Thanks for your input hunee, RSA E-visa wan be like Canada study permit but we go crack am..LOL

hunee:
I think it is important this information is put out. Do not be in the attitude of uploading documents you do not scan especially for visa applications. Always ensure your documents are scanned and tagged appropriately. You can create a folder for all your scanned documents in your email. Please let this be a norm.

There is also a scanner called, camscanner . You can get it from playstore.
Above all be sure all your documents are very clear and not blur.

Goodluck all

General Information for everyone

The BMA will always look for a way to reject visas, so do not give them slight opportunity.
TravelRe: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Abigbo: 4:18pm On Sep 04, 2023
Please hunee can you explain a little bit more, don't understand Please.
Thank you
hunee:

TravelRe: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Abigbo: 3:57pm On Aug 28, 2023
This is crazy, the rate of rejections and accompanying reason is really ridiculous.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Abigbo: 12:43pm On Aug 27, 2023
Try St Clair College
zubizareta:
Apart from private colleges, which colleges offering programs eligible for pgwp can one apply with only WAEC for ordinary post secondary high school diploma??
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Abigbo: 9:29am On Aug 26, 2023
The key to that is to apply early
shanny001:
Is it wise to apply to highly competitive/oversubscribed programs in Canadian colleges as an international applicant? Is there anyone here who applied for these kind of programs and got admission?
TravelRe: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Abigbo: 8:52pm On Aug 24, 2023
Its really sad what they are doing..
destinedtee:
For the second application, we uploaded additional documents to ensure they consider us... They still rejected the application citing invalid bank statement even after getting a reference letter. A colleague of my wife was rejected due to yellow fever certificate expiry or something like that. She didn't attach reference letter to her bank statement and they didn't say anything about that.

It just seems they are intentionally denying people

It is well
TravelRe: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Abigbo: 7:24pm On Aug 24, 2023
Na wa o. What is going on with the SouthAfrican E-visa?.
Even with a reference letter, do they derive special joy in denying applicants ?.
Please @ hunee, any insights to give?
destinedtee:
We sent a mail to them today and it was resolved today as well.

They rejected the application giving INVALID BANK STATEMENT as reason. We got a reference letter from the bank but they still rejected the application.

It is well

U're welcome
kc6964:
Wow thanks so much , I almost lose hope . Thanks for this vital information
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Abigbo: 3:57pm On Aug 20, 2023
Check online, the waec certificate access portal.
You have to pay 7500 for access to your certificate if u're in Nigeria or 30 dollars for international based applicants.
Then 5000 to share it or 20 dollars for international based applicants. You share it via documents at nscc.ca email address as stated on the school website.
kc6964:
Good morning, please how can someone send waec results directly from waec to school. Or those who got admission in NSCC , how do you send your original waec results directly from waec to the school?

Any information on how I can go about it

TravelRe: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Abigbo: 11:44am On Aug 17, 2023
Nice, at least it means that e- visa works.
Planning to come spend my xmas in Capetown this year.
Can you please outline a draft of your personal statement
ayantola01:
Hi folks, just to update for those in similar shoes:
1) my e-visa is out - today Thursday 17th
2) applied on Tuesday, the 8th (night) . So basically it took 7 working days/1 week and 1 day
Used DHA
3) you really may not need police report , if you’re going on visitors less than 3 months.
I used th following docs:
1) flight itinerary
2) passport
3) hotel booking
4) conference invite letter
5) personal introduction letter
6) 3 months bank statements
7) confirmation of employment letter
8. 3 months payslip
9) past visas and current residence permit in the UK
10) submitted yellow fever card but don’t think it’s relevant (it’s expired and I’m not travelling through a yellow fever region anyways). Just added it in case

Best of luck to everyone else.

Its free, just that it comes in 30 days.
StanOyiga72:
Thank you so much. I'll use this method. Seems you're not certain if it's for free though.
TravelRe: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Abigbo: 11:15am On Aug 10, 2023
Please apply for your E visa with the necessary documents online
OsiEnterprise4:
The person said no E-visa at the moment, that is what I do not understand, because I called VFS, they did not mention anything of such, so I have to also come here, to hear from different people before I start application
TravelRe: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Abigbo: 10:34am On Aug 10, 2023
When you say not going through please what do you mean in particular?
OsiEnterprise4:
Hello house, I was told, E-visa is not going through at the moment, please how true is this, is there any one who has applied recently? I await your response, thanks

Just submitted yesterday though, I don't know how fast I can get a response, I actually need it fast.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Abigbo: 8:10pm On Aug 05, 2023
Ok wasn't aware of that but if it's cambrian that one is 100% agent, but there are other schools in Ontario you can try.
Just go through OCAS and look for colleges that do what u're looking for.
Ontario colleges seem more welcoming to international students
zubizareta:
Thanks. Tried applying for Fanshawe for someone and was told to use their Nigeria registered agents
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Abigbo: 7:46pm On Aug 05, 2023
No they don't.
You have to apply through OCAS though.
Go throughthe ocas site, there are lots of colleges with their specific program requirements in terms of subject like maths, chemistry and so on.
Then as for the agent stuff, i think it's just cambrian college that does this.

