Warri _Pikin: It does not make sense to be building more white elephant projects which merely serve as a good avenue for corruption.Look am dey beg for foreign investors. DON'T YOU GUYS HAVE ENOUGH MONEY ![]() What ever happened to your so-called Nigerian ingenuity and productiveness? I guess that only comes into play when you're comparing your country to Ghana. |
Please quote amounts in US Dollars or Ghana Cedis so we non-Nigerians can have an idea. All this billions and millions of Naira makes my head spin because I know it's only a few thousand Cedis. ![]() |
wales: Oh Lord, please when will a true and sincere leader leads your beloved country? Why has it because a crime in Nigeria to built a refinery? Why is it that nothing seems to work? Why have we become the laughing stock of the international community? Its a shame and insult on us Nigerians that at this age in time, we still imports petroluem products. Something tells me nobody is in charge as…………… I rest my case!Nigeria jagajaga, everyting scata scata! ![]() |
Revolva: Well that's the hussle but how were they caught - can't they sufr anonymously with correct ip hiding software - were they dumb !!! They bleeped up - wish I was a hacker!!!! I for don hammerIt wasn't the technical side of things that gave them up. It was the human/social angle. Any thief with half a brain would know that when two parties are engaged in a real business transaction, they'd contact each sooner than later to confirm any exchange of monies OR to follow up on an ongoing discussion which ended abruptly. |
Cusubaba: Eric Amoateng, the sitting member of Ghana Parliament for Nkroranza North, Broho Ahafo Region, Ghana. On Sunday, December 11, 2005 was arrested in United States for peddling in Drugs with a street value of US $6 million. Eric Amoateng has been sentenced to 10 years in jail by a United State( US) District court in Brooklyn, New York. Pls just kindly google it.Old news (7 years ago, when the current opposition party was in power). Lame attack. If we have to scour the internet for a list of Nigerian government officials who are drug barons, I'm sure we'd get a list longer than Leo Tolstoy's War and Peace novel (1,500 pages). |
There's another technique called Social Engineering (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_engineering_%28security%29). You or I, can pick up a phone, place a few calls to companies and get sensitive information through deception just like that! When we use those sensitive information to gain access to their computer systems and eventually get caught, we'd be labelled "hackers". These days, that term may have absolutely NOTHING to do with one's computer technical prowess. In the past, say about 20 years ago, a "hacker" was a true computer systems genius and pioneer. |
shymexx: You're not making sense at all... How could they have used keylogger when according to the report, they had no physical access to the PC used by the victims?? - the keyword is "hacking"The word "hacking" is always misused by journalists and the public. When people hear or read the word "hacking" they automatically think a computer expert is involved. If you, for instance, gets the password to your friend's e-mail, logs into his account and gets caught. The title would be "shymexx Hacks into Friend's Email" thereby elevating you to some type of techie genius. Meanwhile, all you did was saw his password taped to his computer monitor. Believe me, it doesn't take much to be labelled as a "hacker" these days. Oh, I don't see where it says the crooks didn't have physical access to at least one computer. |
SmoothLIFE: Ask yourself why Nigeria does not have a good olympic team! This is so because any Nigerian that can run, swim etc etc are already in Ghana!!!!https://www.sherv.net/cm/emo/laughing/laughing-smiley-face.gifhttps://www.sherv.net/cm/emo/laughing/laughing-smiley-face.gif https://www.sherv.net/cm/emo/laughing/roflmao.gifhttps://www.sherv.net/cm/emo/laughing/crying-laughter-smiley-emoticon.gif |
And then there was this ugly Nigerian guy (Igbo looking) sitting next to me at an internet cafe once. I turned around and ask, "what's your name dude?". He paused for a while and replied "Kojo Mensah". I almost died of laughter LOL. No matter how hard you Nigerians try to pass for Ghanaians, we can always detect. |
PetroDolla: Hahahah giant ko, ant ni! LOLROTFLMBAO !!!!! ![]() |
rampant lover: Operation flush nigerians is happening live in Botswana. Hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. IT'S A CURSE TO BE A NIGERIAN.Any time I meet a Nigerian in Ghana or someone I suspect to be Nigerian, I'd always ask politely "where are you from?". You should see the confusion on the faces...hahaha. . Their minds start racing. They're not sure if I'm an investigator or police LOL. |
