Facts have emerged revealing shocking details on how the Charles Soludo’s Campaign Organisation is being directly funded using funds earmarked for the Anambra Airport Project, which has been raising a lot of dust in recent times. This is according to several documents seen by our reporter which were released by a whistleblower who works in the Office of the Anambra State Accountant-General. The numerous documents showed several banking transfers from the Anambra Airport Project Account domiciled in Fidelity Bank directly into Accounts of the Soludo Campaign Organisation and in some cases close associates of Soludo who hold administrative roles in his campaign organisation. In one of the leaked documents which had financial transactions from an account named, Anambra State Government: Airport Project housed at Fidelity Bank with the account number: *615643218*, it revealed a series of transactions that ran weekly from the 22nd August 2021 till October 6, 2021 to an account opened with the name Emeka Ezenwanne. Checks revealed that Emeka Ezenwanne is Charles Soludo’s in-law and is the Commissioner for Public Utilities as well as the Director of Finance in the Soludo Campaign Organization. Between 22nd of August and October 6, a total of *N4.17 billion* was wired to the account. In another very curious transaction a total sum of N1.8 billion was transferred directly to the Soludo Campaign Organization from the same Anambra State Government Airport Project account with Fidelity Bank. This transaction occurred in four tranches of N450 million on Tuesday October 12, 2021. The last batch of transactions captured in the leaked documents is a transfer of N1.18 billion to CitiLine Logistics, a company owned by Prof. Solo Chukwulobelu, the Secretary to State Government and who doubles as the Director General of the Charles Soludo Campaign Council. It is not clear what services CitiLine Logistics rendered in the airport project. The Anambra state government has been accused of siphoning money using the Airport project as a cash cow for funding the campaign of the APGA governorship candidate, Prof. Charles Soludo. The Anambra Airport Project has been generating unending controversy thanks to the secrecy surrounding the true cost and source of funding the project. No accurate figure has been released by the government as the cost of the project. Gov. Willie Obiano earlier this week declared that the airport is ready for commercial operations and slated October 30 for its commissioning, however it has now been confirmed that a provision of N10 billion was made in the 2022 budget for completion of the Airport. This development lends credence to insinuation in some quarters that the N10 billion provision is to offset an anticipated loan by the Soludo campaign from Fidelity Bank for election day expenses with the expectations that if Soludo wins, the loan would be then offset by the State Government in the 2022 Fiscal year using public funds. The Willie Obiano administration has further been accused of rushing to commission the Airport even when it is not yet completed as indicated by the additional huge budgetary allocations. Calls to the Accountant-General's office, SSG's Office and the Soludo Campaign Organization for clarifications were unanswered. http://www.signalng.com/revealed-obiano-financing-soludos-campaign-from-the-airport-project/

As controversies continue to trail the commissioning of the Anambra International Passenger and Cargo Airport, Umueri, a group under the auspices of Coalition for True Democracy (CTD) has described the process as shambolic. In a statement on Sunday in Awka, Anambra state, the coordinator of the group, Mr. Samuel Okolo said Aviation business is not like any other transport business where things are hurriedly put together to score political point. "Aviation and airport operations are safety operations that are regulated (beyond Nigeria) by ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation), so NCAA (Nigeria Civil Aviation Organisation) itself is overseen and certified by ICAO". "Anambra people should genuinely be worried about aviation safety and must not be tainted by political colouration'. According to Okolo, more facts are emerging on the role played by Air Peace Chief Executive, Onyema Allen in the controversy surroundings the Anambra airport "Who said an airport project is not laudable?, but the question is how genuine is the project and should aviation process be treated with emotions or politics? Lives are involved". Okolo said the airport is not ready, saying that what it has at the moment is a runway and a makeshift terminal. "They still have not concluded with NAMA on the training and deployment of Air Traffic Controllers" "Even when the aviation regulatory authority, Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), failed to approve the take-off of two commercial flights that were billed to land at the airport from Lagos and Abuja respectively for obvious reasons, It is unfair that Obiano and Air peace continue to give the impression that all is well. The group said it has facts to prove that the Air Peace boss connived with Anambra state government to defraud the people in the project. Recall that Air peace recently put out an advert of ticketing detailing Abuja to Anambra from 29th - 31st October at the cost of N27500 and many Nigerians were deceived into paying and booking online and 24hrs later the management cancelled the ticketing without recourse for those who have Successfully booked. The statement described the commissioning of the airport as a fraud against unsuspecting Nigerians and the people of Anambra state. "No wonder even Soludo was absent at the shambolic commissioning with the commercial flight no where to be found and no notable government, aviation official or Anambrarian attended". " Let's not forget that under the same SPV arrangement, the Anambra Airport City Infrastructure Limited has allocated 75 per cent equity stake to Elite International Investments Limited, 20 per cent to Orient Petroleum Resources Limited and five per cent to the Government of Anambra State. "This among other facts are what the government of Obiano and APGA are planning to hide from Ndi Anambra making them believe they are doing good for the people of Anambra". "Long before now, Obiano having realized that there is no way the APGA can win in free and fair election, has sweep the state’s reserves and use its supplementary budgets over the years to provide slush fund for electoral bribery and enrichment of corrupt APGA leaders. "The game plan is to actually bring in Soludo to cover the scam tracks of his administration. "Governor Obiano by now, ought to know that Ndi Anambra have made up their minds to liberate their state by electing the people’s candidate, Sen. Andy Uba". http://www.signalng.com/anambra-airport-group-slams-air-peace-over-sales-of-fradulent-tickets/

Coalition for True Democracy (CTD), has slammed governor of Anambra state , Willie Obiano and his party All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), describing the administration as the worst administration in the history of the state. The convener of the group Mr Samuel Okolo said Obiano has failed in every aspect of providing basis amenities in the state. Okolo also said failure of the governor Willie Obiano led Anambra State government to meet safty standard was behind the suspension of Commissioning Anambra International Airport by Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), it has been learnt. Contrary to claims by the state government that it met all requirements for the approval in line with international standards, when Nigerian Metrological Agency (NiMET), it has been gathered that the airport project was poorly executed despite the huge amount of money He said, "In a hurry to cover up all the Money Laundry in the state, Obiano and his likes came up with the story of building the airport, believe it or not, this is not what to call for celebration". "The governor should be ashamed of himself. He built a single airport for almost 8years and still not completed. It has consumed $2.2billion. I consider this as the biggest scam in Anambra state!". According to Okolo, Anambra state has been adjudged as one of the worst state with bad road network in Nigeria today, despite been among the biggest commercial centres in Nigeria who benefits from Nigeria’s Ecological Fund. The state houses one of West Africa’s biggest markets—the Onitsha Main Market. He said, "The All Progressives Grand Alliance, in Anambra state under the leadership of Willie Obiano is just a sharm and that Obiano has succeeded in bringing down a State that was on jet speed with amazing accelerating templates down. "Today Anambra is struggling to breath like Lyod struggled to breathe in the hands of American Police. If ndi Anambra don't vote out APGA in the November election, it will be a bad story for the state. "I call on Nigerians to come to Anambra and see for themselves roads like, Ekwulobia, Oko, Isuofia and Igboukwu roads and see how they have been eaten up by deep erosion, with marks that look like aftermaths of earthquakes, this is even as the state" "Governor Willie Obiano claims he is working but this is not evident in the uneven roads across the state". "To continue in his act against the good people of Anambra state, Governor Obiano is planning to hand over power to Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, A Man who was indicted over his role in the $462 million scam involving Federal Government’s investment in the African Finance Corporation (AFC) during the previous administrations of former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and UmaruMusa Yar’Adua."

