Politics / Re: If Another Election Comes, I'll Still Vote Tinubu – Seyi Law by abhosts(m): 7:22pm On Feb 18
LOL. Can you imagine what this guy would have been saying if Obi was President and Igbos stood by him even when the country is in tatters? By then they would start forming intellectuals that have higher IQ than Einstein. Anyway, I have seen this guy in different functions over the years and he is not a good person in real life, so his opinion does not surprise me.

The only people I know still supporting Tinubu are those who get their bread and butter from politics or have benefactors who do.

May you not see tissue paper to take care of yourself & family.

Amen.

You that is defending cruelty and evil of APC Day and Night on the internet would suffer the everlasting wrath of Jehovah God. Bookmark this message, you wild animal.

How can you float a currency that nobody outside Nigeria wants? Even the CFA has more demand than the Naira in West Africa. Can Tissue paper be floated?

Nigerians are funny.Tinubu's non performance is now spiritual? This is a good excuse for students that fail exams from now henceforth. They should simply blame their failure on spiritual forces.
Career / Re: BUA (abdulsamad Rabiu) Increases Salary By 50% by abhosts(m): 10:44pm On Feb 17
Big businesses rarely lose. They would simply pass the cost burden over to the customers. Let us see if APC mob would accuse cement companies of hoarding.

To be sincere, I think continued attacks on a 90 year old is misplaced. How many Nigerians take their 90 year old relatives seriously? The prof is obviously senile and no longer in full control of his faculties.

Politics / Re: Why Tinubu Carries Heavier Burden Than Buhari – Osinbajo’s Ex-aide by abhosts(m): 10:47am On Feb 17
Obasanjo that took over from the military never blamed his predecessor.

Yar'Adua never blamed his predecessor.

Jonathan never blamed his predecessor.

Buhari spent his whole 8 years in office blaming his predecessor and PDP.

Tinubu is already blaming Buhari for his hasty and poor thought out policies.

Politics / Re: Unpopular Opinion: Only Lazy Youths Complain Of Unemployment! by abhosts(m): 6:42pm On Feb 16
If your theory is correct, how do those same 'lazy youths' easily find jobs that can pay their bills when they relocate abroad? Within the past 6 months, I personally know 5 small business owners that have closed down their businesses and relocated abroad, due to the current economic climate in Nigeria.

Politics / Re: CBN Defends Naira With 11.25 Billion Dollars (throwback) by abhosts(m): 9:24am On Feb 16
Defending the Naira is not a father christmas activity. Naira revenue generated from the sale of forex still returns to government coffers to pay for other domestic expenditure.
Business / Re: Naira Trades 1,498/$ At Official Market, CBN Tackles Racketeers by abhosts(m): 8:16am On Feb 16
CBN sold dollar to banks @ ₦1490 but turns around to complain when parallel market rate fell from ₦1500 to ₦1620 shortly after. If they wanted parallel rate to remain ₦1500, they should have provided dollar to banks at a much lower price.

Politics / Re: UK Economy Enters Recession by abhosts(m): 10:17am On Feb 15
The Conservatives deserve any blame that comes their way. They lied to the UK public that leaving the EU would turn the UK into an economic powerhouse but the opposite has been the reality. Young voters saw through their BS and voted overwhelmingly to stay in the EU but older voters over 65 voted overwhelmingly to leave the EU. This proves that wisdom does not necessarily come with age.

Atiku should leave the stage while there is still some little ovation. He should nominate a competent northerner to be Obi's vice in the next election. All his boyz like Bwala and Reno have moved on, so should he.

Business / Re: Dollar Hits All-time Low, Crosses N1,500 At Official Market by abhosts(m): 10:39am On Feb 13
Who exactly is benefiting from an ever falling Naira? What kind of cruelty is this? In 2019, a friend of mine based in the US invested $200,000(N72,000,000 at that time) into Nigerian real estate. Now his investment is valued at about N200,000,000($135,000). Despite the fact that his naira investment tripled in value, it was still not worth it from a dollar perspective. He is now regretting his decision because he would have been better off just leaving his $200k in the bank when you consider it is now worth 32 percent less. This is an example of foreign investor they claim to be courting.

Nigerians are like the UK that hype themselves by claiming football is coming back home when they reach knockout stage of world cup. After Too much noise and bragging, it is pretty normal that others Africans would mock Nigeria when they fall short.

They removed subsidy with the promise that it would free up funds for things like education. Public university education has skyrocketed in cost despite all the lies, so what exactly are Nigerians benefiting from subsidy savings?

This statement just show you have nothing upstairs.
Before Buhari left he already sign the removal of subsidy since 2022 to be effective May , June last year

I don't blame you. How can I expect an oluwole/quota system graduate like you to know the meaning of a Supplementary Budget? Who told you that a new president must be bound by budget provisions or constraints of his predecessor even in the same fiscal year? Arguing with dullards like you can make somebody lose IQ points.
Politics / Re: Where Is The Food From The Reserves Tinubu Promised. by abhosts(m): 12:19am On Feb 12
The food reserves are as real as APC student loan. In normal countries, the process of releasing reserves is very plain and transparent to the entire public. If the government has released grains, they should let the public know where their subsidized grains can be purchased or is government grain going to be the same price with costly grains?

Politics / Re: Obasanjo's Letter to President Tinubu. by abhosts(m): 12:08am On Feb 12
There would be no such letter because everyone already knows OBJs stance regarding Tinubu. Leave the baba to enjoy his retirement. Obasanjo might have been bad at politics, but he was a damn good administrator in comparison to all that have come after him.

Subsidy had to go! Paying subsidy with over piling up debts. Do you know the implication

The same thing with exchange rate. Ask any economist. Tinubu took the only reasonable decisions

Even, Okonjo Iwaela was sounding warnings during Jonathan Era that Nigeria was living on borrowed rope.

Tinubu had to stop all that for the greater future.

We just must brace up for now!

Dollar might continue to rise against Naira because we are not earning shishi from our only major earner, crude oil because we had sold all for this year in liue of loan used to pay subsidy and defend Naira that made the likes Tunde Saibu, the former recharge carde seller muliti billionaire.

You paid hacks talk as if Nigeria was founded under APC. Are you aware that Presidents that oversaw booming economic periods like Obasanjo and Yar'Adua were also under pressure to devalue the Naira and remove subsidy? Yar'Adua refused outright while Obasanjo only adopted a gradual and staggered approach to remove fuel subsidy. Why was Tinubu so eager to devalue the official Naira rate by 220 percent and remove subsidy at the same time if he is not evil incarnate? No problem. Since you are doing the work of satan by calling evil good and cool, explain to hungry Nigerians that their suffering is in their best interest.