PetroDolla: Chei, wahala dey ooooh. these apes are in deep sh1t ooooh. bvlls1t country that survives on just oil-- now the journey into the dustbin is going to be faster .Good news indeed. A bunch of self-centered f00ls those anagos are. |
Sisi_Kill: When Ghanaians did thisSo that was worth $13000 and 60 years in Ghana's notorious Nsawam prison? We are not the ones crying. You Igbo uncles are the ones crying because macho Nigerian thieves languishing in our jails will definitely f**K their @sses..LOL. |
shymexx: Tell your country's Armed Forces to stop being cheap and start encrypting their passwords...You know nothing about technology. The article didn't mention how they got the passwords. More than likely, they had physical access to a PC which is being used by a GAF staff. In other words, they broke into a building. Whether it's a GAF facility or a person's home is a guess. Then I'm sure a type of software which is common on the internet known as a "keylogger", which captures keystrokes and emails them to a specified address, could have been installed on the GAF staff's machine. With that software running, the sky was the limit as to what type of information ended up in the crooks' mail box. Encryption wouldn't have helped because, a keylogger records keystrokes BEFORE what was typed gets passed on to other software on the machine (eg. browser). Now, the staff member probably didn't have a good anti-virus on the PC. But even if he/she did, the thieves could have taken it off prior to installing their malware. |
shymexx: How's this different from what anonymous hackers et al do all the time??It's different. Those Nigerian crooks aren't hackers. They are simply con-men who managed to get a couple of passwords to an e-mail account. |
I think you guys are giving those criminals too much credit because the word "hacker" was used. Do you know how easy it is to get a password to an e-mail account? That hardly requires any hacking skills. |
Red-Light: LOL. I almost died laughing. |
Umunede: Papa ajasco won the best comedy TV programme in your country. we run your country from sports to entertainment and everything. cry. there is nothing you can do about it. I am in your country and i know everything going on in your DEBTOR country. i am waiting for you.WTF is "papa ajasco"? Never heard of it..lol. Are you sure you live in Ghana or just hallucinating? I guess you're referring to your sh1tty Nigerian movies as "entertainment". So because Glo sponsored a football league it means Nigeria runs our sports? Okay, in that case, South Korea runs Chelsea FC because of SAMSUNG. You are absolutely retarded. How about Nigeria -- who sponsors your NPL? Let me tell you, NO COMPANY! Coca-Cola pulled out due to the insecurity crisis. They didn't want their brand name to be tarnished. The funny part is, no company is even eager to step in. Why can't your beloved Glo sponsor your league? I don't get it. |
See how these alatafuo dey commit crimes for Ghana with their 419 banks. I tell you, only about TEN Nigerians in Ghana are there for genuine purposes. The rest are a drag on our economy. @ Umunede, there's your award winning UBA in the center of bank fraud. Motto: "UBA -- The choice for Yahoo Yahoos" Two Nigerians arrested for hacking into GAF mails |
*** BREAKING NEWS *** NPP: We are not ready for courtHuh? WTF? ![]() Oh! So, in other words, "We believed we were cheated but we don't have enough evidence." The opposition cried foul, caused unnecessary tension and injuries, disturbed the peace just because... |
If you believe it was rigged, then it was most likely rigged in the Ashanti region against NDC. May be NPP registered a lot of underage people to vote. That could be the only reason NPP thinks it can win the presidency with only a couple of regions. That's a fair assumption, no? |
Umunede: the alleged rigged result indicates that NPP won 2 out of 10 regions. Wot of d unrigged result. Also, it is not about region but about numbers. D alleged rigged result was won by 50.4% but u know as well as I do dat a victory of 49.99% would have lead to 2nd round and anything can happen from thereHow do you know it was rigged? What proof do you have? You can't believe that happened because NPP said so. Where is your evidence? |