Statement Issued at the End of One-Week Capacity Building on Shadow Reporting, Rights Based Approach and Impact Tracking Held in Abuja from October 18 – 22, 2021. In an effect to support in-depth trainings for Nigeria , Organisations of persons with Disabilities (OPDs) on UN treaty monitoring mechanisms, alternative reporting, as well as rights-based advocacy using Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) principles, the Centre for Citizens with Disabilities (CCD) organized a one-week training for organisations of persons with disabilities in Nigeria with support from the Disability Rights Fund (DRF) through its Technical Assistance funding program In his opening remark at the training, the Executive Director, Centre for Citizens with Disabilities (CCD) Mr. David O. Anyaele said that the training was provided as a prelude to the preparation of an alternative report to the CRPD Committee, following Nigeria’s submission of its initial report in Spring 2021. CCD Executive Director further stated that the funding program provides resources to grantees for specialized advice and customized support to resolve specific problems and increase the capacity of organisations of persons and the larger disability movement in target countries. According to Mr. Anyaele, the first three-day of the workshop was used to train selected leaders of organisations of persons with disabilities OPDs on alternative reporting so that participants understand the UN treaty system and monitoring mechanisms and the major steps in writing an alternative report. “The last two-day of the training focused on rights-based advocacy and outcome tracking and harvesting with concentration on the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) principles. This is to ensure that grantees become more strategic in their advocacy and design projects that are result oriented. It is also to ensure that participants are able to produce reports that clearly identify outcomes of executed projects or activities” Mr. Anyaele said. Ms. Katiya Sakala, Regional Head of Program, DRF said that they are supporting the Nigeria OPDs DRF grantees to prepare to submit an alternative report to the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. “With Nigeria now having submitted their initial report on the rights of persons with disabilities. This is a requirement as provided for in article 33 of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. It is required that when the government submit their report there should be a parallel report which supposed to be submitted by the Civil Society Organisations” Katiya said. Mr. Theophilous Odaudu, Nigeria Program Officer, DRF on his part said that the significant of the training is that when country ratifies international treaties, they have obligations, they have also reporting obligation to the treaty bodies. When they summit this report, it is expected that Civil Society Organisations will also be expected to bring an alternative report to show what is on the ground, to agree or disagree on what the government has reported. The lead facilitator at the training, Mr. Foluso Adegalu in his presentation said that right-based advocacy is all about NGOs tracking their activities so that they can see the impact of your work on the ground. It gives you the opportunity to reassess and reevaluate what you are doing and if there is any reason to modify your strategy and all that. “Rights based advocacy as the words suggest is advocating for the rights of persons with disabilities on the understanding that persons with disabilities are entitled to their rights not because it is a charitable option that is given to them by the State” Foluso said. One of the participants, Mrs. Patience Ogolo-Dickson thanked CCD and its partner Disability Rights Fund for the full week training on shadow reporting, rights-based advocacy and impact tracking. “I have learnt so much about outcome tracking from this training. As an NGO and OPD, that is one thing that is really missing in most of our work. It is a great opportunity for us, and for me in particular, especially to learn that, and I am very sure that this would improve our work and further strengthen our organisation" Mrs. Ogolo-Dickson said. Ms. Florence Attah, Program Officer, Centre for Citizens with Disabilities (CCD) said that the training provided an opportunity for simulation exercise on CRPD Committee, including having participants draft an alternative report on specific sessions of the Nigerian Report and present their report to the Committee amongst others. Organizations of Persons with Disabilities that participated in the training include Association of lawyers with Disabilities. An apparent cash trapped All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), led by its candidate for the Anambra Governorship election, Chukwuma Soludo, has gone cap in hand to Prince Engr Arthur Eze to seek financial support to prosecute the November 6 election. With strong allies of APGA decamping to the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the election, it was gathered that Soludo mobilised close friends to the Abuja residence of Prince Engr Arthur Eze to plead with him to support his ambition financially. Prof. Soludo was accompanied by Sir Victor Umeh, some Igwe and APGA chieftains. Coincidentally, they met Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah who had also come to Prince Arthur Eze’s residence to solicit for his support. Soludo's visit to the Anambra business mogul has shocked many as it would be recalled that the governor Willie Obiano APGA led government insulted and called Prince Engr Arthur Eze unprintable names after he led some traditional rulers on a thank you visit President Buhari. Some of the traditional rulers were dethroned, some suspended and Ozo Igbo Ndu was ridiculed by APGA media. A source privy to the meeting told our correspondent that Arthur Eze told Prof. Soludo to go and bring Gov. Obiano and his wife to come and tender open apology before he could listen to them. He advised Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah to go and support Andy Ubah of APC. https://www.arewareportersng.com/anambra-guber-soludo-umeh-ifeanyi-uba-others-run-to-arthur-eze-for-financial-support/

