Good evening hopefuls,

I have been following this thread silently for months and I noticed that a few persons have refused to share the truth about the current status of this recruitment. I know some people that have chosen to stay quiet will not be happy about this information I am about to share.

1. Some persons made it to the interview without sitting for the aptitude test including those that performed poorly. This was just to fulfil all righteousness to ease pressure. These persons attended the interview in the second week of December, 2017. However, most of them will not get the job.

2. 300+ made it on merit. 400 successful out of 3000+ candidates. 70% score in the interview will guarantee you the job. Federal Character was applied.

3. FCC approved the list and COC was issued; typing of APLs and posting letters commenced 3weeks ago. For those saying the list is with FCC, its either you are not telling the truth or your source refused to disclose this info.

4. Email, SMS will be used to contact successful candidates and Portals will be updated to provide further details regarding pick up of APLs.

5. Some people were called and asked to provide some documents that were missing on their portals in the month of May. Remember the Friday of the third week of May when the portal wasn't accessible and displaying an error message was when such update was done.

6. We will be contacted this month.

7. No one has been issued APL. Ignore such rumour.

8. This is the most transparent recruitment process. Most people with strong connections will be disappointed. The sons and daughters of the common man will make it on merit, thanks to Mr Tata. He deserves an accolade for this.

Of course, this is Nigeria. If truly this recruitment has been highjacked, names on the merit list would be less than 5. In conclusion, this recruitment is fair, very fair.

Like I said, merit is 80%... a lot of Engineers, least state is 5... The FCC has no issue with the list and they gave their words about issuing the COC on so so date, hence my mentioning of the 10th of June but they didn’t issue COC before that date and promised a new date wich is best kept anon.
All is very close and set.

Let me clear your doubts.

After the aptitude test, truthfully, some other people were invited for the interview. But it was to fulfil all righteousness. if they score low, they won't get in, except they are on stakeholder's list or on the list reserved for few top shots. Many top candidates are currently disappointed. That stakeholders u are talking about are d major prblm of our country...they won't allowed dis country to move forward...thanks

My brother, it’s all to please certain people. What makes you think does that were invited for the interview without aptitude test will be given the job. My female friend was assured by people in high places in Nigeria that she will get the job, if I tell you these people that assured her, you will be shocked. I could have sworn with my life that the only slot is definitely hers, but it turned out otherwise, in fact, I am still surprised. There are some people you can’t say NO to their faces, but you can still do the right thing behind them. It happen regularly.

My brother, you are always in the impossibility zone, HABA!!! Nigeria is what it is but DPR can recruit more than 75% on merit. It will be a shock just like the miracle of 1996. Many ordinary citizens will get this job while the connected will be disappointed.

You're welcome. But remember your viewpoint might change when testimonies start to flow- you might even be part of the successful ones. Merit is real!! I'm saying this with all boldness.

1. Kindly ignore the APL screenshot, it's fake.
2. DPR is not into any backyard recruitment- List of special candidates slots will not affect the merit slots, DPR did the needful.
3. The list is at FCC and unfortunately, I do not have updates on its status(Kindly get updates from folks with FCC link)
4. Pls, exercise patience- everything is still running smoothly and this recruitment is coming to an end in no time
5. It shouldn't take an excessive time to issue COC
6. Pls, don't lose hope!



7. Current DPR staff are aware GTs and EHs are resuming soon, they are waiting
8. At the same time, remember it's just 300+ names on the merit list- not all will make it
9. Formula Used: An aggregate of your exam score and interview score divided by 2.. Let me explain (Exam score is 100%, Interview grading is also 100%- if you score 80 + 50, that gives you 65% which is quite poor else you are from the less privileged states)
10. Engineers were preferenced, pharmacy got the lowest number of candidates, HR is fair etc.
11. A good number of EH were considered
12. If your average score is 80% upwards, you stand a good chance.
13. Federal Character is key, I doubt if there's any local government with 2 candidates
14. The lowest number of candidates from a state is about 5
15. Some states got between 11-16 candidates
16. I have received numerous emails, unfortunately, I won't reply or open any for reasons best known to me.


