had no clue the true plan underneath that Ibo was scheming to own Yorubaland.
We are back there, there are Yorubas blinded by obidient and surface propaganda, they are blind to the underneath plan to turn them and their prime estate to servants under an Ibo leadership.
 Wasted efforts. |

To justify why Nigerians should vote for Tinubu at 86years or what?
Besides, tell us about the antecedents of these men before they became presidents.
Were their ages controversial?
Were their true origin unknown?
Were their certificates missing?
Prior to their being elected, did they support an illiterate bigot who damaged their countries for 8 years so they could come in as the saviour?
Were they godfathers to touts?
Were their wives in their country’s senate for donkey years?
Were their sons in charge of signage and advertising in their states?
Were their daughters the Iyaloja General of the markets in their states?
Did they establish a tax company through which they siphon the funds of their states?
Lastly, tell us about their records in office.
Please be fast. Please add Were they frail and sick and shaky? Also note that are ages while in office not age they contested. Tinubu is contesting at 87 by next year. So 8 years in office will be at 95 years? So the 220 million Nigerians are all mad? |

ThinkSmarter: I am voting for Tinubu not because of his personality, but cuz of his leadership prowess. Tinubu is unarguably, one of the corrupt political elites. And you also can't deny the fact that he is well renowned for assembling the best team to deliver good leadership . Obi is a Saviour figure due to his principled personality. But unfortunaly, he will be overwhemed by gang up of the corrupt cabals that are protecting their vested interests. It is difficult for Obi to penetrate cuz of the sentiments against his region due to their clamour for secession. Tinubu's major challenge is his health. In, all may the best person that will bring so much reform for the betterment of the country win, irrespective of his tribe, religion or age Is he contesting? |
Politics › Re: Tribunal Summons Tinubu Over 10 Foreign Accounts (2011) by Abdu81: 6:04pm On Aug 15, 2022 |
Zikojukwu: Tribunal Summons Tinubu over 10 Foreign Accounts
The Code of Conduct Tribunal has summoned former Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to appear before it on Wednesday, September 21, for alleged breach of the code of conduct for public officers, signaling a commencement of his trial for allegedly operating 10 foreign account while in office.
Tinubu was Lagos State governor from 1999 to 2007.
The former governor confirmed the summons last night through his Chief Press Secretary, Olakunle Abimbola, saying, “after years of threats, political mudslinging and media trial on the impending allegations, a formal invitation to commence trial has finally come, which he welcomes”. According to the CCT official, Tinubu is facing trial for allegedly operating several foreign bank accounts contrary to Section 7 of the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act, Cap 56 Laws of the Federation, 1990. The offence is punishable under Section 23(2) of the same Act.
Tinubu was first charged before the tribunal on 24th April, 2007. The trial was, however, stalled for seeming lack of political will to prosecute the former governor on the part of the tribunal. Some had also viewed his prosecution then as an attempt by the Peoples Democratic Party-controlled Federal Govern-ment to silence opposition forces. Tinubu, the leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria, has repeatedly denied any wrong doing in office.
The former governor is accused of operating 10 different foreign accounts while in office as governor contrary to Section 7 of the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act, Cap 56 Laws of the Federation, 1990 and punishable under Section 23 (2) thereof as incorporated under paragraph 18, part I of the 5th Schedule to the 1999 Constitution. He was said to have failed to declare the foreign bank accounts in the assets declaration form CCB-1 which he submitted to the Code of Conduct Bureau when he was elected governor. A deputy director at the Code of Conduct Bureau, Mrs. Ikechi Iwuagwu, deposed to an affidavit to the effect that the former governor failed to disclose the foreign accounts for which he was charged before the tribunal.

Confirming that he received the summon, Tinubu said in a statement by Abimbola that: “The summons was signed by the chairman of the Bureau. It was dated 6 September, 2011. “The summons alleged the contravention of Code of Conduct for public officers, whilst Asiwaju Tinubu was governor of Lagos State, by operating several foreign bank accounts, between 1999 and 2007, in alleged contravention of Section 7 of the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act, Cap 56 LFN, 1990.
“The Bureau in the service invited Asiwaju Tinubu to appear before it, in Abuja, on Wednesday, 21 September 2011 at 10 am. Asiwaju Tinubu wishes to state that after years of threats, political mudslinging and media trial on the impending allegations, a formal invitation to commence trial has finally come, which he welcomes. “He said that as a law abiding citizen, when he was informed that the summons had arrived, he directed his staff to duly accept it; and not evade service.
This is in conformity with his profound respect for the rule of law. He wishes to state that as the battle now shifts to the Code of Conduct Tribunal, those who allege must prove. He also welcomes the opportunity to put an end to years of insinuations, unproven allegations and politically orchestrated persecution.
“The National Leader of the ACN calls on everyone to keep calm but be vigilant, while the Nigerian judiciary do justice in this matter.”

ThankUUJesus: I was inside a keke o heading to the market and the Yoruba driver and his passenger were talking politics. I don't understand Yoruba but from their discussion I could tell that they don't like Tinubu...so they started speaking Yoruba and facing my direction to join in the discussion but all I could say in English is let Nigerians vote the right person this time o....at that time I don't know who they were suppprting until one of them now noticed I don't understand Yoruba and started saying thank you brother...we must vote out APC and PDF...he said he is 100% supporting peter obi...the driver also said same thing....a woman was later picked up by the keke and she joined in the discussion. She said Peter obi is the person she will support o...as in with vex the Keke man said he is tired of Nigeria that he wants to leave Nigeria and can never vote a walking dead man like Tinubu and can never vote Atiku. The male passenger said in fact he prefers Yoruba nation republic...he whispered in my ears that I should not worry, that Nigeria will break up soon. The Keke then picked up a young girl who also joined in the discussion...hmm the girl was provoking and insulting Yoruba leaders o...that Yoruba can fall hand ehn and would decide to do something better and one mumu would spoil their plan...this girl should be in her early twenties.
Hmm could you believe that all of us in the Keke was supporting Peter Obi as president. The passengers said a lot of bad things about Tinubu , Atiku and what is happening in Nigeria politics..they were all standing for Obi and sees him as the right person but they were scared that Obi would be rigged out even if he wins so the Yoruba male passenger said he prefers Yoruba nation , he then murmur in my ears again that I should not worry I will see what will happen that Yoruba will leave Nigeria in no far distance...he said other things about this that I can't reveal to the public
When we stepped out, we were all happy about the discussion. I asked the female passenger what state she is from and she said she is from one of the south eastern state ''cross river state".
So I think most Yoruba people are beginning to be detribalized. I love this. If you claim to really love Nigeria and want Nigeria to succeed and you are claiming to supporting Atiku or Tinubu at this time, hmm I think something is really wrong with you. You must be a very dangerous and wicked person that is heartless and a tribalist. Who ever post this should be held responsible if any of the urchins commits suicide. |
