Politics › Re: CBN Defends Naira With 11.25 Billion Dollars (throwback) by abhosts(m): 9:24am On Feb 16, 2024
Defending the Naira is not a father christmas activity. Naira revenue generated from the sale of forex still returns to government coffers to pay for other domestic expenditure.
Business › Re: Naira Trades 1,498/$ At Official Market, CBN Tackles Racketeers by abhosts(m): 8:16am On Feb 16, 2024
CBN sold dollar to banks @ ₦1490 but turns around to complain when parallel market rate fell from ₦1500 to ₦1620 shortly after. If they wanted parallel rate to remain ₦1500, they should have provided dollar to banks at a much lower price.
Politics › Re: UK Economy Enters Recession by abhosts(m):
The Conservatives deserve any blame that comes their way. They lied to the UK public that leaving the EU would turn the UK into an economic powerhouse but the opposite has been the reality. Young voters saw through their BS and voted overwhelmingly to stay in the EU but older voters over 65 voted overwhelmingly to leave the EU. This proves that wisdom does not necessarily come with age.
Politics › Re: Stop Referring To Daniel Bwala As My Aide, Atiku Tells Nigerians by abhosts(m): 5:38pm On Feb 13, 2024
Atiku should leave the stage while there is still some little ovation. He should nominate a competent northerner to be Obi's vice in the next election. All his boyz like Bwala and Reno have moved on, so should he.
Business › Re: Dollar Hits All-time Low, Crosses N1,500 At Official Market by abhosts(m):
Who exactly is benefiting from an ever falling Naira? What kind of cruelty is this? In 2019, a friend of mine based in the US invested $200,000(N72,000,000 at that time) into Nigerian real estate. Now his investment is valued at about N200,000,000($135,000). Despite the fact that his naira investment tripled in value, it was still not worth it from a dollar perspective. He is now regretting his decision because he would have been better off just leaving his $200k in the bank when you consider it is now worth 32 percent less. This is an example of foreign investor they claim to be courting.

Sports › Re: The Bitter Lesson Nigeria Afcon Loss Has Taught Me by abhosts(m): 12:40am On Feb 13, 2024
Nigerians are like the UK that hype themselves by claiming football is coming back home when they reach knockout stage of world cup. After Too much noise and bragging, it is pretty normal that others Africans would mock Nigeria when they fall short.
Business › Re: Naira Crashes To N1,534 Against US Dollar At Foreign Market by abhosts(m): 12:28am On Feb 13, 2024
Many of Nigerians currently complaining about rising cost of living are mostly purchasing goods merchants bought when dollar was ₦1200. They have not seen anything yet.
Education › Re: Is This Fee Not Outrageous? (UNICAL Med Lab 4th Year) by abhosts(m): 7:29pm On Feb 12, 2024
They removed subsidy with the promise that it would free up funds for things like education. Public university education has skyrocketed in cost despite all the lies, so what exactly are Nigerians benefiting from subsidy savings?
Sports › Re: Iwobi Deletes All Pictures On Instagram Account Amid Criticisms by abhosts(m): 6:53pm On Feb 12, 2024
This is so unfair. People like Iwobi Play for country out of patriotism not money. He deserves a pat on the back for his effort. People wey no sabi anything about football dey expect cup but we wey sabi small know say anything above quarter-final was a plus for the current crop of players.
Travel › Re: Trending Video Of Ivorian Super Highways (Photos) by abhosts(m): 4:08pm On Feb 12, 2024
If you look closely, you would realise that Tinubu built Ivory Coast.

Honlucas:
This statement just show you have nothing upstairs.
Before Buhari left he already sign the removal of subsidy since 2022 to be effective May , June last year
I don't blame you. How can I expect an oluwole/quota system graduate like you to know the meaning of a Supplementary Budget? Who told you that a new president must be bound by budget provisions or constraints of his predecessor even in the same fiscal year? Arguing with dullards like you can make somebody lose IQ points.
Politics › Re: Where Is The Food From The Reserves Tinubu Promised. by abhosts(m): 12:19am On Feb 12, 2024
The food reserves are as real as APC student loan. In normal countries, the process of releasing reserves is very plain and transparent to the entire public. If the government has released grains, they should let the public know where their subsidized grains can be purchased or is government grain going to be the same price with costly grains?
Politics › Re: Tinubu's Bad Luck Activated by abhosts(m): 12:11am On Feb 12, 2024
Ivory Coast outplayed Nigeria. It would have been bad luck for the Ivorians if they lost the game.
Politics › Re: Obasanjo's Letter to President Tinubu. by abhosts(m):
There would be no such letter because everyone already knows OBJs stance regarding Tinubu. Leave the baba to enjoy his retirement. Obasanjo might have been bad at politics, but he was a damn good administrator in comparison to all that have come after him.

Calm down and appreciate your team. How many Nigerians thought they would go this far when the tournament started?
Politics › Re: Blame Buhari Not Tinubu For Economic Hardship, Sanusi Tells Nigerians by abhosts(m):
datola:
Subsidy had to go! Paying subsidy with over piling up debts. Do you know the implicationhuh

The same thing with exchange rate. Ask any economist. Tinubu took the only reasonable decisions

Even, Okonjo Iwaela was sounding warnings during Jonathan Era that Nigeria was living on borrowed rope.

Tinubu had to stop all that for the greater future.

We just must brace up for now!