17. This month is still GREEN

a word is enough for the wise. any body who thinks an agency like Dpr will recruit based on merit is a joke, i dont have anyone to help me but God, but still waiting paitently for the recruitment to end so as to clear the thoughts of DPr off my mind. no any merit based recruitment will last 2 years to complete, that alone tells you something is happening underground. director of dpr is said to be in his village enjoying his retirement benefits, but he is still serving as director due to influence of his ogas, look every nook and cranny of Nigerian enclave is stinking with corruption, to even get teaching job in nigeria is untill you know someone not to talk of job of DPr magnitude. dont take Dpr for head like gala, just zero your mind and expect the worst, when it work out in your favour then give thanks to God almighty. definately some will get in on merit, but the odds are very very high.

Let me share my experience with you all.

I experienced this stress between 2010-2013 during nnpc recruitment. I started a thread on naijahotjobs that had more than 1000 pages.

After a long wait, the letters came.


It was a terrible experience as many did not get the job, that includes myself.

Pls do not put all your hopes in this, be ready to accept whatever comes.

Nnpc started the process well, the first two stages were on merit. Final selection was mared with serious corruption.

I guess they do that this days so that people will not complain about the process.


If you know anyone, pls follow up. If you don't pls pray.

Many people who comment here have talked to one or two persons about getting help.

When they finally get their letters, they won't tell you how they did it. If you have not, pls talk to God.

When the letters finally come, a lot of people will be shocked. I almost got hypertension because I didn't make it.

Looking back at my performance at the interview I cried like a child.

It was God that helped me...


This world is messed up already.

My advise to everyone, just zero your mine on DPR and move on your life whenever they call and you happen to be among the successful one's

Learnt from a source that they’ve issued APL’s to some people some time last week (replacement not recruitment).

Anyone heard anything of such?

Just got in touch with twahimret , she/he said everything has been done just like the OND Applicants.

Just start counting your fingers, she/he promise to activate he/hisr moniker reactivate her/his account as soon as the date is fixed.

Wow! alot has happened here well I haven't been able to get a hold of my contact to confirm if the list is at FCC but from all indications it looks as if it has arrived. Hopefully whatever info I'm able to get I will let u guyz know....

P.S: let me make this clear this post is not for everyone.

Firstly, none of my posts have ever been deleted on this platform. Secondly, you said for integrity sake I should step down, isn’t that funny? I didn’t remember forcing anyone to believe my info when I gave it out. And I don’t think I owe anyone apology for disseminating the info I get whether it came to pass or not. See, I will remain here and give infos I hear and nobody can tell me otherwise. Yours is to just turn deaf ears to it or you shd walk away wen yu see my post. I said I will never post again if the info concerning on the 10th didn’t come to pass, then I changed my mind. I’m not posting anything here to please anyone o, it’s just for those who choose to believe.
The most important thing on my mind now is for me to be among the lucky ones and not to be dragging if my info is right or wrong

Okay if they were scammers why didnt they ask for a fee or smth? all they asked or wanted to confirm was about his degree anyway time will tell. I dont know honestly. I pray we all get APL at the end of the day thats what actually matters.

What he is trying to say is that: the HR(DPR ) wields more power, in a recruitment process, than the Chairman (Director of DPR ), just like the 'Committee in charge' (FCC) has more influence in the issuance of COC than the Chairman of FCC.

It is not the job of the chairman of FCC to issue COC. There is a committee incharge of that affair headed by a commissioner of state. However, the list gets to the chairman first before being sent to the committee for approval. Just like in DPR recruitment , the HR department has bigger influence during recruitment than the office of the chairman.

DPR representative was in FCC yesterday.... Yes FCC has the list but COC has not been issued yet. Tnx

COC was issued yesterday. Source indicated that FCC raised some concerns but nevertheless issued COC. Source didn't reveal the issues raised(maybe the issues were not too serious). Source also indicated that some state's had less than 5 candidates. Source didn't reveal the total number on the list. The ball is now with DPR.

I can confirm the list isnt with FCC. As the chairman has travelled for a funeral.