KINGSLEY KANAYO The Diaspora Support Group for Asiwaju , says support for former governor of Lagos State, Sen. Bola Tinubu to run for presidency in 2023, is a collective task. The group said everyone should support Tinubu to become president, irrespective of tribal or religious sentiments and reject the likes of Governor Yahaya Bello and many others who dosent mean well for Nigeria. Dr Akinbode Badeji, Director-General of the support group, said this in a statement made available to Newsmen on Friday in Abuja. Badeji, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), said Nigeria youths must not allow the like of governor Yahaya Bello to decieve them into believing that they mean well for the country. “It is funny when you see the likes of governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State declaring to run for the presidency”. “Yahaya Bello is never a Presidential candidate and the youths should never take him serious”. “Bello is a failure and a total embarrassment to the Nigeria youth, his recent deception is the EFCC saga”. “After taking the elders, Senators , state assembly members, to the EFCC Boss to broker a deal on a condition that the money discovered will be returned to CBN, came out to lie to the public that the EFCC found nothing against him”. “The EFCC withdrawing the court proceeding does not in anyway mean Yahaya Bello is innocent, It was to stop the funds from been stolen that the EFCC went to court and to what essence will it be to continue the matter when he agreed to return the money to the CBN”. “Yahaya Bello only enjoys immunity as a governor ,he has alot of cases to answer, the miss management of Kogi State can not be forgiven, after 6 years as a governor he has nothing to show for it, and such a person dreaming of becoming the president must be a joke. “Tinubu stands out as one politician with the best résumé to consolidate on the next level milestones of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration. Badeji noted that Nigeria was on national rebirth, pioneered by President Buhari , after several years of maladministration by her former handlers. “We looked around for such personality with the political clout and national appeal to the various interest groups, that can consolidate on whatever achievements the Buhari government has made. “And we discovered that one of the All Progressives Congress (APC) national leaders, Tinubu, is the best man for the job and the Youths should join in the movement . Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has opined that the discuss for the comprehensive review of Revenue Allocation formula (RAF) was overdue and that Federal government must now consider relinquishing portions of her share to the other 2 tiers He noted that realities between the 3 Tiers of Government currently necessitated a more equitable sharing plan for all revenue accruing into the Federation Account noting that such was the position of Kogi State and he was convinced it was held by his colleague governors He stated that the federal government enters into all sorts of agreements with organised labour, including on the minimum wage as well as enhanced pay for some professional cadres, which invariably mean more money out of the already depleted pockets of hapless states and local governments. Governor Bello noted that Currently, the federal government takes 52.68 percent, the 36 states and the FCT split 26.72 percent and the local government councils make do with 20.60 percent while the 9 oil producing states receive an additional 13 percent as derivation revenue which is distributed among them depending on the actual contribution of each to crude oil receipts. The Governor said with 43,788 workers and a salary obligation of N3.8bn monthly for Local which is quite different from the N3.206bn needed to settle salaries and remunerations every month at the state level for a workforce Kogi’s monthly income, which includes allocations from FAAC and JAAC plus its internally generated revenue which the current Administration has painstakingly grown about 300%, still hovers around N7bn. He added “The situation is dire and it becomes worse when you add our many other governance responsibilities such as meeting the needs of our people in all sectors – education, health, infrastructure and utilities, security of lives and properties, social cohesion, diversity management, among others. Clearly, the case for an enhanced revenue share for the 2nd and 3rd tier of governance has never been stronger. I strongly urge it this is the right thing to do and this is the time to do it”. He added that the Commission has a duty to ensure that none of such revenue was stolen, diverted or hidden away from all lawful beneficiaries. Often, States and Local Governments can do nothing more than look on, helpless, at the distressing frequency with which our media report the discovery of trillions of naira in distributable revenue which the NNPC or other revenue generator either neglected, failed or refused to remit to the federation account as and at when due. While tasking the EFCC to brace up in the challenge of its responsibilities, he advised that preventing the larceny of the nation’s communal funds was actually a better use of her valuable resources and time than the recent dealing in innuendos about alleged lost or found funds in alleged secret accounts of the Kogi State Government which neither him, nor his administration knew anything about. The Governor noted that Revenue allocation in Nigeria should promote national unity and accelerated economic growth of all tiers while he urged this assemblage to look critically at the revenue allocation formula currently in use in Nigeria today and isolate the immediate and remote reasons why it has failed to achieve the desired developmental aspirations. Governor Bello however suggested a revenue-sharing formula of 39%, 35% and 26% between the federal, state and local governments respectively https://kwararafareporters.com/2021/10/22/governor-yahaya-bello-suggests-a-revenue-sharing-formula-of-39-35-and-26-between-the-federal-state-and-lgas-respectively/

The Nigerian Army has been described as a useless organisation filled with corrupt generals and unable to protect the country from mutating violence, The Economist reported in its latest issue. “Nigeria’s army is mighty on paper,” the London magazine said. “But many of its soldiers are “ghosts” who exist only on the payroll, and much of its equipment is stolen and sold to insurgents.” The Economist said Nigeria has not been able to address its insecurity because military chiefs have plundered much of the country’s combat resources and the rest had stretched thin with little capacity to forestall the crisis. “The army is also stretched thin, having been deployed to all of Nigeria’s state,” the paper said in its upcoming October 23 issued that was published on its website today. The paper also said Nigeria police has become demoralised due to poor training and endemic corruption. “The police are understaffed, demoralised and poorly trained. Many supplement their low pay by robbing the public they have sworn to protect,” it said. A spokesman for the Nigerian Army did not immediately return requests seeking comments. Nigerian military chiefs have for years faced allegations of corruption and collusion with violent criminals as a way of keeping themselves enriched. A large cache of military weapons had ended in the hands of insurgents since 2016. In July 2019, Nigerian soldiers fled with hundreds of millions of Nigeria they were asked to transport to Abuja by an army general. The money loot was immediately traced to Hakeem Otiki, a major-general who was subsequently dismissed from service after a military trial. Anti-corruption activists said the Nigerian Army took action because the soldiers fled with the loot and the scandal became public. http://www.signalng.com/nigerian-army-generals-now-stealing-weapons-and-selling-to-terrorists-report/

