I think Visa delay mostly has to do with our Nigerian Issued documents. I read on the German website that Nigerian documents do not automatically carry verification so they have to be independently legalized and verified. So if there’s a delay in verifying your documents. (School transcripts for example) then it results in delay.

Bro for visa interview it is not a must that u must come with your school transcripts........so i dont think any independent verification is done dat much.......d only tin they do check is our Waec with the scratch card and ur ist degree cert.....if they want to b verifying lots of docs u nor no say them for day ask us to day pay some money as they do to people going for family reunion....my thought shall.

I got my Am 4weeks after my interview, sent my SL 5 weeks after my Am( due to some unforeseen circumstances of course and not that I wanted to test the embassy). I waited for 2 weeks and 2 days to get my visum and before then I was troubled thinking that I am in trouble for submitting late.. Out of that fear, my friend visited the foreign office in my city to check if the delay was from them and guess what " they didn't receive anything from Nigeria embassy for verification " you know I used to ask myself a lot of questions about this SL verification of a thing " shebi na the same people wey issue SL you de return back the SL they issued for them to verify?? " it sounds funny but then the woman my friend met told him that any German embassy has a machine to detect a fake or original SL. Their is a seal on it that a fake one ( or what have you) does not carry..So to be honest I came to realize from my experience that whether BA or SL your Visa is highly dependent on the Visa Officer ( VO) with your file and not any state your SL comes from. If you doubt it ask yourself why some folks with BA are the still complaining about delay in issuing their Visa.. Why not Automatic issuing of Visa to BA guys? It takes absolutely nothing to verify from fintiba or any other bank one used but then we hear of different stories..I encourage everyone of you to pray hard and take necessary actions when time comes but I assure that 97% of Visa delay is from Lagos and not your City.. I went to the embassy 1 week after submitting my Am as God may have it my VO stepped out and with Paulinus's permission I rushed her and she went inside checked my file and told me it wasn't Ready my friend went to Allien office they said the last time the embassy communicated with them concerning my case was the date I got my AM so that the next message they are expecting from the embassy is that they have issued my Visa not any SL document..97% of our Visa process happens in Lagos so I encourage everyone of you to play your part and leave the rest to God every other story will not do you any good.. The truth is everybody will have one story or the other when it comes to SL......i used SL last year.....did interview with it......my cousin who is a nurse in DE did it for me......after a month when i saw that guys that did interview with me has all gotten their Am.....i wrote my Alien office.....no reply.......i had to call my cousin to ask her if she did recieve any mail from anywhere regarding my visa......and she told me that the alien office in the city i was going to ask her to submit some document which as at that time she could not provide them due to the fact that she has just lost her Job.....the alien office told her if she fails to reply them within a month that they will communicate back to the embassy what they like......and by this time my enrollment date was already at hand......called my school for extension so i could switch to BA but they said they will nt and dat due to the capacity of the course i was to go and study that they dont extend....i ask them wat abt defer...they said no and dat i will have to apply again come winter.......weytin man go do....i had to withdraw my application on the ground that i cannt meet up with enrollment......so to me....it depend on the state.......germany states alien office run their tins differently..........if the money day i will always advise go 4 BA......if no money Use SL........na so i c am ooo.

After the interview she set maths question for me..I was surprise to see maths question meanwhile I no sabi maths at all..as na sociology I study..
As I see maths question something draw me from my yash to my brain....abeg my people as I no sabi the maths how far is my chance to get the visum...?

Yes u can upload it on same page...just ensure that the sec cert is the 1st doc u upload.....however i doubt if the letter from you HOD will b enough i will advise u use Toefl or IELTS.......two of my friends dat use English proficiency letter was rejected.......but there is no harm in giving it a try......all the best.

Here's what I think about the whole visa appointment kerfuffle. Anyone with an admission letter belongs to Category A. Because it involves fulfilling at least one of many criteria and one criterion is this:



Category B is just for hopeful candidates still waiting on admission and are, to the German consulate, not fully committed yet. That's why it's clearly stated that Category B will be given an appointment date 2 to 3 months before the date.

The only reason that the Category A currently seems to require a scholarship is probably because they are now only dealing with summer 2019 applicants who have scholarships and ignoring everyone else. In the old system, appointment requests by students with scholarships are usually honored even after visa appointments are no longer available.
Perhaps when the time is right (probably July, like someone was told by email recently, or earlier if they change their minds) then Category A will have options for everyone and u might probably need to show proofs of admission before being able to book though.

Anyway, this is just a conjecture. In the end until we get an unequivocal statement from a veritable authority, we can only continue to speculate.

What wil u say abt this my friend that has scholarship..but here is what he was told same tin with B people......guys pls B carefull ooooo....this people day find who them won give problem oo....may that not b our lot in Jesus name.Amen

Good day my canadian family, please i need advise from everyone, i want to apply to schools in canada through school, but am using an agent because i dont really know how it been done, but the agent is telling me that i will have to pay tuition fee and make some other payment like that. But my question now is this after paying the fees like he said and apply for my visa, will the embassy be able to confirm if i really made those payment and also verify if my admission is real because i no that US Embassy does not....so i dont want somebody to come and wack my papa money ooooo...i need advise oo...hoping to hear from everyone.

Gud am gurus in the house...please if I want to certify my document at the embassy, how many days does it take them to do it, do i need to go there with my originals and leave it with them. Do i need to book for appointment, how much do they certify document per page.

Gurus in the house abeg I need una advise o...my cousin that did my SL for me said she recieved a letter from the alien office that her office need to sign one form and also her landlord need to sign another. And b4 now she lost her job but recently got another one, but she is on probation and they said they won't sign the form. Can the father place of work sign the form...if not what can i do...so so worried.