Dollar might continue to rise against Naira because we are not earning shishi from our only major earner, crude oil because we had sold all for this year in liue of loan used to pay subsidy and defend Naira that made the likes Tunde Saibu, the former recharge carde seller muliti billionaire.
You paid hacks talk as if Nigeria was founded under APC. Are you aware that Presidents that oversaw booming economic periods like Obasanjo and Yar'Adua were also under pressure to devalue the Naira and remove subsidy? Yar'Adua refused outright while Obasanjo only adopted a gradual and staggered approach to remove fuel subsidy. Why was Tinubu so eager to devalue the official Naira rate by 220 percent and remove subsidy at the same time if he is not evil incarnate? No problem. Since you are doing the work of satan by calling evil good and cool, explain to hungry Nigerians that their suffering is in their best interest.
Politics › Re: Blame Buhari Not Tinubu For Economic Hardship, Sanusi Tells Nigerians by abhosts(m):
So it is Buhari that removed petrol subsidy and devalued official naira rate from N450 to N1450 against dollar? Besides, in the past when I argued that Buhari was bad for Nigeria, the same Emilokan bots maintained that Buhuri was the second coming of Mandela and the greatest leader on earth. Are they now disowning their former Messiah?

LOL. Black man go carry religion for head pass the original owners of the religion.
Politics › Re: Hunger In The Land: Top Economists Hand To-do-list To Tinubu by abhosts(m):
Suggestions that could actually ease the suffering of the masses? Very funny and hilarious to think the demons in government would even consider such. They are only interested in activities that can increase IGR. Tell them to increase VAT rate from 7 to percent 50 percent and see how quickly it would be seriously considered.
Politics › Re: Inflation In Car Prices - Then Vs Now - 2million Vs 15million To Buy A Yaris by abhosts(m): 8:11pm On Feb 10, 2024
Import duty has increased drastically under demonic APC so a $10,000 car would cost you over N30m after shipping and clearing.
Politics › Re: If Jonathan Runs For 2027 Presidency Will You Vote Him? by abhosts(m): 6:40pm On Feb 10, 2024
Some people just love to reward incompetence. There would be no APC if not for Jonathan's weakness and indecisiveness. If you really want to fix Nigeria, you need to be forward looking and stop dwelling in the past. This kind of thinking brought back Buhari that had no business being a President in the 21st century.

Politics › Re: A Bag Of Cement Is 10,000 Naira. by abhosts(m): 3:52pm On Feb 09, 2024
Buy it in peace. The excess profits made would be used to provide you with breathable air.

It didn't have to get to this if not for dummy Nigerians voting for anything APC over the years. You fed the monster that has now matured but you don't like the outcome.

If they charged you for insurance, it means you have a running loan with them which is normal. They will be charging you for insurance quarterly.
Don't make assumptions when referring to someone you don't know. I operate multiple businesses with 10s of billions in annual revenue. I have never taken any loan, overdraft or credit facility with Access Bank.
Business › Re: Customer Leads Peaceful Protest To Access Bank Mushin Branch Over Unauthorised E by abhosts(m): 1:39pm On Feb 09, 2024
As a Corporate Account customer of Access Bank, I have been noticing strange deductions recently. The other day I saw a deduction on N2500 for insurance I never signed up for, and on another occasion I saw that account maintenance fee was deducted twice for the same month.

Seem as if Nigerian Banks are getting 'creative' in the current APC economy.
Politics › Re: Are There Saboteurs Working Against This Current Administration? by abhosts(m):
There is no sabotage anywhere. When any country is gravitating towards any major policy shift, some would be right while others would be wrong after full implementation of the policy. Sowore and the SDP Presidential candidate both predicted that removing fuel subsidy would be a mistake of historical proportions while Obi, Atiku and Tinubu sided with the IMF inspired policy of subsidy removal. The IMF believe that poor countries that always approach them with begging bowls are overindulging their poor masses by providing cheap fuel so they put out lots of propaganda demonizing subsidy. It is like someone who wears Gucci and Fendi going to borrow money from someone that wears okrika. Their citizens pay a lot for fuel so it miffs them to see citizens of poor borrower nations buying cheap fuel.

Now, the verdict is in and all Nigerians have seen first hand those who were correct and those who were wrong. Removal of fuel subsidy has decimated the middle class and enlarged the poverty pool by all measures. Beware of the delusional supporters of other candidates that would say subsidy removal would have had a different outcome with the candidate they supported. It is a lie.

Politics › Re: Dangote Refinery Crude Import From US will Increase Prices Of Petroleum Products by abhosts(m):
I remember warning Nigerians never to allow subsidy be removed but them no gree hear word. According to the zombie supporters of Obi, Tinubu and Atiku, the savings from subsidy would be used to transform Nigeria to Dubai. In furtherance of their hallucinations, they said dangote refinery would bring down cost of petrol because shipping expenses would be eradicated. What many ignorant Nigerians fail to realize is that subsidy is a far cheaper option based on our current economic reality. How do you know that? If the FG is to restore the standard of living for Nigerians to the level it was before removing subsidy, it would cost far more than has been saved from subsidy removal. Before subsidy removal 30,000 minimum wage was still a bit reasonable, but now anything below 80,000 minimum wage cannot be sufficient. Can subsidy savings be enough for FG to afford paying 80,000 minimum wage?

Only Sowore and the SDP presidential candidate were pro-subsidy and had a heart for the masses in the last presidential elections. The others were IMF puppets.

Now here is a major difference between White societies and primitive black monkeys. In white societies people like Sowore that were correct in their diagnosis of subsidy would win seats in parliament in next elections but blacks would still continue to support candidates that were wrong. They are unrepentant and stubbornly tribal even to their own detriment.
Politics › Re: Point Out Any Business Reno Omokri Has In Nigeria & Win $200 Cash! by abhosts(m): 1:37am On Feb 05, 2024
Most motivational speakers make their money by being motivational speakers. Take them seriously at your own peril. People like Reno would go broke if Atiku stops running for president every 4 years.

Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. If the governor is with Seyi, there is not much this guy can do because Nigerian courts are now a joke.