The most recent big award in the kitty is the SUN NEWSPAPERS GOVERNOR OF THE YEAR AWARD. Was that for doing nothing? Those who hate the strides and the courage of the Young dynamic Governor of Kogi State will voice tommy-rot, but the fact remains incontrovertible, he has outperformed his peers, and as a Governor he has recorded Olympic feats in Security, Job Creation, Gender Inclusiveness, Religious Tolerance, Agriculture, Health etc. The last time I checked, the Nigerian Union of Journalists NUJ Lagos State Chapter had given him an award for enterprising leadership. The National Chapter of the NUJ honoured him as an Exemplary Leader. The NUJ FCT Abuja Chapter gave him the Award of the Torchbearer of Security, and what other platform can most credibly and creditably say it as it is? Will the entire assemblage of Journalists from different Press, Electronic and Print decide to deceive? May it be known to all those who loathe and hate the Governor Yahaya Bello GYB phenomenon, that the awards will keep rolling in, because their hate will not blind the eyes of patriots and statesmen to the glowing light and strides of GYB. Are you also aware that GYB was honoured by the Kwararafa Reporters as the Governor of the Year very recently? Are you aware that across the nation the GYB Movement stands tall with hundreds of Awards coming in from established media outfits, YOUTH groups, Civil Society outfits, Corporate Organizations? Do you think that they are for nothing? Are they simply about the politics of 2023? Think again. But truly 'only a tree that bears ripe fruits get stoned', so we are not troubled about the stones of naysayers, we have vowed however to never allow their lies and falsehood against GYB to stick. As they lie, we shall continue to tell the truth, for the truth only can set us, and indeed our nation free. Did you observe the recent face saving volte face of the EFCC regarding the spurious litigation concerning Kogi, GYB and the 20b allegedly fixed in Sterling Bank for interest? The EFCC has since withdrawn the case, but we yet insist that they tell Nigerians the whole truth. Sterling Bank did not promise to return any money to the CBN because they cannot return what they do not have. There was no money fixed for profit, the money was used to clear the arrears Salaries which was the reason it was released by the FG in the first place, therefore tell all naysayers and purveyors of falsehood that their lies won't stick. Youth O'Clock is the trust of the moment and the urgency of now. The Youths have elected to identify with their own, they are ready, willing, able and resolute about the quest for a new deal for our Country. The GYB phenomenon across the nation is the validation of this trust. Young people are saying no to the lies and falsehood consistently woven against their Star Man in leadership. They are saying that the lies out there cannot defeat the truth. And the TRUTH is that GYB is the best Governor in the Nigeria in the area of Gender Equality and Youth Inclusiveness, as recognized by a huge platform as the United Nations (UN Women), a research on this will amaze you. As the awards and honours roll in, We Move. So do your facts check and join the GYB Movement today. The TRUTH is that GYB has made Kogi State the safest State in the North and the second safest State in Nigeria. The TRUTH is that GYB has made Lokoja the capital city of Kogi State one of the fastest growing cities in Africa today. The TRUTH is that Kogi State under GYB leads the pack in the roll of the States that service and reduce/repay their local debts in Nigeria. Thanks to the prudence and dexterity of the helmsman and Accountant cum Auditor with a midas touch, GYB. The TRUTH is GYB's Kogi State is not owing workers, and Kogi States tops the chart in paying Medical and Health Workers their salaries and emoluments. The TRUTH is that Kogi State under GYB boasts of one of the most functional Rice Mills in Nigeria today. And that the Kogi State Agricultural Revolution scheme is second to none. The TRUTH is that Kogi State has one of the best Skill Acquisition and informal education programmatic which is the key to creating jobs and making the seemingly unemployable employable. The TRUTH is that with the Kogi State share of the COVID-19 Palliative funds, GYB is 65% done in building one of the biggest health facility in West Africa in Kogi State, and no other Governor presently serving has achieved that feat. The TRUTH is that GYB is a unifier and a bridge builder and he has manifestly proven that on several fronts. Mediating the truce that ended the food blockade between the North and the South in February is a testament. Intervening along with the Governors of the South West in quelling the fulminating Fulani/Yoruba tiff in Oyo, Osun and Ondo States is lucid. And constantly reaching out to the leaders of the disparate ethnicities that people Nigeria is halcyon. And the TRUTH about the GYB magic is ad infinitum, do you yet wonder why the awards keep rolling in? Wonder no more, our promise is to keep churning out the WHOLE TRUTH, for the lies against GYB won't stick. GYB stands out. As the awards for his great deeds and ennobling strides in leadership continue to roll in, Countrymen and women, WE MOVE with 2023 and the high office of President is our sure destination. It is YOUTH O'CLOCK Nigeria. God Bless You All. Chris Mustapha Nwaokobia Jnr. National Coordinator GOT YOUR BACK NIGERIA. GYB NIGERIA.

As the Youngest serving Governor in Nigeria, I will not overlook the trust of our young people expressed across our nation some 12months ago. Indeed every strata of leadership in our nation was called to action, we were challenged to new values in leadership, and were all reminded of the fact that power truly belongs to the people. At various fora our Dear President has admitted that our Young People spoke out loud and clear against oppression, tyranny and brutality, and that they did so hugely in the ENDSARS protests of October, 2020. The Vice President has admitted that much, and across our nation, States and Agencies of Government are taking steps to atone and mitigate the wrongs done the citizenry by the defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad SARS. But the lesson remains and reverberates, it is a call to Leadership at all levels, elected or appointed, to commit to new values. We must make the people the primary trust of leadership. We must protect rights and liberties. We must make the Youths the linchpin of governmental trust, and we must listen when they call us out. In October 2020 I did not only show solidarity with our Young People in the protests, I also lamented the carnage and the looting that became the sour point of the protestation. As a nation and a people we have learnt deep painful lessons, leaders and followers alike. May we resolve to always listen to each other, to disagree, to agree, and to agree to disagree albeit peacefully. And may we always treasure the flawless width, height and breadth of dialogue and peaceful engagement. In acknowledging the first year of the ENDSARS protests, I must call leadership and followers to the primacy of dialogue and proactive engagement over fierce contestation. I must as a Leader urge and nudge my colleagues to new paradigms. We must engage with all stratas of society particularly the largest demography which is the Young People. We must include the Youths, and engage them effectively in leadership across all levels. We must create platforms where they can effectively engage with leadership. We must agree that on the political stage no longer will young people serve only as hewers of wood and drawers of water, but that the young people of Nigeria, must, should, and will be deemed fit and deserving of leadership at all levels. We commiserate with all the victims, the young people, their families, and with the Security men and women who fell victim to the sad spectacle that became the end of the ENDSARS protestation on the 20th of October, 2020. May we as a nation build values that will make such moments anathema. May we grow values centred on love and dialogue. And may the memories of ENDSARS protestation challenge everyone of us to responsible and responsive values as leaders and the led. Finally, as noted by the National Economic Council, may our young people sheath their sword and allow the compensatory effort of governments across the nation to serve as worthy memory of the ENDSARS protests a year after. God Bless Nigeria. A RELEASE MADE ON BEHALF OF THE EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF KOGI STATE Governor Yahaya Bello. GOT YOUR BACK NIGERIA. GYB NIGERIA.

The Presidency is perfecting plans to arrest senate minority leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe for Sponsoring Terrorism. Recall that the president in his Independence Speech accused a serving National Assembly member as being behind the agitations going around the country.and will soon be brought to face the law. An insider from the presidency who spoke with Arewa Reporters affirmed that the person the president was referring to was senator Abaribe. The insider revealed that the senator is on the raider of the DSS and all plans are been perfected to pick the Senator. The source also said the issue if not we’ll handled will trigger a national crisis and as such the DSS is gathering more evidence before effecting the rest order which has already been issued by the presidency. Yesterday the Spokesman to the president, Femi Adesina accused Abaribe of using “foul language against those in leadership” while he supported those pushing for Nigeria’s breakup. The article titled: “Weighty Matters About Our Country,” reads partly: “Some people incite violence through words or actions, thus exacerbating the security challenges we have. You wonder where they are from, and why they would further stoke a burning fire with incendiary materials. “There is one funny Senator who talks about the mismanagement of our diversity as a country, yet he daily uses foul language against those in leadership. He stood surety for someone bent on the dismemberment of the country, and when that one vanished, and he should have been cooling his feet in prison, the Senator still spews rubbish. Chief’ mismanager’ of our diversity. And the President had words for him and his ilk, who exist around the country. “We are ready to arrest and prosecute all persons inciting violence through words or action. Our resolve for a peaceful, united, and one Nigeria remains resolute and unwavering. “The seeds of violence are planted in people’s heads through words. Reckless utterances of a few have led to losses of many innocent lives and destruction of properties.” https://www.arewareportersng.com/revealed-buhari-set-to-arrest-senator-abaribe-for-sponsoring-terrorism/

