I live in Europe and I can relate your challenges especially that you are a student, may be self funding. Even those of us on full scholarship do not find it easy. I have not been to any other serious countey outside of Africa, where this is done. Its only in Nigeria. Even in China of all places, you can wear a military camo and walk pass a soldier and all they would do is laugh.

In Nigeria and Africa, wearing camouflage is mostly done with a criminal intention. Most of the wearers are impersonating military personnel with a criminal intention to kill, defraud, rape or steal. I guess that is the reason for the crackdown. And this can hardly be done in a civilized world you are referencing.

I think you should have an evidence of atleast €615 per month for your first year, you must have the money in your bank account

we are in the same shoes. I was accepted at my second choice which is Grenoble Alps, I am currently waiting for a decision from my priority choice, which is University of Strasbourg, but I am on scholarship.

oga poverty is everywhere in the country. Majority of the almajiri you see are from Niger Republic. You can assume northerners to be poor due to their humble life style, but most can feed their family of 20+ people for a year from a produce from a single farm.
