I just remembered that I paid 30k on Monday into UAE consulate visa fee (Uba) is that it?

Yes biometric fee is the same as visa fee. If you've paid the 30k you are fine. I'd advise you are clear on your questions at their reception before making payments and going for documentations as their things change from time to time.

Hi guys. My company booked etihad airways for me and when I requested for OK to board, they said it wasn't required for etihad airways as per their new travel rules as etihad now confirms it upon check in at the airport.
For those who have flown etihad in recent times, how did you avoid the naija airport officials disturbance on OK to board for etihad.

Fear Nothing Joor, just ensure u have ur OTB and cross check it with the airline u are flying and be sure its Ok, OTB is free in UAE depending on the airline, but in Nigeria its expensive to the tone of 20k or more, just ensure ur bag is not overloaded, and talk less if u are asked much questions just be nice and play with them, nothing to be afraid of, I advise u airticket be booked from UAE and the OTB be done in UAE, so they will just verify it at the airport in Nigeria before u fly out.

Hold an ATM card even if its empty, if for any reason u are asked to show PTA just tell them it is loaded on ur card. But PTA is only asked for tourist visa.

Thanks for the reply bro. What if I have the pta..say 1k dollars with me. Can I show them that or I just tell them I have it loaded in my card. Also is it just any mastercard/visa card?

It's a shame but these guys don't care if you miss your flight.

Please, could you explain why one would need to bleed cash. Am going on employment visa not tourist and flight ticket is catered for by the company.

Secondly simce u send the original to UAE base on it was requested from u, go to Abuja and talk things over with the embassy. Hooe u have a photocopy of the document

Yes I have the copy and the request mails. Would be at the embassy this week. Actually got the job based on a referral. Had to go through the rigorous test and interview processes though. Thanks for your response.

Hi guys, I got a job directly from Nigeria in Abu Dhabi without any agent as I was directly contacted by the company.
The hr requested to do my PCC which I did and got it attested. The attested version at the uae embassy in Nigeria was then asked to be sent to Abu Dhabi so it could be attested by ministry of foreign affairs over there. I sent it via DHL (scanned copy or photocopy was not permitted, only original) and it was used to process my work entry permit.

Now I have to go to the embassy for medicals and visa stamping on my passport and the embassy is requesting I bring the original again..I explained it has been sent to the uae mofa in Abu Dhabi and was used to process my work permit. After much discussion over the phone, I was asked to bring a printed scanned copy along. Any one in the same shoes? If so, how did you get this sorted.