Prof Chris Mustapha Nwaokobia Jnr, The National Coordinator Got Your Back Nigeria has called on Nigerians to debunk the perfidy of those who have made deceit and debauchery their manifesto for 2023. Prof Nwaokobia stated this in a press statement , he also condemned in totality the many lies told against the governor of Kogi state, he declared that governor Yahaya Bello is still very much in the race and no amount of media lies will truncate the presidential ambition . “The times are excitingly splendid for thinking, and the moment instructive. In my previous Press Statements I captured like a clairvoyant the times and the moment. And the drama is playing out speedily”. “Before us is the Political fervency and currency of 2023, and without equivocation there are two clear divides already, the one is the group that seek political power for good and are engaging with the people, in this group Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi comes top. And the second is the group that seek power by all means and for selfish end, and to this group falsehood, deceit, debauchery and blackmail is king. Failing to push through with narrowing down the political space through zoning and rotation of the Presidency, they have deployed their goons armed with falsehood and deceit, but yet again, their lies won’t stick”. “Sir Walter Scott captured the moment succinctly in that great quote of his from which I strictured the caption of this piece. “O what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive”. “I shall place before you a few direct shots of those who have refused to build structures for what they consider their 2023 ambition, but have chosen to lie and trade deceit against the manifest front runner Governor Yahaya Bello GYB whose structures are presently effective, efficient and effectual across the nation. Youths and Elders alike are united in the call for the New Deal that GYB epitomizes”. “They have told many lies against GYB, and we have consistently and clearly rebutted them, but for the umpteenth time let me place the records straight. And if you cannot research the facts, do not at least give vent and life to their lies and falsehood, because they won’t stick”. Prof Nwaokobia also went ahead to State the records straight . 1. They have lied that GYB does not pay workers. And the Truth is that GYB is not owing salaries. It is also an undeniable fact that Kogi State tops the Chart in the payment of Teachers and Medical/Health Workers in Nigeria. 2. They say that GYB is not a performer. The truth is that Kogi State under GYB Kogi State has the most functional Rice Mill in Nigeria today. That today the Kogi State capital Lokoja is one of the fastest growing cities in Africa. That Kogi State under GYB leads the pack in the roll call of States that are servicing their local debts. That Kogi State with 9 borders including the FCT is the safest State in the North, and the second safest State in Nigeria. That Kogi State is the most gender sensitive and women friendly government in Nigeria. That Kogi State is the most Youth inclusive state in Nigeria, and the record continues. 3. They lied that Kogi State put a whooping 20billion naira loan meant for the payment of Salaries into an interest yielding account in Sterling Bank. Unfortunately for the liars who have continued to push that false narrative, the Bank has denied the existence of any such funds. And the State of Kogi has not only refuted that daybreak falsehood but have taken legal steps against the purveyors of that falsehood. 4. They have lied alleging improper disbursement of the COVID-19 funds by Kogi State. Forgetting that it is on record that Kogi State is the only state in Nigeria that has deployed some of the funds in building and upgrading her medical facilities. Remarkably the construction of one of the best ultra modern Hospitals in the whole of Africa is ongoing in Okene, Kogi State. Today that hospital is more than 65% ready. And clearly Resident Doctors and Health Workers have said severally that Kogi State is one of the few States that has religiously kept with their obligation to Medical Workers. 5. They have lied about the prudence of the GYB administration. Unfortunately for them, every index of financial decency, credibility, prudence, accountability and decorum have shown the administration of the Accountant and Auditor called Governor Yahaya Bello GYB as topnotch and above board. 6. They have lied against his strides in human capital development. Alas Kogi State is one of the States with the least prevalence of communicable diseases including the COVID-19 scourge. And Kogi State does not only feature in the chart of the States with the best compliance with the Mellenium Development Goals requirements, but has built many skill acquisition centres and have also trained so many in modern farming skills. 7. The lie that GYB has dumped his aspiration for the high office of President and started lobbying for the position of Vice President is the cheapest and the most kindergarten of the many lies of the detractors. “However we do not grudge the cowardice of those who have sleepless nights because of GYB. Take this to the Bank, Governor Yahaya Bello GYB is in the race for good, and come 2023 it will be a promise kept and a new walk as PYB. The fact we hold dear is that it is Youth O’Clock and GYB is the baton holder and the grail bearer of that trust, and we are committed to the path to a New Nigeria”. “We shall therefore continue to ceaselessly debunk the perfidy of those who have made deceit and debauchery their manifesto for 2023. And we shall persistently present the GYB magic as the visible and viable choice for a better Nigeria come 2023. God Bless Nigeria”. https://kwararafareporters.com/2021/10/07/2023-presidency-it-is-time-for-youth-oclock-and-governor-yahaya-bello-is-the-baton-holder-group/

President Muhammadu Buhari will present the 2022 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the Senate and House of Representatives on Thursday. The Deputy President of the Senate, Ovie Omo-Agege, disclosed this on Tuesday in the Senate Chamber of the National Assembly in Abuja. He made the announcement while presiding over the plenary as the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, was absent. Before the announcement, Senator Omo-Agege informed the lawmakers that President Buhari has submitted the revised 2022-2024 Medium Term Expenditure Framework MTEF and Fiscal Strategy Paper (FSP). In a letter addressed to the Senate, the President urged the lawmakers to approve the planning documents which he said would form the basis and assumptions in the 2022 budget. He stated that the revision reflected the new fiscal terms in the recently enacted Petroleum Industry Act and the 2022 Appropriation Bill. The revision, according to President Buhari, will reflect funds for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to prepare for the 2023 general elections. He explained that it also has provisions for hazard allowance for health workers, wage adjustment for workers, and funds for the population and housing census in 2022. The present administration has been making effort to ensure the appropriation bill for the following year is promptly submitted, as part of its commitment to the January to December budget cycle. President Buhari had presented a proposed 2021 Budget of N13.08 trillion, to the National Assembly on October 8, 2021. The act, tagged Budget of Economic Recovery and Resilience, contained a crude oil benchmark price of $40 per barrel and a daily oil production estimate of 1.86 million barrels (inclusive of condensates of 300,000 to 400,000 barrels per day). This included N1.35 trillion spending by government-owned enterprises and grants, as well as aid-funded expenditure of N354.85 billion. A breakdown of the 2021 Budget indicated that the act had a recurrent expenditure of N5.65 trillion, personnel cost of N3.76 trillion, and a debt service of N3.12 trillion. The statutory transfers were also put at N484.4 billion, while pension, gratuities and retirees’ benefits gulped N501.19 billion, N625.50 billion as the overhead cost. http://www.signalng.com/president-buhari-to-present-2022-budget-to-nass-on-thursday/