Another thing to note though, sometimes for mature applicants applying for diploma if the study gap year is quite high, admission may not be given.
zubizareta:
These Ontario colleges all need their Nigeria agents to apply for admission there right??
TravelRe: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Abigbo: 5:37pm On Aug 05, 2023
Any update on your application?
ifeoluwasegun:
Yeahp, though I just uploaded my data page there so I could pass and submit.
TravelRe: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Abigbo: 8:37pm On Aug 04, 2023
Really?
ifeoluwasegun:
Hi everyone
I'm applying for the e-visa and I saw Police clearance certificate as a requirement to upload for visit visa.

Is it important to provide it? And how long do they give response?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Abigbo: 5:17am On Aug 01, 2023
Use the ATIP website to request for the gcms notes. It takes about 30 days to get a response
sammyfrance23:
Hello everyone
Please how can I order for GCMS notes from Canada for someone in Nigeria
TravelRe: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Abigbo: 11:08am On Jul 26, 2023
You're the trashy one bitching on every thread that doesn't concern you. , justifying xenophobia and ill treatment of people.
Same measure your ancestors got during apartheid.
Nigerians and Nigerian men are the vibe.
YOU don't have a monopoly on migration,
Nigerians will come and go where they please including your motherland and YOU can do nothing!
When you see Nigerians on the streets today going about their thing, remember my earlier advice to hug a transformer. So long dearie, keeep stewing in your hate that's only going to get your blood pressure to the roof
Lionessza6:
LMFAO@looking at how to mingle with trash. Don't insult me, I only come to your forum to correct your whining when it comes to issues involving my home country. So I guess all Nigerians are trash then ? cheesy. You keep on repeating the samething, no new points or anything , you must be real trash lol.

Like I said, we can stomach your trash, and we hope that you too will stop bytching about your maltreatment or xenophobia ** . As you make your bed be prepared to lie on it. I guess we're done now, unless you still want to copy and paste your earlier posts as a reply ?
TravelRe: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Abigbo: 10:27am On Jul 26, 2023
You're here on a Nigerian platform venting out your bile and bitterness still looking for how to mingle with "trash" as you said. I've seen your post...mas^turb**ating on every thread where Nigerian visa issues are discussed and going on and on about Nigerians and Nigerian men. I won't tell you to leave nahhh, stay here with Nigerians, enjoy the vibe you get if not why else are you still here with the people you claim to despise yet if u've not checked daily posts to type out your bitterness, your day won't be made. You'll get the good, the bad and the ugly because that's what the world is made of and Nigerians are no exception.
We make waves for good and for bad unfortunately, you can't deny the fact. Your being here is a testament to that fact!
So I'm sure you're going to see a whole lot of Nigerians today on south african streets both the bad and the good ones, you can scream all you want but they will be there and you can do nothing about it, or better still hug the nearest transformer!
Lionessza6:
What other word or term would you use that's better than human trash to define scum that kidnaps and drugs children or bring destruction to a community? Hardworker?. You're right that as an individual or individual community we cannot stop you from exporting us your filth to us but you must also accept that you cannot stop our reaction to that and discrimination/stigmatisation and brutality that will be directed at the Nigerian community as a whole. So no more crying bitterly about xenophobia** as well. Let's all carry our crosses and keep it moving then.
TravelRe: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Abigbo: 9:26pm On Jul 25, 2023
Like i said, you don't have the monopoly of where Nigerians can and can't go.
This human trash as you said...will always be in every country in the world including South Africa. Both good and bad people making waves as their individual personality allows them.
And there's nothing you can do about it other than getting angry and bitter.
I do not support evil but honey, evil is part of life cuz it makes you appreciate the good wherever you find it.
Lionessza6:
Continue with that attitude as more doors keep on closing on your faces , all we want is for your human trash to stop coming here, we don't have a problem with skilled professionals, the rest should find elsewhere to go and " work hard". Other countries can welcome you in numbers if they wish to, but we both know that it won't be long before they too join the numbers of countries who are becoming more strict to you guys or codedly banning you . But that's your business , mine is that you go and make those
waves ** far away from us.
TravelRe: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Abigbo: 1:31pm On Jul 25, 2023
There's no need to be so bitter about this, when one door closes another will open.
You don't have the monopoly of where nigerians can and cant go.
Well meaning Nigerians are still doing the best they can and making waves all over the world.
Lionessza6:
@ Sharone21 come and read here you . Words from an actual sane human who has the ability to self critic , and not always play the victim card even though it's pretty clear that your desperate Japa culture is causing you a lot of problems in many different countries.

