When someone tells you who they are, believe them. He promised to continue with Buhari's legacy but you guys doubted and expected a Mandela.

Politics › Re: Why Can't Africa Be One Country With Free Movement by abhosts(m): 7:12am On Jan 31, 2024
People pretending they don't know that black on black racism is 100 times worse than the racism of whites towards blacks. Blacks in African countries like South Africa and Seychelles hate fellow black Africans more than they hate the devil.
Politics › Re: A Dumb Economist And His 6000 Followers by abhosts(m): 12:58am On Jan 31, 2024
Reno is a glorified rabble-rouser who lacks actual substance. So based on his logic, Nigerians with investments in other countries should not repatriate profits back to Nigeria after certain periods. They should simply leave their profits in the overseas countries of investment forever. So investors are now father Christmas? If the Nigerian government makes this their official stance, which foreign investor would be crazy enough to bring their hard earned money to Nigeria?

Furthermore, GLO is not a publicly traded company so they are not obligated to reveal much about their financial structure. How sure is Reno that 100 percent of their revenue stays in Nigeria?
Politics › Re: See David Hundeyin's 2023 Prediction About Dangote Refinery That Just Came True by abhosts(m): 12:24am On Jan 31, 2024
Dangote refinery is Dangote's refinery and not Nigeria's refinery. APC did a very good job in hoodwinking the Nigerian public into believing they had a stake in its outcome.

aderadio1:
Dollar was never 220/1 during GEJ.
Although I follow castigate him but know I know better.

Pounds was 245/250 all through his regime so dollar can't be 220. Naira then was around 150/180 per dollar.
Yes it was 220. Here is a campaign poster critical of Jonathan when dollar hit 216 before the 2015 elections.

Politics › How CBN Can Crash Dollar by abhosts(op): 6:21pm On Jan 30, 2024
I went to a BDC to buy dollar today and observed the BDC staff were monitoring the rates on Binance P2P website. The rate they sold me dollars was within a 2 Naira margin of the going rate on Binance P2P. I later went on Binace P2P and noticed that liquidity was very low on the platform. The Naira could lose N100 to USDT but trading volume within that period could be as low as $50,000. If Binance P2P is the de-facto indicator of dollar rate in the parallel market, I thing it is time for the CBN to intervene there.

If the CBN can float 5 merchant accounts on Binance P2P and provide them liquidity of $5m weekly, the price of USDT would easily crash to about N1,200(or lower) and stay there in the short term.
Politics › Re: Why Do People HATE Ibadan? by abhosts(m): 5:59pm On Jan 30, 2024
An overwhelming majority of students that go to the University of Ibadan from other states can't wait for graduation so they can leave. Go figure.
Politics › Re: 1 USD Dollar Equals 15,791.55 Indonesian Rupiah by abhosts(m):
Government of propaganda is always on overdrive to deceive and confuse. They would urinate on you but send their lackeys to convince you that it is raining.

Exchange rate is not the sole metric that you use to judge the vibrancy of an economy. A Major gauge on any economy is the median salary of workers in that economy. The average annual salary of the Indonesian worker is 140 Million Indonesian Rupiah which is equivalent to $10,000USD while the median annual salary for graduates in Nigeria is N3,000,000 or $2,100. That means the average Indonesian employee earns about N14,000,000 annually. Please answer this simple question, is their economy not far better than that of Nigeria despite a weaker currency? Is N14,000,000 the average annual salary of workers in Nigeria?
Politics › Re: Buhari Foresaw What Would Happen To The Naira And The Economy If He Devalued by abhosts(m): 1:49pm On Jan 30, 2024

2015 ₦220 = $1

Buhari is no hero so stop trying to make him one.

Business › Re: Dangote Refinery To Import Crude Oil From The United States by abhosts(m):
The CBN gave tens of billions of dollars to dangote at cheap official rate with the expectation that it would save the country foreign exchange in return. If dangote wanted to import crude at global prices to for his refinery, he should have built the refinery with funds from oversees investors and not with cheap CBN dollars.