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday said he had directed a conditional lifting of the ban placed on the operations of the micro blogging sire, Twitter, in Nigeria in June. Buhari disclosed this in his nationwide broadcast to Nigerians to mark the nation’s 61st independence. He described the social media as a very useful platform but regretted that some users have misused the platform to organise, coordinate, and execute criminal activities, propagate fake news, and promote ethnic and religious sentiments. The President said, “Social media is a very useful platform that has enabled millions of Nigerians to connect with loved ones, promote their businesses, socialise, and access news and other information. “However, recent events have shown that the platform is not just an innocuous platform for information dissemination. “Rather some users have misused the platform to organise, coordinate, and execute criminal activities, propagate fake news, and promote ethnic and religious sentiments. “To address these negative trends, the Federal Government of Nigeria suspended the operations of Twitter in Nigeria on June 5, 2021 to allow the Government put measures in place to address these challenges. “ Following the suspension of Twitter operations, Twitter Inc. reached out to the Federal Government of Nigeria to resolve the impasse. Subsequently, I constituted a Presidential Committee to engage Twitter to explore the possibility of resolving the issue. “The Committee, along with its Technical Team, has engaged with Twitter and have addressed a number of key issues. These are National Security and Cohesion; Registration, Physical presence and Representation; Fair Taxation; Dispute Resolution; and Local Content. “Following the extensive engagements, the issues are being addressed and I have directed that the suspension be lifted but only if the conditions are met to allow our citizens continue the use of the platform for business and positive engagements. “As a country, we are committed to ensuring that digital companies use their platform to enhance the lives of our citizens, respect Nigeria’s sovereignty, cultural values and promote online safety. http://www.signalng.com/breaking-buhari-orders-conditional-lifting-of-ban-on-twitter/ |
Lawyer and Public Affairs Analyst, Prof Chris Mustapha Nwokobia , says rotational presidency is in conflict with the Nigerian constitution and must not be allowed to stand. Prof Chris Mustapha Nwokobia who is also the Convener CountryFirst Movt., made this known when he appeared as a guest on Arise TV NEWSDAY program to discuss the position of the Northern Governors against the zoning of the Presidency, and the Politics of 2023. Prof stated that since 1999 when Nigeria returned to democracy, people from different part of the country have been allowed to participate in primaries of political parties. According to Nwokobia , after 61 years of nationhood Nigerians shouldn't be debating on rotational presidency , religious or ethnicity but competence and Capacity. "A time it was in our country when we had a Muslim Muslim ticket and it was not a big deal , not a big deal because MKO Abiola and Kingibe were able to reach out to all section of the country" The call of rotational presidency is just politicians seeking for the "best part to feather their best" He charged the youth to demand Leadership and take Leadership https://premiumnewsnigeria.com/2021/09/29/2023-presidential-election-should-be-about-competence-and-capacity-prof-chris-nwakobia/ |
BREAKING: 2.5% Equity Shares of Indorama Eleme Petrochemical Company Limited: Appeal Court Dismiss Application Challenging Ownership The Court of appeal today dismissed an appeal challenging the decision of the National Industrial Court over ownership of the 2.5% equity shares of Indorama Eleme petrochemicals company limited. The National Industrial Court Port Harcourt division earlier dismissed an application seeking to set aside an Arbitral judgement awarded and enforced by the Federal high court. The newly employed staff of the company, Indorama Eleme petrochemicals company limited filed a suit in CA/PH/ 209/2018: Between Kendrick Oluka & Ors Vs Bala Marama & Ors, contending the legality of the shares, they argued that Existed Staff of the company who are members of the Co-operative should not continue benefitting from the dividends as they are no longer staff of the company and as such should be replaced by the newly employed staff But the Industrial Court declined jurisdiction to entertain the application declined jurisdiction stating that the federal High Court that granted the order enforcing the arbitral award is a court of equal jurisdiction. Dissatisfied with the judgment of the industrial court, the Appellants approached the court of appeal to set aside the judgement of the industrial court and also to uphold their argument. But the Appeal court today 24th September 2021, dismissed the Appeal and affirmed the judgment of the National Industrial Court. However, the Appeal court determined and resolved this appeal on the following grounds; (a) The ground that the Judgment of the National Industrial Court was granted on a day that is the Court's vacation. The Appeal Court held that since there is no injustice suffered by the Appellants, the ground was resolved in favour of the Exited staff and Cooperative. (b) The ground that the National Industrial Court should have set aside the decision of the Federal High Court. The court held that both courts are courts of equal jurisdiction. (c) The ground seeking the National Industrial Court to determine the substantive suit rather than saying the appeal is an academic exercise to delve into the substantive suit after same has been dismissed. So the court refused to grant the ground. The Court of Appeal dismissing the appeal resolved this ground by saying that since the Federal High Court in Portharcourt has enforced the arbitral decision, going into the same substance of the case will amount to upturning the decision of a court of equal jurisdiction. (D) The ground that the Appellants did not seek for leave of the Appeal court before filing the Notice of Appeal. The Court of Appeal said since parties have submitted to the jurisdiction of the court by entering appearance, it can no longer challenge the ground, so the court refused to admit the ground. The Court resolved grounds A,B,C in favour of the Exited staff and the Cooperative while ground D' was refused. The case was finally dismissed with the cost of #200,000 granted in favour of the Exited staff and the Cooperative against the Appellants (Kendrick &Co). http://www.signalng.com/2-5-equity-shares-of-indorama-eleme-petrochemical-company-limited-appeal-court-dismiss-application-challenging-ownership/

