It's not a bush dog, it is called a Raccoon!
No, it's not called a raccoon. It's called a civet, African civet to be precise. Google 'civet' and see.

LiteratureRe: The Best Books You Have Ever Read!!! by abionaalli(m): 8:25pm On Oct 15, 2015
Interesting thread. There are so many books that I've read which qualify as best books I've read. I'm only going to list the ones I can think of off the top of my head so this list is by no means exhaustive. Here they are in no particular order except the first:

-The Bible
-Created For Love by John and Agnes Sturt

-The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis
-And The Shofar Blew by Francine Rivers
-The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
-The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas
-Barsoom Series of books by Edgar Rice Burroughs
- The Harry Potter series of books by J. K. Rowling

Guys, I don't know what's happening to my playstore : Whenever I try downloading big sized games such as asphalt 8 or Nova 3, it gives me error message once it reaches 99%
I've cleared playstore cache in the settings yet the problem persists
I've experienced this before. The problem was that kit Kat was not allowing large apps access the phone's memory. I changed Default write disk (set the default memory) to SD card and that solved the problem.

PhonesRe: Before You Critize The Phantom 5,read This Please by abionaalli(m):
I agree with majority of commenters that the tecno phantom 5 is overpriced; I played with it at one of the shops in computer village.

While I will readily admit that it has great cameras and full HD screen (the 3GB RAM is no big deal, 2GB RAM is now pretty much standard on an android phone and the additional 1GB cannot cost more than an additional 3k), I have serious reservations about the processor. I don't understand why it's clocked at only 1.3GHz. If anybody has Antutu or other benchmark scores for it they should please share.

Tecno has to convince buyers that they are offering good value for money or infinix will continue increasing the ever increasing gap between them. Infinix hot notes are still flying off the shelves because of good value and now they've added the hot 2 which also promises fantastic value for money.

Tecno fans should correct me if I'm wrong but so far this year tecno has not released any phone that's been a major hit. Infinix has released at least 2 phones (or is it 4?) that were bona fide hits: the hot note pro and the hot 2.

I feel tecno should have priced the phantom 5 at no more than 57k which was the price at which the phantom z debuted on the market.
PhonesRe: Dream Big with Infinix Alpha! by abionaalli(m): 7:30pm On Aug 30, 2013
The main thing that makes it better than the tecno phantom a+ is the 16GB of storage versus the tecno's 1GB. For me, it's 5.7 inch screen is not really better than the 5 inch screen on the tecno because both screens have the same resolution. In summary, I'll say it's a good phone but it's too expensive at 48k.
PhonesRe: Android, Anyone? by abionaalli(m): 7:50pm On Feb 15, 2011
i'm a bit worried for Nokia. why go with only wp7 when they can continue with meego, as well as adopt android? so what happens if it they dont succeed? after-all, htc produces windows phones alongside their android phones and they are a very successful company. it would look like nokia is running away from competition but i say that is what will make them stronger. i have my doubts about the success of wp7 cos i think microsoft came late to the party but like has been earlier said only time will tell.

ComputersRe: Starcomms Izap - Is It Really Fast As Starcomms Claim? by abionaalli(m): 5:31pm On Aug 22, 2010
@all
looks like there's some confusion regarding download speeds. download (and upload speed) is written in different ways: either kbps( kilobits per second) or KB/sec (kilobytes per second). KB/sec may also be written as KB/s. the important thing is note whether the b is in capital letter or in small letter
b is bit(s)
B is byte(s)
and
1 byte = 8 bits
therefore 400Kbps=50KB/s for example
also it can be seen in the screenshot

i just thought i should clarify that

1.9Mbps!
that's simply not fair! i hit 2.1Mbps once but nowadays its only about 275Kbps most of the time
ComputersRe: Starcomms Izap - Is It Really Fast As Starcomms Claim? by abionaalli(m): 4:50pm On Sep 16, 2008
by and by its not as fast as they claim. compared to developed countries starcomms and other isps are robbing us blind. i'm not sure i remember correctly but in japan, they pay 90dollars a month for a 100mbps connection. with that kind of connection, you will stream 12 dvd quality videos at the same time without buffering or breaks. and the 90 dollars is considerably less than the 16k you'll be paying starcomms monthly.