Let's remember that the CBN was turning down FX requests from other Nigerian companies to fulfill dangote's FX demands thus leading to skyrocketing prices because the others could only get FX from the black market

If stewing in hate and bigotry makes you feel better about yourself, please continue. I have been to 103 countries of the world and hold multiple citizenship, so i cannot afford to be hateful like you because it would be considered unacceptable by standards of civilized societies that I have an affinity with.
Christianity Etc › Re: Africans Are Special Case When It Comes To LGBT Because Of Their Culture - Pope by abhosts(m): 10:22am On Jan 29, 2024
ABBANETSOLUTION:
It's not about poverty. It's the fact that this is against nature. Sodom and Gomorrah is not in Africa but God greatly abhor Sodom and Gomorrah practices. How can there be a procreation when people are not sexually heterogenous?
I am a Catholic and has vowed to die a Catholic but this doesn't take out the fact that homosexuality is against God's perfect creation. I expect the next pope to reverse this decision.
God bless the holy Roman Catholic Church
So if indeed hatred towards marginalized people was holiness and God's will, why is Africa so poor and wretched? Why are your fellow Africans fasting and praying to get visa to become dishwashers in 'sodom and gomora'?
Christianity Etc › Re: Africans Are Special Case When It Comes To LGBT Because Of Their Culture - Pope by abhosts(m):
Poor people usually have archaic cultural practices that stifles free expression and tolerance. That is how their evil leaders keep them in captivity. Just look at how they are demonizing Peter Obi's son who has wronged no one, neither did he break any UK law.

As a person of faith myself, I believe in live and let live. It should not be by force for everyone to share my values and religious beliefs. I would also want my religious rights and freedoms to be respected when i find myself in liberal countries that now have a palpable disdain towards organized religion.

If I am to make a guess, I think this clown is trying to extort money from MTN. His assertions are baseless because a significant stake in MTN Nigeria is now owned by Nigerians and not South Africans.

Crime › Re: Government Should Leave Yahoo Boys Alone - Elderly Nigerian Man Says (Video) by abhosts(m):
Useless agbaya elder. Saying yahoo is sustaining the Nigerian economy is crass ignorance. Nigerian Cocoa farmers alone export hundreds of millions of dollars worth of Cocoa yearly and it is legitimate a business. Even foodstuff exporters bring in more money than accursed Yahoo criminals.

Look at this clown blaming government for the Yahoo epidemic. Do yahoo boys stop scamming when they find themselves in wealthy countries with massive legitimate job opportunities? A thief is a thief. Stop justifying criminality.

Yahoo is a net negative to Nigeria because more has been lost in economic opportunities due to the bad reputation yahoo boys have given Nigerians. Have you seen how Nigerian Freelancers are discriminated against?

Politics › Re: Firsthand Review And Experience Of The New Passport Online Application Platform by abhosts(m): 12:15am On Jan 25, 2024
I think the new minister is a typical example of i-too-know and oversabi. The old system just needed a few tweaks like opening more biometric capture outlets in major cities to decongest existing ones, and making passport booklets available in massive quantities. The guy is doing a very shoddy job while the corrupt Press keeps hyping him.
Politics › Re: Why Didn't Ogun State Develop Despite Being Closest To Lagos? by abhosts(m): 4:14pm On Jan 24, 2024
That would be assuming that all parts of Lagos are prosperous. Areas like Makoko and Agegunle are worse off in comparison to some parts in Ogun.

Haiti is 1700km from the United States but still poorer than many countries in Africa.
Politics › Re: Relocation Of CBN: There'll Be Consequences If Tinubu Doesn't Reverse - Ndume by abhosts(m): 12:48pm On Jan 24, 2024
Bla bla bla. You political amateurs are thinking 2027 while Tinubu is thinking 2031 and beyond. If God or Nature do not interfere, Tinubu would turn Nigeria to his personal fiefdom as long as he exists. The Nigeria you once knew is gone.

Tinubu is now Nigeria and Nigeria is now Tinubu.