President Muhammadu Buhari’s media aide Femi Adesina has hailed his principal’s “divine attribute” as similar to God’s ways of doing things, saying Nigerians should like and “covet” him with love and praises. Mr Adesina on his Facebook page Thursday night said Mr Buhari embraced controversial politician Femi Fani-Kayode and accepted him in the ruling APC despite Mr Fani-Kayode’s years of frequent curses and insults directed at the president. “This President has a capacity to forgive, and forget. And make peace,” Mr Adesina said in the post. “That was what he displayed in the case of FFK. Nothing short of divine attribute, which me and you should covet and seek to approximate.” “He showed him mercy, dropping like gentle rain from heaven, when he could have otherwise spat into the sky, collecting the spittle with his own face. Was that not what me and you would have done? Confess. “We would have told FFK to go to hell, and stay there. But Buhari didn’t. He displayed an attribute of God: forgiveness. One of the lies that had been serially told against the President was his alleged unforgiving spirit, a falsehood sold to Nigerians by anti-Buhari forces since the days of military rule. “The lie travelled for so long, till it was eventually overtaken by the truth in one day. Nigerians saw through the facade, and elected Buhari as President in 2015. Re-elected him with wider margin in 2019,” Mr Adesina said. Mr Fani-Kayode joined the APC on September 16, after publicly asserting himself as the most vocal and vicious critic of the Nigerian leader. He abandoned the crisis-ridden opposition Peoples Democratic Party, where he was aviation minister in the 2000s and presidential election spokesman in 2015. Before Mr Fani-Kayode met with the president for a photo opportunity and formal declaration of his membership of the ruling party, Messrs Adesina and Fani-Kayode repeatedly sparred over criticism of the direction Mr Buhari was leading Nigeria. http://www.signalng.com/fani-kayode-buhari-acted-like-god-nigerians-should-like-him-femi-adesina/

The United States has seized about $6.1 million belonging to Nigeria after a hired arms supplier pleaded guilty to charges including illegal dealing in military-grade weapons and money laundering, U.S court documents revealed. Judge Erica Grosjean of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California ordered the forfeiture after Ara Dolarian, an unlicensed armed dealer hired by the Nigerian government to help circumvent U.S. ban on arms sale to Nigeria, admitted conducting arms sale without requisite approvals. Mr Dolarian, who initially denied any wrongdoing, was arrested on May 15, 2019, and pleaded guilty on June 27. His sentencing hearing will open on September 24, 2021, and may be concluded on October 6, 2021, court filings said. For pleading guilty, Mr Dolarian would face years in prison and would also forfeit $6,024,806.45 cash trapped in various U.S. banks and entities under his name and his businesses. A brand-new BMW vehicle was also confiscated and would be sold by the U.S. government, documents said. The documents revealed that Sambo Dasuki, President Goodluck Jonathan’s national security adviser, contracted Hima Aboubakar, the controversial promoter of Societe D’Equipments Internationaux (SEI), to help broker a deal for high‑explosive bombs, rockets, military-grade firearms and aircraft-mounted cannons to be deployed against Boko Haram insurgents. The deal came as 2015 general elections loomed and Mr Jonathan appeared desperate to rout out Boko Haram elements and boost his re-election efforts. To execute the deal, Mr Aboubakar, a citizen of Niger Republic, entered a sales agreement with Mr Dolarian, who did not have license to export arms or broker arms deals as the U.S. had restricted the sale of arms to countries known for flagrant human rights abuses under the Leahy amendments. “At no point did Ara Dolarian (Dolarian), Dolarian Capital Inc. (DCI) or their affiliates receive DDTC approval to broker defense articles to Nigeria,” the U.S. Homeland Security said in the charges. Although Mr Dolarian had submitted an application requesting a licence to broker military equipment transactions, it was rejected by the DDTC. But that did not stop him from proceeding to present himself to Nigerian authorities as a qualified arms dealer. The weapons were valued at $8,616,042.50, and while the sales agreement lasted between June and September, 2014, Mr Dolarian received $8,618, 647.00 in wire transfers facilitated by Mr Dasuki through the Central Bank of Nigeria and First Bank. Court documents said Mr Dolarian through his business partner, Myron Smith, received a $4,998,647.00 from Hong Kong-based SK-Sawki Limited, owned by Mr Aboubakar’s friend. The arms dealer received the remaining $3.6 million from Mr Aboubakar’s company also paid into Mr Smith’s account. Mr Dasuki was at the centre of a multibillion-dollar arms purchase scandal that rocked Nigeria in 2015 and 2016. He was held in custody for more than four years, with the Buhari regime releasing him only in December 2019 after disobeying several court orders to free the Sokoto prince. Prosecutors said Mr Aboubakar’s partner in Hong Kong received about $20 million in two wire transfers from the Nigerian government. The first wire transfer was on May 28, 2014, and the second entered on June 9, 2014. Prosecutors subsequently revealed that Mr Aboubakar had received $20 million for the arms deal from Nigeria, but only paid $8.6 million to Mr Dolarian for supplies. Nigerian government officials and security chiefs have long faced allegations of profiting from the decade-long war on Boko Haram. Court documents said the transactions showed how Mr Dolarian, his allies and businesses violated the Arms Export Control Act, describing their activities as “specifically unlawful.” Consequently, all identified proceeds would be forfeited to the U.S. government. Before U.S. authorities were able to enforce forfeitures, Mr Dolarian had already used part of the $8.6 million for personal expenses and settlement of outstanding taxes. He also bought a 2011 model BMW SUV and transferred the rest to numerous accounts held by him, his wife, his associates, a purported furniture company, amongst others. Out of the $8.6 million Mr Dolarian received from the Nigerian government, the U.S. seized over $6 million that remained in his account as of February 2015. Nigeria did not play any role in the litigation, indicating that the U.S. government will pocket all the $6.1 million recovered. Mr Dolarian now faces up to 20 years in prison and up to $1 million in fines. Mr Aboubakar was declared wanted by the EFCC as part of several controversial arms deals he brokered for Nigeria, but the anti-graft office was unable to apprehend him or file competent charges in court. http://www.signalng.com/insecurity-u-s-seizes-nigerias-6-1-million-as-illegal-arms-contractor-pleads-guilty/ |

He also held that the BPE whose petition the EFCC claimed to be investigating also acted outside their mandate , especially as it regards to the shares of Indoroma Eleme Petrochemical Co-operative Society. He held that the shares remains legally acquired and anyone who feels aggrieved the normal thing to do is to approach the court for redress and not to use the EFCC as a tool for intimidation "The EFCC has the right to investigate but must be seen to do this within the armbit of the Law, EFCC is not a court of law and must not allocate to itself the powers of the court ". Justice Taiwo also said his Court will not shield anyone from investigation but the EFCC must also desist from the act of trying to turn a matter that is purely civil case to a criminal case. Justice Taiwo refused the prayer of the applicants seeking to remove the chairman of EFCC from office over contempt of court , he held that the court lacks the power to do so and as such decline the prayers. But then went further to declare that the matter of shares regarding Indorama Eleme Petrochemical Co-operative Society is purely civil in nature. He gave the EFCC Seven days to write First Bank PLC to lift the ristriction placed on the account and allow access to funds in thier Custody. He also instructed the Bank to immediately honour the judgement when served with the order of the court. He also award a 5million Naira damage against the EFCC for illegally arresting and detaining a member of the Co-operative Society for 5days without a court order. Recall that in February 26,2009 the federal government through the National Council on Privatization had approved the sale of 10% of its equity shares in Indorama Eleme Petrochemicals ltd, Port Harcourt ,Rivers State to the host community and interested staff of Indorama Eleme Petrochemicals ltd. The 10% equity shares was shared as 7.5% was allotted to the host community while the remaining 2.5% was allotted to the Staff of Indoroma Eleme Petrochemicals. Also Recall that the EFCC had placed a restriction on the account of the Co-operative Society claiming to be investigating a fraud , Matter which has led to litigations and the bank refusing to honour the instruction of the Co-operative on the order of the EFCC. https://premiumnewsnigeria.com/2021/09/21/indoroma-eleme-petrochemical-co-operative-society-federal-high-court-berates-efcc-ordered-restriction-on-account-vacated/

