Bros nothing like medicine student, we only have medical students when discribing someone studying medicine. In reality it's only those studying medicine are called medical students, it just that we feel if someone is call medical student then he/she superior to others. That's why we have different bodies like medical and dental Council, Nursing council, medical laboratory council etc. Someone studying nursing is a nursing student not medical student just like med lab and others though it doesn't make you interior to medical students.

The name MEDICAL STUDENT doesn't belong to MEDICINE STUDENT it's a name for everyone in MEDICAL SCIENCE, DENTISTRY,ALLIED HEALTH,

so people who are studying MBBS should be called MEDICINE STUDENT they don't own the name MEDICAL STUDENT ok...?

It's acceptable, although it's not easy.
okey boss, though I have seen a lecturer's son who wanted to transfer from Delsu to AAU in 400l but AAU said they can't accept transfer in 400l.

Hey Aboking! If I may ask, what were the reasons for your transfers? They may be pitfalls aspirants and others may avoid.
Cheers to getting it right. What and how much did it cost you?
Edo university is a nice school but only for those who their puckets are full. We were paying 1.5 million per session but it was increased to 2 million and when you get to clinical you will pay clinical fee of 500k amounting up to 2.5 million per yr. It wasn't funny for some of us who have other things to take care of. For the cost of transfer I pay 20k for transcript then I applied for inter university transfer to AAU , when my application was approved I paid transfer fee of 350k to AAU.

PS: I am not a military officer yet but I have BSC
lol before those desperate aspirants will crucify me am not yet a doctor ooo. Yea it is not a difficult process as a medical Dr. After your house job, NYSC you will apply for DSS( direct short service) medical doctors are highly needed in the military.

Good morning sir, I need to talk to you concerning how you went about the NA sponsorship to civil institution. I am a military personnel in Depot NA also a dental surgery aspirant.
I anticipate your reply sir. Thanks
Good morning dear, getting NA sponsorship is not that difficult especially if you are in medical corps, after getting your admission in any of the civil institutions just apply through your unit CO which it will be forwarded to your corp headquarters, once your corps commander approves it you are good to go. By the way your corps and NA pls?

Lol, people like me who want to tarnish your image? Are you for real? You posted something and we are referring to what you yourself posted which I believe was not not posted by you under coercion. How how does quoting your statement amounts to image tarnishing? What do I stand to gain in tarnishing your image? If I had said what you didn't say at all, it'd have been another ballgame. But all these things, you said them yourself and people are referring to you words and now you're here accusing me of tarnishing your image. E be things I swear
just for those who care for my advice. This is just a proof that I'm student of AAU but as for you I don't have time joining issue with you. My letter of sponsorship posted here alone is enough to believe I'm a medical student.

But @aboking "I am" is different from "I was". And as a matter of fact, you said "I'm a medical student of BSU" just about 4 months after, you posted again saying "I'm a medical student of AAU" so this made it hard to have trust in you. At some point you said you started Medical school at age 35, at another point you said you started Medical school at age 37.
my dear maybe I was quick to type im instead of I have. As I said before whether you believe it or not it add no values to me. On this thread I meet someone who help and put me through during my inter university transfer process and the same thread I meet people like you who are out there to tannish people image, it not a new thing.

Getting into the medicine department alone is not just enough in some Unis like mine AAU I'm a first year student in the department and we're 300+ but only nearly 50 get to graduate. It's not that they're dull in fact they're the most serious anywhere. Night classes are always full even on Sundays but fail just one course and you're out. Also there's the pre MBBS exam that 200 level students take after 1 and a half years. That's where they filter the students. Until you pass that exam you're not a medical student sef grin But God's grace that has been keeping my seniors before me will also be with us.
Be focused and forget the number of students in your class, I'm a medical student of AAU too and to be honest with you I enjoy the competition because it makes me go extra miles in my reading. Tell yourself as from today that you are a medical student as you are in first year now, read hard and success will be yours.

Just some days ago, it was disacredited..The implication is that AAU Medical school CAN not graduate her students within the period of disacreditation, so invariably, AAU Medicine is partially accredited.
bros there is different between school having partial accreditation and accreditation been withdrawn

I am not a student of AAU ekpoma but am very sure is because medicine has a partial accreditation that's why is like that what u said is impossible because medlab, nursing in that school has full accreditation ave u gone Tru the course outline of nursing in that school yr one to five u will Kno it can't be compared with any University in Nigeria most nursing students repeat Because of the tough, hectic and bulky nursing curriculum
that's not true, AAU medicine has full accreditation. A partial accredited medical school can't graduate doctors whereas AAU graduated set of doctors this year before school closure

But you can't induct more than your quota. Even if they induct it can be more than a difference of 5.
Imagine UNN inducting 200 or UNIYO inducting 100. I doubt this. As time progresses quota will increase but with time. Nigeria has a huge deficit to fill for Doctors. Thinking they should admit more to cover this deficit but our Teaching hospitals are are a shame.
Have you been to UPTH? SUCH A SHAME.
UNICAL NKO?
AAU?
Quite a shame we lack so much facilities. Even Microscope na wahala . Infact medical students in Nigeria Federal schools are trying because they don't pay as much as their state counterparts. Struggling with wicked lecturers.
What they train medical students has a deficit in practicals.
what dunsin 125 said is true, my school graduate two sets every year

The number of students in 100L MBBS AAU is about 500+.
Nursing students 700+. And MBBS quota is just 50.
That's not true, the present 100l(2019/2020) are not even up to 100 students. A good number of students failed pre mb and are to repeat 200l plus the current 200l now but they are not up to 500 students in 200l. Let try to say what we know.
