Even if you upgrade to 3.46p which is still the best firmware patch for 4950h the problem will still persist so lets wait for their latest software whether the problem would be fixed. By latest I don't mean 3.47p cos you are going to loose audio on some of the PVu channels with that software so 3.46p is still the best for now

To add biss key on this decoder all you have to do is to copy the softcam onto your flash drive and insert it to your computer or laptop right click on the softcam and open it with notepad, scroll down to where you will see biss key look for any line and edit your key accordingly to the row and also change the frequency and the symbol rate to that of channel you wish to unlock plus the index number save it and upload it to your decoder.
That's it.

Press f1 on ur rcu then input 8280 a menu bar wud display, use ur vol button n scroll till u c a biss key menu then search thru the various biss key weda u will c tv3 biss row then u edit it wit d right keys exit n dat all. But in case u cudnt c tv3 biss key row look up 4 any row wit freq n sr dat has v o H depends on d polarity u used in tracking ur tv3, edit d row wit ur tv3 key ok it then press f1 2 edit the freq n sr of ur tv3 ok it n exit. I bliv i got d procedure ryt cuz that how i did mine n it working thnx 2 Ussal one of my mentor.

Sunene1, Pls how do we put biss keys in Strong SRT 4950h. You can start your explanation from patch, cos d latest software downloaded has this feature.

How I did mine was that, press f1 then input 8280 a menu bar wud display then use ur vol button to scroll over n over till u c Biss display bar, then search through they various keys till u c tv3, press ur edit blue button n edit the tv3 key then press f1 to edit the frequency n sr then ok it n exit, hope it will be helpful.

get a new flash load only the 4950h software bin rom plug the box off it from back put the flash then on the box it will load by itself

I want to express my profound appreciation 4 ur kind support, I finally did sir.

Another problem I encountered with the 4950H though I'm using sw 2.55p version in fear nt 2 loose az... working in it, is tv3 biss key, though I'm able to add biss key line n renaming the provider but when I tried editing the freq, sr and sid after pressing f1 and ok it, it won't make any effect.
I pray somebody will come up with the solution.

FIND another 4950h and do box to box film ware upgrade

I tried the box-to-box upgrade but unlike 4669x, the 4950H has no tranfer option.

Hallo, for strong 4950M,

Save software under USB(empty) flash drive and rename it as “rom.bin” Insert the USB into receiver. Switch main power ON while pressing several times (2 or 3 times while main power is inserted) the “Power” key on remote control. Receiver will auto detect the software and download it. Report back if successful.

Please use the official strong software after the receiver is back to life you can patch it with your preferred software.
I have never tried it but some forum members successfully resurrected their srt4950 receivers.

I very grateful with ur response, I tried every possible means even some great installers around bt its couldnt wake, so the gave me another one of which i upgrade n downgrade without any problem but with the previous one is not possible, maybe its has a generic fault of its own?

Pls can u advise me which of srt4950H firmware version is currently reliable especially with Az.....

My fellow Nlers, pls i need ur urgent assistance, in the process of upgrading srt 4950H somebody closed 2 me just mistakenly shook the power cord and its got 'fried' ever since i ve been trying to wake it up but upon all the software i used the Rx kept popping with this ' cann't find rom.bin'. Pls all gurus with idea should help, though i knew i'm posting on the wrong thread.

Dunno if dis a silly question to ask, can one receive startimes channels with a strong rx?

Exactly the same tin we r talking about bt use 4ways splitter cuz i v problem wen i used 2ways splitter if u tune to one channel on 1 rx d oda rx wud go red. As Gadotor wud always say, tanx.

My jsc sport is 62%, this issue of splitter i dnt knw o bt am nt having d problem in channels selection it is wat i used in splitting my single cband lnb wit my neighbor, the best splitter is 4ways supermax splitter u will v dat problem when u r using 2ways splitter which u wud encounter single drop when connected to 2 receivers. How i connected is simple just 4rm the lnb i splitted it to our different diseqc switches n we r watching different channels of the same satellite.

I use Supermax lnb n as for the protruding plate i later pushed it a bit inside b4 press tv could pop up. One thing that I observed with c band feed horn if am correct is dat it doesn't work on 1m dish but on 1.8 n above, Irib Varzesh is biss encryted. Google for the biss key. Tanx.

My location is middle belt Nigeria still figuring out how to increase the % though the weather was dizzling when i did the tracking even though C band is a bit weather resistance (my observation o)

Sometimes is beneficial when someone question is being ignored, I finally got the Press tv and Irib package on 1m dish only that I'm still battling to increase the signal 4rm 58% to above, cuz it really tracking bt Aljazeera is very stable. Tanx 4 ur support Ussals.

@ all, I v been trying 4 d past few days to nail Press tv on Arabsat c-band using 1meter dish, inserted d dielectic plate bt no avail, i tot d dielectic was d problem i went n constructd 1 using glass bt still no show, please wat I'm doing wrong

Gudday profound Engineers in the House, pls any1 with car electronic experience? I bought peugeot 406 which came with Philips 22DC594/65 cassette radio and Philips RC026 6 disc changer but the head unit to the radio was cut, i bought another head unit and fixed it and the cd changer is now functioning. My problem is the the radio wasn't recogising the cd changer as it doesn't displaying when disc is loaded to it i tried playing tape but still not working, please your assistance is needed. My respect to all as usual, i installd nilesat on 1.8m to a friend n got mbc 65% wt sx4669x all education channels stable using Maximum prime focus single mxt 20 lnb. My question is dt since i cud nt get d dual lnb of d product hw reliable wud d signal b if i use 4ways splitter?

Assalamu alaikum brodas, pls i nid ur assistance cuz i dnt knw if i'm ryt, it was during zuhr prayer i.e afta i recite fatiha n sura in d 1st 2 raka instead of me 2 say tahiya b4 i stood up, i forgot i jst stood up n continued it was in d course of reciting fatiha dt i remembered dt i hadnt sat 4 tahiya bt i didnt stopped i continued d remaining 2 rakat n sat down recite d tahiya n did salam n i intended ba'di n did 2 sujada again n repeated tahiya n finally end d prayer.
