Fall 2022 resumes around August, 2022 and I doubt you’ll even be attended to at the embassy because the 120days rules will only begin to count starting from April.

You could have just deferred you admission to spring 2022 which resumes on January 2022 and will request for an EA 60days to your school start date. Even without requesting for the EA, dates will come up for you to reschedule, dates in Nov/Dec has been popping up once in a while since last month.

So even if your school sends you the fall 2022 I-20 today, you still won’t meet the 120days rule since fall semester resumes on August. It means you will have to reschedule to April upwards

Thanks a lot for your advice, I actually deferred to Fall 2022 instead of spring because of the difficulty in getting an interview date, I was trying to play safe

Just reschedule your appointment to a date that falls within the 120days timeframe. You should have deferred to Spring session instead of Fall,2022.
Check the reschedule option and look out for any date in May. The school would send the I-20 before that time.

Good morning everyone. I got denied on the 18th of this month ( Tuesday), sad actually and I cried so much but we moveee lol. Anyways I’m trying to defer my admission to spring and also get another interview date for later, I paid another MRV fee this morning but at the point of rescheduling I was asked if I have been previously denied and I responded and immediately “ sorry there are no dates available popped up “ and I couldn’t proceed.

Please what’s the process of getting a new date
after a denial, or do I have to give it more time, and please is it advisable to to have my interview at the same interview that I was denied.

Please I need help on this.

I actually forgot to add that my former appointment was cancelled. I got admitted to Bleep and my program will commence on August 23. I plan to travel on XXXX to help me settle in before my class starts. then i attached my I-20 and Sevis fee receipt

I had to pay a new fee yesterday night, due to consideration for time, as my appointment was cancelled on the 28th. I applied for emergency immediately same yesterday night, it was approved this morning and i was able to get August 10

Please how did you go about this, when you applied for the emergency appointment yesterday night, did you state it to then that your initial date which was 28th of July was cancelled . Please what was the reason you stated for the emergency, like the exact content of the message you gave them. My date was also cancelled and I’m also trying to get a new date.

I wasn’t intentionally mean to the writer and I’m sorry if it feels like that. I’m only trying to make him/her realize the importance of waiting patiently. You shouldn’t be too desperate about the US Visa and there is nothing anyone can do about their decisions.

Lol. What agreement do you have with the US and the Embassy?? Again, it is a privilege not a right; that’s why you can’t petition the decision or whatever they do to your application. All you have to do is to be patient and wait until a date creeps in for you. If it doesn’t work for you this Fall, defer your admission to next Spring. Your aggression and rant can only complicate issues for you.

Me: where I work at the moment, **** Construction. The Research and Development department has just been opened, I interviewed for a position in the department and I was recommended, all that is left is to get the minimum requirements of an msc. The position triples my current pay. In the long term, I plan to start my own construction firm, where I will focus majorly on "Digital Construction".

Go to the DS160 access site. Fill in your details (location and Confirmation number) Simply select “Retrieve An Application”, then “create a new application”.

You’d be able to access the old DS160. Just that this time, you’d get a new *Confirmation Number*. Make the necessary adjustments and submit when you’re sure you’re done. Then proceed to the CGIfederal website, login and navigate to

“Update Profile”

Erase your old confirmation number and replace it with the new one

Hello everyone, i have been a silent reader and i am glad to be here. please I need help on this I have filled my ds160 and i pick Lagos for my interview, but i haven't scheduled any appointment yet because I'm yet to get a favorable date, now I want to pick a date in Abuja and probably request for an emergency date. What do i need to do too since my ds160 has Lagos on the confirmation page. I'm really confused on what to do about that. I'm I suppose to fill a new ds 160 page or how do I go about that.