@ the poster. Unfortunately your countrymen will resent you for saying the things you said up there, what you should have said to get their attention:
" South African home affairs is xenophobic , they hate us because we are better than them , blah blah " grin. Owning up to why Nigerians are forever singled out in different countries is not something they're ready to face.

As for the free movement of people, I think that's just a fantasy(even from well-meaning people), it sounds nice on paper and when it's preached by fat politicians, but it would be a disaster for the Southern and Northen parts of the continent ( Pan africanists will hate this part grin ) .That can only work only when others force their own governments to prioritise the most basic; healthcare , education, human rights and other basic infrastructure like roads and access to running water etc. We pay huge taxes for these to work. These I believe are some of the things that attract migrants to South Africa and them. South Africa isn't perfect either , it has a mountain of its own problems but South Africans aren't the type who take pride in burdening outsiders or strangers for pity ; peaceful and stable countries like Botswana and Namibia can attest to that. I just wonder why so many of your people behave like hooligans in other people's countries , and wonder why the host communities treat them like garbage ? cry. We don't seek to live in Nigeria, and we don't want you to bring Nigeria here. If you know that you cannot adapt to a new way of living why move out of Nigeria to go and recreate Nigeria in somebody else's home? Nigerians in Hillbrow kidnap and shyt in street corners where humans should be walking ....and you expect us to clap our hands whilst you turn our communities into mini Lagoses. These are grown ass man squatting in fckn public....for what ?

All countries have hooligans but your country seems to be fond of exporting them to other societies before grooming them to be good guests or ambassadors of their own nation. If you don't change that ,your passport will keep getting more worthless and well- meaning Nigerians will keep on getting unfair treatment ( because others readily assume they're uncouth and criminally minded or coming at them with evil intentions).......and its human nature for one to try and protect their homes from perceived wickedness. Western countries like Canada and Australia made smart decisions by making their tourists visas difficult and only allowing in the best of the Nigerian society . The countries that were lenient * brotherly * like South Africa, Tanzania, Asian countries etc learnt a hard lesson (Nigerians think nice and welcoming people are weak and stupid and therefore will provoke you till you snap and treat them as they are treated back home, so that they'll have something to wail about just as they do in Nigeria)....its like you guys have this need to be hateful or hated everywhere you go......or you just can't live in a functional or non- chaotic environment. More visa bans will fall on your heads and I sincerely wish the SA government will frustrate you guys more. I feel sorry for the real intending tourists but atleast other countries like Kenya and them are still lenient to you guys so you have those options but I hear that the everyday citizens aren't so fond of you either.......... cry

Wow, this is sad o..South Africans and their visa wahala no be here. Its still your money u're coming to spend o
Atinukemi23:
Looking like they are on mission to just punish some of us.

I applied on the 12th with a certified bank statements and PDF clearer version there was no problem they rejected because of yellow certificates.

Re applied following week with the same bank certified statements and recent re downloaded statements to show closing balance with enough sufficient Fund and business accounts all certified and yellow certificates.

Now they rejected that the bank statements are invalid.
Their e visa service is really really poor.
Be like say dem go hold their visa na my money I won go spend.
I am re routing to another country.
Good luck Everyone.

Single traveller
080bjaked:
Single traveller or couple?
That's a little less than 40k Rands so it should be good for a single traveller on 2 weeks hol if flight cost is out of it actually.

Honestly, I think it depends on the official reviewing the application, some are just sadists cheesy

Good luck.
TravelRe: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Abigbo: 9:01pm On Jul 22, 2023
Thanks for the update boss
hunee:
I just thought i should add this here quickly, for those of you applying fresh for SA visa, Please get a reference letter from your bank, signed and delivered to merge with your bank statement for upload. Do not upload the bank statement alone.

Please take note. You can get a reference letter from your bank, just go and request for it. It is simple.

Department, Home Affairs has been rejecting alot of visas lately because they feel the SOA are adulterated.
