Hmmm!

So, you want me to solve labour, land clearing, install everything, manage it, and you come to take % of the profit. You arent even the owner of the land. What stops me from renting one myself?

Well, a farmland is not a residential housing land. Farm land isn't as valuable as you think. If it is valuable, all the families having farmlands will be extremely rich. They hold the land hoping development will reach the area and they can start selling at extreme high price. Unfortunately, most of them grow old in poverty. And their children pick up the useless hope too. What they need is just some bottles of gin and chicken change in evelope to share round other hungry family members. As long as I do not buy the land, I can lease it for 20 years. All I keep doing is paying token yearly. That's all. You just see it is unwise to buy small land area. Most of the land here on NL for N450k per acre are over priced. Trust me, when I say so. If you know how to penetrate into the families, you will get the land at extremely cheap price when you want yo buy. Those guys here are just hustlers. And I think I prefer even buying at N500k or more per acre than someone else rent it and I work on it. The person who give strategic plan is the real owner of the farm/business. Trust me when I say so. You may try it. And I do not argue with owners of land. They always eventually abandon it. Many are here. They rush to buy land and at the end, the land is there wasting. Lol. Some even will be making heavy demands and commanding like gods because they have just acquired a farmland. Lol. Talk to the person 5 years after and you will just laugh. Lol.

I'm not mocking you, just telling you the truth.

Here is a proposal:

1. Rent or buy a farmland of around 10 ha. I may consider 1 ha if it is close to Lagos, and with very good road network.
2. Clear it and remove all stumps. Better to clear it with earth moving machines. And make sure top soil is not damaged.
3. Fix borehole there or use 2 ha near river side. Most of the time, not more than 2 ha can benefit from nearby river. For the rest of the land, be willing to install boreholes at strategic locations. You may need to use a special scientific procedure to know where to drill.
4. Get pumps and pipes with drip irrigation and sprinklers and fix irrigation round the farm.

When you do the above, I know you are serious. Then, leave the rest, and we can both fix people there to farm excellently. But note: I don't go to all farms I manage. I work remotely online. Then, you will can talk.
Funny you, I meant that I would provide money for you to rent farm land in acres (we can start small with 5-10 acres),I would provide the funds for you to sponsor all farming operations as the manager and you take a percentage the profits. In summary, I provide the funds, you provide the expertise and we both smile to the bank. NB: I'm based in the east but would work with you any where that you chose.

One is American and the other is Italian. Still, you cannot just use hand held where you have stumps. If I was to used hand held, I would first pay normal tractor to do first plough. Then use my hand held for finishing......making beds, sowing.....laying mulch....bla bla bla. Otherwise, you will over work your small machine. Of course, having it is invaluable. It will make life so easy. And it is better you learn to use it yourself instead of asking workers use it. They will destroy it in a short time. This is from my experience.

CrimeRe: Gani Adams Is Obstructing Justice - Yoruba Women by abouzaid: 2:40pm On Apr 05, 2021
NwaorguF:
South-West women on Monday accused the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams, of threatening peace and security, obstructing justice, distorting facts and embarking on a campaign of blackmail.

“We will not fold our arms and allow Gani Adams to rubbish the good name and excellent track record Mrs. Ngozi Onadeko has built over the years” the descendants of Oduduwa said.

They also tongue-lashed Adams for his apparent disregard for law.

“ Gani Adams and his co-travellers are behaving like a pack of juveniles. They don’t mean well for this country.”

In a statement in Osogbo, the women praised Onadeko for her extraordinary courage and absolute understanding of security issues in Oyo State.
They accused Adams of pushing the real issues aside and employing sentiments and blackmail to explain the security situation in Oyo State.
The notable South-West women expressed delight and satisfaction with the high degree of determination so far exhibited by Onadeko to address the security challenges in Oyo State.

Signed by the Chairperson of Yoruba Women in Government (YWIG), Chief Fumilayo Adesanwo, the women commended the courage and patriotism of Onadeko to rid Oyo State of kidnappers, arsonists and other criminal elements.
The women underscored the shameful show of power, uncivilized tactics and the rights of citizens.

They condemned the uncouth language, arrogant demeanor and use of brute force by Gani Adams and members of the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC).

“Gani Adams did not put on his thinking garb before calling for the redeployment of the police commissioner. He is misinforming the people.”

Specifically, they took a swipe at the action of the OPC members in Kajola community, Ibarapa North Local Government, describing it as unacceptable.

“The solution does not lie in the use of blackmail or force.”

The women further praised Governor Seyi Makinde for protecting the lives and property of the people of Oyo State
They also urged the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Mohammed Adamu and the Police Service Commission to ignore Gani Adams.

“The South-West people are solidly behind Mrs. Ngozi Onadeko. We are very proud of her. She has given good account of herself in Oyo State” the statement added.

