A similar thing happens here in Nigeria where a person will sponsor a fiance/ fiancee in school and then get dumped after the person graduates - I am against it.

I personally will not want my son or grandson to sponsor someone over here and start to fund school fees of the person. Why?

I once refused to matchmake girl with a young guy because I viewed her as someone who will be a chronic dependent, unwilling to do anything for herself.
In the same vein, I have also discouraged a girl from bringing a man over here because terms of income, mentality, education they are not matched.

First off, these men are foolish. Why can't they go to nursing school themselves? Is there something that prevents them from being nurses and making the most money in the home?