The Convener Got Your Back Nigeria ,Prof Chris Mustapha Nwaokobia Jnr ,has called on Nigerians to rise above sentiment and fake news as it regards to kogi state governor. Prof Chris in a press statement said governor Yahaya Bello is doing his best to transform Kogi state. The statement reads: "Is the young man that superintend the State of Kogi from the Lugard House in Lokoja one of the best performing Governors in Nigeria, today? The answer is YES in caps. Is his watch over Kogi uneventful and mediocre? The answer is a NO in caps. So you wonder why he courts the flak of political opponents like ants and honey. Don't bother too much, they criticize him, they oppose him, and they lie against him and the State of Kogi because he doesn't belong to the cult of egocentric and self serving political operators. He has done, and is yet doing great things in Kogi". "Have you wondered why lately there is an uncanny desperation to de-robe Kogi State of her deserving feat as the safest State in the North and the second safest State in the whole of Nigeria? It is about the politics of 2023. It is about the wickedness of selfish politicians and the ungodly quest for power by all means devious, foul, impish and impious. But do not despair just yet because the Security agencies in Kogi are compiling the names of the agent provocateurs and their sponsors, and shall as always bring them to book. Yahaya Bello has kept that promise several times over, and regarding the contrived jailbreak a few days ago, tell the rumour mill that almost all the fleeing convicts are back in custody. And tell them that we are watching". "If they are not contriving violence, they are sponsoring falsehood in the media. If they are not procuring and sponsoring violence, they are lying and paying the media to build mountains out of mole hills. And if they are not lying about salaries that have since been cleared, they are sponsoring mendacity in the media about corruption and monies allegedly fixed in Banks, tales most unfounded and demonic. How more confused and wicked can they be? But their lies, won't stick". "Against Kogi State and Yahaya Bello is a growing hoard of soulless lie mongering, rumour churning, falsehood growing, deceit cultivating, blackmail dishing and tale feasting political hirelings, their brief is satanic and wicked. But then again their lies won't stick because we are ready, willing and able to puncture their devious script with the bludgeoning fervency of TRUTH". "The truth is that Kogi State under the watch of the 46years old Technocrat in Lugard House fondly called GYB, Governor Yahaya Bello is the safest State in the North, and the second safest State in Nigeria, and adjudged so by all available Security Index locally and internationally". "The truth is that Kogi State is the most gender sensitive State in Nigeria, with the longest serving female Secretary to State Government in Nigeria, with mind blowing minimums like females as Local Government Council Deputies in all the Local Governments where men serve as Chairmen, with females as Speakers of all the Local Government Council Legislatures, with the only Female ADC to a Governor in Nigeria, and the highest number of women in any State Government (cabinet) in Nigeria. Kogi State surely stands out as a manifest example of what governance and leadership must be". "The truth is that Kogi State tops the chart in the servicing and cutting down of local debts. The Accountant and Auditor cum Governor of Kogi State Yahaya Bello has clearly excelled in the management of the States resources such that beyond the effective running of the State, he has been able to service and also reduce the local debts of the State. So tell the liars and the peddlers of falsehood against GYB that their lies won't stick, and that the truth shall always prevail over falsehood". "The truth is that Kogi is not owing her workers, and Kogi State is not owing Medical Doctors and Health worker at all. We shall therefore consistently debunk the perfidy and the chicanery of political jobbers and their pay masters, yes their lies won't stick, as Kogi will consistently remain a question mark on their conscience, nay on our collective conscience". "The truth is that Lokoja the capital of Kogi State is presently one of the fastest growing cities in Africa. Do your research and avoid the blinding deceit of blackmailers and haters who wonder at the capacity and the competency cum magic of the magician called Governor Yahaya Bello GYB". "The truth is that in Kogi State under GYB's watch is one of the most functional Rice mills in Nigeria. In Kogi State is the biggest health facility in West Africa over 60% done. In Kogi State today is one of the most effective Skill Acquisition programs in Nigeria, and that Kogi State is one of the best agriculture friendly State in today's Nigeria. So when you hear the lies of the conscienceless political operators out there, confront them with the unequivocal truths that we put before you". "We shall continue to point out the lies that they trade against GYB whilst putting the records straight. And we shall not relent in meeting their falsehood with the unwavering and redemptive force of TRUTH". "We shall continue to drum up and consistently raise the phenomenal Youth called GYB as the bastion of the new deal for Nigeria come 2023. And we shall relentlessly call our nation to the politics of ideas and policy rather than falsehood and mudslinging. God Bless Nigeria". The legacies of late multi-billionaire businessman and politician, Pastor Keniebi Okoko (1978 – 2020), is set to be curated and made public via a memorial microsite that will be launched in October. A product of prestigious citadels of learning including the University of Port Harcourt, Carleton University Canada and Harvard Business Law, Okoko shone brilliantly in the business world, where he rose to quick prominence in the Oil and Gas sector, before venturing into the volatile political space in 2019, driven by a desire to make Nigerians wealthier and erase the poverty mindset of the masses. Before his untimely demise at 42, Okoko made an unprecedented and significant impact in the socio-political space of the tumultuous Niger Delta, specifically in Bayelsa where he hailed from and aspired unsuccessfully but remarkably, to be the youngest governor of the state in 2019. Okoko was known for promoting education, empowering youths and the less privileged in the society; and had bright chances of victory at the gubernatorial polls, as a community and bridge builder that he was, if he had not lost the party primaries. The memorial microsite which is being put up by his family and friends, is expected to serve as an inspiration to many, particularly youths and will feature the many impacts he made in the short space of time that he lived. Other features of the website www.kenniebiokoko.com include current testimonials from beneficiaries of his empowerment programmes, his plans for the state as an aspiring governor, his philosophies of life as captured in his many public appearances and speeches among other short documentaries.