PoliticsBe Sensitive To Our Yearnings, Implement 2014 Confab Outcomes — CAN Tells Buhari by abouzaid(op): 1:20pm On Oct 01, 2020
Reacting, the Christian Association of
Nigeria, CAN, used opportunity of the
60th independence anniversary to
ask President Muhammadu Buhari to
implement the recommendations of
the 2014 national conference to
move the country forward.
In a statement issued yesterday to
commemorate the 60th independence
anniversary of the country, Samson
Ayokunle, National President of CAN,
said: “Our economy is in shambles
and the naira has been devalued
beyond recognition while the masses
are at the receiving end. The cost of
living has gone beyond the reach of
many Nigerians, our youths are
becoming increasingly vulnerable to
criminality in the absence of gainful
employments or job opportunities.

“We urge President Muhammadu
Buhari to immediately sign the
Electoral Bill reform which has been
gathering dust on his table since last
year. Our elections should be free,
fair and credible if we want the
governed and other nations to
respect our political leaders. Trust is
earned, not imposed or enforced.

“Our governments should be
sensitive to the yearnings and the
groaning of the governed. The era of
asking the people to tighten their
belts while those in power are
loosening theirs should stop.
“Both the Federal and State
governments must give a sense of
belonging to all citizens irrespective
of their religious, tribal, and political
persuasions. Lopsided appointments
in favour of one part of the country at
the expense of the other, or in favour
of one religion at the expense of the
other will only deepen the crises in
the polity. This will put pay to those
calling for the balkanisation of the
country.
“We call on the government to revisit
the 2014 National Conference Report
with a view to using it to address
some problems militating against the
peace and unity of the country. We
don’t need another conference if
there is a political will to implement
the report.”

PoliticsNigeria @ 60 Is At The Verge Of Total Collapse – Catholic Bishops by abouzaid(op): 1:01pm On Oct 01, 2020
THE Catholic Bishops’ Conference of
Nigeria (CBCN) yesterday took a look
at the different sectors and wondered
how Nigerians can conveniently
celebrate the 60th independence
anniversary amidst huge borrowings
with colossal interest to be paid
back, and that presently we are
servicing our debt with a significant
revenue of the country.
In an address by Most Rev.
Augustine O. Akubeze, Archbishop of
Benin City and President of the CBCN,
on the occasion of the 60th
Independence Day of Nigeria, the
Catholic Bishops said the rate of
unemployment is growing, and there
seems to be no clear plan to fix the
economy as well as help the private
sector to grow so that many of our
youths can be employed.

“Nigerians from almost all
geographical regions seem to agree
that we need to start working on
restructuring. The present political
party leading Nigeria (APC)
campaigned to attend to the issue of
restructuring, sharing of resources,
and a constitutional amendment if
Nigerians voted them into power.
“It is somewhat regrettable that the
Federal Government of Nigeria has
not kept to its electoral promises.
State Governors, Senators, Federal
House of Representative Members
must all work towards ensuring
restructuring of Nigeria. Nigeria is
almost at the verge of total collapse.”

