E.g is the CLAIM for BREACH OF CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT and/or UNLAWFUL DISMISSAL or for UNPAID ARREARS OF SALARY or BONUSES or other ENTITLEMENTS ?

Knowing the actual CLAIM would determine the Process to be filed in Court as well as RELIEFS to be sought thereby.

Your lawyer should know what to do in the appropriate circumstance.

The case is about unlawful termination of appointment. They advertised the vacancy, we applied, they shortlisted us and conducted an interview, successful candidates were called, did documentation and assumed duty. We were barely four months into the job when we woke up with a circular on the notice board saying that " the governing council has quashed the entire process of the recruitment exercise, therefore all appointments made stands dissolved ". No any reason was given, no any right to fair hearing, no any salary in lieu of notice, nothing nothing.
I guess they have no any reason to give to the court hence the procrastination. And federal government MDA for that matter.

On the next day of adjournment, the defense lawyer is likely to file a motion on notice for extension of time within which to file his statement of defense (after paying penalty to court) but in case he doesn't, your lawyer should file a motion for default judgment based on your claim before the court. We are currently running a legal Case against our former employers ( we are the claimants ). The dependents raised a preliminary objection and lost. Then the presiding judge gave them two weeks to file their statement of defense, the time frame has lapsed yesterday ( Friday ) but the defense counsel couldn't meet up. Please the learned folks what is the implications? Is the court going to deliver a judgement based on the strength of our case or they would be given more time?.

Barack Obama Announces Intention To Run As President Of Kenya In 2021

In a surprise announcement that could upset African politics for years to come, former American President Barack Obama has confirmed this morning his candidacy in the 2021 Kenyan presidential campaign.
Son of a Kenyan senior governmental economist, Barack Hussein Obama Sr., the politician who served as the 44th President of the United States from 2009 to 2017 is actually touring Africa to give a series of conferences.

While visiting the Kenyan port city of Mombasa, he was greeted by a large and extremely enthusiastic crowd, loudly cheering and chanting his name.

Mr. Obama drew an almost ecstatic roar from the crowd when he made the announcement that he was returning to politics.

“I’m a bit disgusted with American politics recently while seeing Kenya struggle. I realized I needed to do something to help my Homeland.”

The former U.S. President believes he can help the country overcome its social and economic problems as he did with the U.S.

“I was able to solve the U.S.’ worse economic crisis in its history and put it on the right track until they elected a narcissistic reality tv star. I can certainly help Kenya.”

Mr. Obama announced that he was launching his own political party, the National Democratic Party of Kenya (NDP) and confirmed he was considering negotiations with existing parties to form a coalition.

Kenya is still struggling with social instability, poverty issues, government corruption, and an important water crisis even if it has recently known a few years of economic growth.

Although its economy enjoys the leading position in eastern and central Africa, 39.9% of its population lives below the poverty line, according to the Oxford Poverty & Human Development Initiative.

To make things worse, the country has been struggling with several economic problems recently, the most recent of which is a huge swarm of locust that destroyed swathes of maize, coffee, vegetable, and tea plantations, threatening the country’s food security.

Several experts believe the former American President’s chances of getting elected are extremely good.

Many analysts also note that the actual government will certainly hesitate to forbid his candidacy or trick the election if it takes place under international scrutiny.

The next Presidential election in Kenya is set for October 2021 and candidates have until April 2021 to confirm their candidacy.

Take time and ponder on this;

1. In the South west, it is only Lagos State that pays minimum wage N35000.
2. In the South East, no state pays new minimum wage.
3. In the South South (with oil money) no single state pays
4. In the North Central none.
5. In the North East Adamawa pays N32.000 new minimum wage, Bauchi N30000
6. In the North West Kano N30,600... Jigawa N30000... Kaduna N30000....Katsina N30000 and Kebbi N30000
NOTE
1. Out of 7 states currently paying the New Minimum wage, 6 are core North.
2. No single south south state is paying.
3. None of The 4 Core oil producing states of Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Delta, Rivers is paying.
4. The 4 oil states of the South have more allocations than the 19 States of the north combined yet 6 States in the North are able pay the new Minimum wage and no state in the South is.
The 6 states paying new minimum wage are all core North....
In summary, Buhari is not our problem...! The citizen of these states criticize, and lambasted the government when the negotiations were on going,...some called it a big shame.
Now, they are not shouting at their state governments....the greatest noise came from the south east and south-south...., now with all the derivatives and allocations....they still cannot pay..!

PMB released the minimum wages to South South governors to pays their workers but yet their Governors keep mute...they'll still tell their followers that PMB wanted to islamized Nigeria or they're marginalized by PMB and North

But if any of your university choices is in Germany, you also have to apply to the DAAD portal.

The power to employ and sack lies entirely with the respective institutions and you will also do your documentation at the poly/ university where you are employed. You don't need to go to Abuja for anything.

Well, i can't say exactly. With 2.1, you are very much qualified, naturally first class holders are preferred but if you can demonstrate your teaching ability and research potentials, you can beat many first class graduates.
