The Emir of Mubi, HRH Alhaji Isah Abubakar, has advised the All Progressives Congress (APC) to stop deceiving the electorates if it wants to excel.
The first class Emir said this when he played host to the entourage of APC acting chairman in Adamawa, Ibrahim Bilal, who visited him as part of his tour of the 21 Local Governments in the state.

Isah said that if APC works with God-fearing and qualified people irrespective of religion, gender and status, the country will witness tremendous growth.

“I’m a Father to all of you here. If cannot tell you the truth, I’m not a good father. Do what your electorates wants you to do, that is what democracy is about.”

The monarch advised party officials to stop imposing candidates on the electorates as it could have a bad effects on the people and governance in Nigeria.

He called for peaceful co-existence among APC members, saying only such will unite the party.

The Emir said APC will only stand the test of time if it is fair to all and sundry without any favor of tribe, ethnicity or religion.

Earlier, Ibrahim explained that his visit was to seek royal blessings and prayers for APC to succeed in Adamawa and the country at large.

Bilal also told the Emir that he and his delegation were going round to fraternise with party officials in all the 21 LGAs so that the APC will be more united to face future challenges.​

I have this friend whom I never had plans of dating when we met but we got close. I went out with her to see a friend, though she believed so much in me which usually makes her to seek my decision for anything. ‎

On this Faithful night, I was with her in a friend's place whom I usually let my girls sleep over his place or let them have fun with him. When the guy (James- not real name) saw her he was practically all over her and eventually invited her inside but before she went in she was looking at me for a rejection sign or reaction but I did nothing. 

After about 30mins she came out of the room with the guy (James) only for her to tell me she had slept with the guy that she would not have if I told her what I was up to. I felt sad but did not confront the guy because we were close. From that moment it dawn on me that I was loving this same girl (Anita -not real name).

James was not interested in a relationship with Anita because he was already married. Now my challenge is that I have not slept with her but we seem to be both in love. Even her parents are known to me well and I desire to marry her but the thought of my friend (James) haven slept with her which ofcourse he will play a good role in my wedding kills me silently.

Do I still go ahead and propose to her since we are now dating or she won't be a wife material?

The truth is that James is not aware yet we are now dating, Anita tells me everything and has long apologised. 

What should I do? Do I go ahead with her or should I seek someone else?

I love Anita, I believe Anita loves me, James is my pal whom I believe will feel guilty if he finds out he actually slept with a girl I finally wish to marry,

With the existing religious over-zealousness in Nigeria becoming a pastor and designating oneself a man of God seems to be the easiest way to attract gullible ladies.

The sustained untold hardship caused by visionless and callous leaders has over the years had it toll on the mental proficiency of a lot of Nigerians so much that they know longer think and have a deep assessment of whatever any pastor say but would briskly oblige them.

As a pastor in Nigeria, I can just wake up and tell a gullible follower that his/her poor uncle in the village is responsible for their life predicament and without thinking they would make enmity with the poor man.

I can tell that your best friend is responsible for your inability to make significant progress in life and viola best friends becomes enemies.

These bandits who parade themselves as men of God are the number one problem in the country, even ahead of the larceny politicians. For a better and productive society Nigerian Christians must learn not to absolve whatever these thieves in the pulpit say and make an independent assessment of their deceptive sermon.
