The country is in the hands of a cabal that gains from it's unity, therefore, nothing can ever work. True leaders knows that the entity called Nigeria has never worked, is not working and would never work because of her structural s
deficiency. What we call tribes in Nigeria are full scale nations that should be existing on their own.

*Armed herdsmen invade Enugu community, kill 8, destroy farmlands*

Pregnant woman killed, fetus
removed.

From Fred Ezeh, Abuja
Suspected armed herdsmen invaded
the Mgbuji community in Eha-Amufu,
Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of
Enugu State, and killed eight people,
injured and kidnapped many people,
and also destroyed farmlands.
There are rising fears in the
community that causalities may rise
in the coming days due to the level
of injuries sustained by some of the
villagers who were caught in the
attacks.
A villager, Chinaza Akan, who
witnessed the incident said one of
the casualties was a pregnant woman
who was killed by the armed
herdsmen, her stomach opened and
fetus removed, while some were
people who went for marriage event.
Some villagers told Daily Sun that the
armed herdsmen invaded the
community on Sunday afternoon
through the border they have with the
Benue community and attacked
several farm settlers and other
unlucky people caught in the farm.
The villagers said the attacks have
risen in recent times with massive
casualties, and little or no effort have
been made by the Police or the state
government to end the attacks.
Bishop of Anglican Diocese of Eha-
Amufu, Rt Rev Daniel Nkemjika
Olinya, who confirmed the
development to Daily Sun , painted a
horrible and gory picture of the
inhumane actions of the herdsmen.
He registered his concerns that
herdsmen attacks in farm settlements
in the affected Mgbuji community
and its neighbours have been on the
rise and the government has not
done enough to end the attacks.
‘This is the third time the armed
herdsmen are invading the Mgbuji
community this year, aside from
indiscriminate kidnappings which we
have lost count of. Most of the time,
they invade the community, kidnap
and kill the victims, many of them.
The last attack before this Sunday’s
attack led to the death of six people.
Five of them have not been buried
and, now they came again this time
and killed eight persons,’ he said.
‘Some people said the rising attacks
in the recent time could be linked to
the eviction notice given to the
herdsmen and other conditions of
operation that are, perhaps,
unacceptable to the herdsmen.
‘For instance, some of the people
who were kidnapped and released
recently by the armed herdsmen
stated that the herdsmen insisted
that they would continue their
criminal actions until IPOB leader,
Nnamdi Kanu, drop his agitations for
Biafra.’
Bishop Olinya further confirmed that
the Police came on Monday, 24
hours after the attacks, with the
intention of taking away the corpses,
but the community members resisted
them because they have not released
other corpses in their custody for
burial.
The community members said the
Police asked that they sign
undertaking before they could release
the corpses to the family members
for burial. But the undertaking, as
gathered, was not favourable to the
community, hence they withheld their
signature.
He said that part of the undertaking
was that they would allocate land to
the Fulani people, accept and live
together with them whenever they
return to the community, and that
was unacceptable to the community
members. So, the corpses are still
with the police.
He called on the Enugu government
to take action on these armed
herdsmen.
‘Our people are living in fear and
anxiety. They no longer go to their
farms because these armed
herdsmen have occupied locations
where food are produced for local
consumption and supply to the state.
‘The Anglican Bishop said the state
government is aware of what’s
happening in the community contrary
to the belief that they are unaware,
but the government has deliberately
refused to take strong actions
against the activities of herdsmen.
‘Unfortunately, the state government
had chosen to shift their
responsibilities to members of the
Neighborhood Security Watch Outfit
who are obviously ill-equipped to
confront these armed herdsmen.
Neither modern weapons, logistics,
operational vehicles nor motivations
were provided to enable them to
respond to the attacks.
‘These armed herdsmen rape and kill
our women and men who go to the
farm for one reason or another. The
implication is that there might be a
scarcity of food next year, and that
could be disastrous and have a
significant impact on the economy of
Eha-Amufu and beyond. Imagine that
a basin of garri that used to be sold
at N2,500 has risen to N10,000 to
N12,000. People, unarguably, are
dying of hunger.’
Meanwhile, one of the members of
the neighbourhood watch in the
community who pleaded anonymity
also confirmed the development and
accused the security agents,
particularly the police of championing
the interest of the armed herdsmen.
‘Why would they take custody of the
remains of the victims of the
previous herdsmen attacks, insisting
that the community must sign an
undertaking which, obviously, was
unrealistic and unfavourable to the
community.
‘Police insisted that the community
must provide land for the herdsmen
for habitation which is not possible.
‘These herdsmen are wicked, deadly,
and not people we can live with,’ he
said.

For example to get a blooming npk version, for every 1g of SSP (0:20:0), I used 0.7g of NPK (20:5:10) and 0.5g of MOP(0:0:60).
That's gives 14:25:35 (5:8:12) formula which is very good for tomatoes and pepper family.

For cucumbers, I will increase the NPk to 1g giving 20:25:35 (7:8:12) formula.
I noticed Mydaz RZ F1 cucumbers and Colombia watermelon could even take up to 45g fertlizer per plant at adulthood without a burn. It's impossible on peppers but manageable with tomatoes. Meaning every plants needs are different.

Urea is advised not to be mixed with any other fertlizer before application except you are using it immediately. The only advantage of Urea with the MOPs is the precise formula you can get from the formula as the three fertlizers Urea 46:0:0; SSP 20% 0:20:0 with calcium 18% /Sulphur at 11% and MOP 0:0:60 all have 1 major nutrient.
This is easier formulated than using NPk in the formula.
but the total cost of the fertilizer would be higher than buying an already blended NPK mix?

Nigeria police are thugs and unprofessional. Why ask mr Odigie to hold the gun in his hands? He has already admitted ownership of the weapon. What’s there to prove?

I want to feel sorry for the man but it could’ve gone horribly wrong for the mattress seller and Odigie.
Mattress was sold to Odigie which he paid for but on receipt of the good, he wasn’t happy with the quality. He asked for a refund which the mattress seller refused. This is the problem.

Odigie was enraged and as a Bini boy who probably was a ‘strong man’ way back in the Uni, he got his toy out and went to prove to the mattress seller that he wasn’t someone to be messed with….

Then it went wrong, police intervened thinking that Odigie was one of the ‘robbers who has been terrorising the neighbourhood’ for ages…they must think they caught a cult boy….things changed when they realised that Odigie actually came from the States and he is a medical doctor.

Lucky man, he would’ve been shot ‘mistakenly’…now he would be taken to the station and he would donate a token to the boys, everybody will be happy and he will happily go back to his wife and new born baby..

The loser here is the mattress seller…the idiot should’ve refunded the money…now he will pay more to the police…I can bet my a grand that the mattress seller is ‘my broda’. He should refund the money and make peace….locking his shop and crossing the Niger bridge won’t solve anything..:Odigie can still send some boys after him when he is safe in the US.
oga, go back and read the article again, for once, he never pulled out the gun.

You will get 20 average fruits if you follow the right schedule in open field. The fertlization is twice a month with a minimum of 15g-30g fertlizer per plant. We used npk 20:5:10 with zinc as trace, SSP 20%, MOP 0:0:60 and magnesium sulphate.
I tested this with my colleagues in 50 growbags in Lokoja at the height of the heat in March/May
We mixed the fertlizers according to the stages with a formula for blooming flowers @ 4 weeks after transplanting at npk 20:25:35 with a magnesium sulphate foliar spray of 2grams per litre twice a month.
I believe with a shadenet of 50% UV, you will even get more.
Where do you guys get all these fertilizers? i can't even get NPK 15:15:15 at the local market.