PoliticsIslamic Group Issues Strong Warning To Oduduwa Republic Agitators by abouzaid(op): 9:05am On Oct 01, 2020
The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC)
has told the protagonists of the
proposed Oduduwa Republic to stop
using fake Islamic organisations to
camouflage as Muslims.
The human rights organization urged
Nigerians to be wary of fake Islamic
groups masquerading and declaring
support for the secessionists.
This was revealed by the Director of
MURIC, Professor Ishaq Akintola, in a
press statement issued on
Wednesday.
“The protagonists of the proposed
Oduduwa Republic are desperate.
Their desperation has reached a
crescendo where they have resorted
to dishonourable actions.
“This should jog the conscience of
honest Nigerians. There is nothing
wrong to have differences and
disagreements. It is also normal to
have ambition. But what is abnormal
and ignoble is to pursue your
ambition by hook or crook.
“Those in the irredentist Oduduwa
Republic camp have descended so
low that they use fake Muslim names
and counterfeit Islamic organisations
to issue statements in order to
confuse Nigerians.
“Their plan is to deceive Nigerians
and the rest of the world into
believing that Yoruba Muslims are
with them in their secession bid.
This is not politics. It is outright
dishonesty. It is not only cowardly,
but ignoble, despicable and
condescending. It should be
condemned by all men and women of
honour.
“Those behind it should be ashamed
of themselves and those still
supporting them should realize by
now that they are being led by the
nose.
“We urge Nigerians and the outside
world to wake up to the antics of
shenanigans masquerading as
leaders of Yoruba self-determination
groups.
“Yorubas are known to have great
qualities of honesty and
transparency. That is why the
average Yoruba man, based on
established Yoruba norms and
values, is proud to be called an
‘Omoluabi’, i.e. a man of honour.
“But the reverse is the case with the
self-acclaimed leaders of the present
Yoruba irredentists. They are another
cup of tea entirely.
“They are prepared to get their
reckless and ill-thought-out ambition
by fair or foul means. Instead of
using superior logic to convince
Nigerians, they tell lies at will to
confuse the gullible. They forge
names and concoct counterfeit
organisations just by snapping their
fingers.
“All these are in an effort to deceive
the public. Our question to them is
very simple: what kind of ‘republic’
do you want to establish with
falsehood? Why must you resort to
deception, lies and false
propaganda? It is sheer mischief,
nothing else.
“This is where Nigerians have to
choose: should we follow liars and
mischief makers or should we queue
behind men of honour and truth? The
devil you know is always better than
the one you do not know. We may
not have gold or silver today, but we
will never deceive you with lies or
half-truths. Unless you are a
certificated gambler, it is too
dangerous to follow liars to terra
incognito.
“The names of fake Islamic groups
like Yoruba Jamatru, Yoruba Islamic
Organisation (YISO) and Yoruba
Muslim Community have been used
to deceive the general public. We
alert the press and the good people
of Nigeria that these are all fake
groups conjured by the secessionist
camp.
“Observers of the religious circle in
the South West will note that notable
Islamic organisations that have been
speaking for Muslims in the region
are the umbrella body for all Islamic
organisations in the zone, the
Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria
(MUSWEN), the Companion, The
Criterion, The Muslim Public Affairs
Centre (MPAC), FOMWAN, NASFAT,
QAREEB, the Muslim Students Society
of Nigeria (MSSN), The Muslim
Congress (TMC), The Ansaruddeen
Society, Nawairudeen Society, MURIC,
the Movement for Islamic Cultural
Affairs (MICA) and a few others
whom space cannot allow us to
mention here.
“Most of these Islamic organisations
have issued statements rejecting the
Oduduwa Republic but the
irredentists want to distort history by
making forged statements using
faceless Islamic organisations.
NEWS: Buhari's PenCom Chairman's
appointment raises dusts in Senate
“This is criminal. We advise
journalists to seek clarification from
MUSWEN whenever any new group
comments on the matter in order to
avoid vicarious liability. MUSWEN is
our umbrella organization in the
South West and all Islamic groups in
the South West are registered under
it.
“We assert clearly, categorically and
unequivocally that none of the so-
called Islamic groups which have
issued statements in support of a
Yoruba Republic are known to us.
“They are fifth columnists created by
the separatists with the aim of
dividing the Yoruba Muslim
community. But they have failed. It is
not an Islamic organization if it is not
an Islamic organization.
“The Yoruba Ummah is one, virile and
indivisible. We therefore charge the
Nigerian press to handle the
Oduduwa Republic matter with
utmost professionalism. The wheat
must be separated from the chaff.
This is not the time for yellow
journalism. Neither is it the time for
sensationalism.
“Statements issued by groups that
are hitherto unknown in Christian,
Muslim and traditional Yoruba circles
should be checked and cross-
checked. Media houses who publish
statements made by fake groups will
be held responsible for such
statements. A certified journalist is
expected to check the source of his
or her information. The press must
take responsibility.
“Those who allow the name of
Yoruba Muslims to be used freely
and irresponsibly will answer to
Yoruba Muslims because we are
going to make sure that we forward
reports of fake statements to the
security agents and legal action will
be taken where necessary. The
sources of those statements will be
traced and all those involved will
have questions to answer. This
society must be sanitized.
“There must be consequences for
irresponsible and mischievous
statements and publications capable
of causing the breakdown of law and
order in the society. Yoruba Muslims
have Allah-given fundamental right to
enjoy freedom from molestation,
harassment, intimidation and
coercion from any quarters. MURIC
will do everything possible within the
laws of the land to guaranty this
right.
“MURIC appeals to Nigerians,
particularly the Yoruba people, to
shine their eyes. These liars and
forgers are advocatus diaboli whose
only desire is to cause chaos in
society.
“The Yoruba say ‘Omo ti o ba puro
yio jale’ i.e. a child that tells lies will
soon start stealing. Those who are
now misleading you with lies will
definitely steal all your money if ever
Oduduwa Republic becomes a fait
accompli.
“They are not to be trusted. They are
making noise today because the tap
from which free naira and dollar used
to flow has been closed. We assure
Nigerians that the agitation will die a
natural death when the man they love
to hate ends his tenure in 2023.
“To cut a long story short, we warn
those agitating for the establishment
of Oduduwa Republic to stop
deceiving Nigerians by using Muslim
names and fake Islamic
organisations to issue statements.
“The Nigerian press has a duty to
ensure that fake and faceless groups
are not allowed to use it to cause
disaffection in the society. Media
houses are advised to publish only
what they can be proud of as
members of the noble profession,” he
said.