Umunede: all these u are saying is story. I am in ghana and I can tell u dat d general belief is dat d election was rigged. Well, no need to argue, d matter is in court. D court will decide but I can assure you that d opposition party have a good case. Y did Afari Gyan d electoral chairman, ran to d US d same nite after announcing d result? He's guilty because he traveled? The president is also guilty because he has left the country? Has the opposition yet produced any proof that the EC (who also refereed the election which the opposition won back in 2000 and 2004) rigged this election? The only way one can become the president of Ghana, by winning only 2 regions (Ashanti and Eastern) out of 10, is either by the gun or by crook. Actually, we can say it's 1.5 regions because they won by a narrow margin in the Eastern Region. |
Umunede: This is just a statement. What do you expect to hear from EC before? The elections 4 years ago (and before that) was refereed by the same EC. The score was closer and that triggered a re-vote. NDC won it. The opposition (headed by the same flag-bearer) won only 2 regions out of 10 and conceded. Fast forward to 2012, four years later. 1) The process was refined and fine-tuned. 2) Biometric verification was introduced to curtail election fraud. This system was even championed by the opposition. 3) Voter awareness and education had risen. Children who are not even of voting age could sing campaign songs word for word. Our sense of civic duty and pride grew. 4) The election was held and the only hiccup was the biometric verification equipment that delayed voting in a few areas. Those affected polling stations could have gone back to manual verification, but they didn't. Looking back, I think that was a good decision. Nevertheless, everyone who really wanted to vote had a chance to do so. The opposition again won only 2 regions out of 10, with a vote deficit of about 300,000 but this time they cry foul. Why? I personally didn't vote for any of the two leading parties, but I felt the election was fair. With the upgrades done to the process, it would be almost impossible for a party to steal 250,000+ votes, without detection while voting was still happening, in order to change the outcome. Bottom line, the winner run a strategic campaign. They even bused some their supporters to the polls in comfortable buses. They had a game plan when they selected their flag-bearer and running mate, and that paid off. Finally, look at the total number of reject votes -- 251,720. Votes are rejected due to any number of reasons. Some ballots weren't filled out. Some have multiple candidates elected. Most of those rejected ballots could have been meant for the opposition. That could have narrowed the gap and triggered a re-vote again, but we'll never know. |
Umunede: Economy of just Lagos state(one state out of 36 plus Abuja FCT) is more than your economy.Yes, and your economy and population are larger than Somalia's, Iraq's and Afghanistan's but those are better places to live than Nigeria. What's your point dvmbfukk? |
The election was fair and transparent. A winner was declared: http://results.ec.gov.gh/ PRESS RELEASE - TRANSMISSION OF ELECTION RESULTS |
Oh Nigerians! This is a typical case of "misery loves company". The opposition party has a lot of seats in parliament. They are not talking about war. They meant making it tough for the president and the leading party to get things done. The US republicans did it to Obama and his party in his first term. Ghana will NEVER sink low like your damn country. Besides, air has blown over this and life is continuing as normal. The general public's opinion of the opposition has started to shift to whiny babies or sore losers. If the opposition continues on that route, it will only mess up their chances even further in 4 years. Isn't democracy great? |
I just bought two pillows from an aboki, got home, took off the nice plastic wrappings and then PERCEIVED a nasty smell, not what i expected of a new product. Became curious, took a razor blade and cut it open. What i saw was undecipherable, pieces of very old and dirty foam. Ouch!!! The Stench. I guess the very old and dirty foam was taken from the dustbin. I am dump-folded. I have just been swindled of my hard earned cash and what about the health hazard posed by such a product. LAGOS BUYERS BEWARE!!! https://www.nairaland.com/1129623/beware-pillows-sellers-lagos-traffic ------------- There goes the word "dirty" and fraudsters all in one story again. PetroDolla, is that the society these azzh0les constantly brag about? |
Red-Light:Indeed, those are lovely names for women, faggotts or transsexuals. |
PetroDolla: I also read somewhere that a nigerian is likely to suffer a mental health crisis as some point in their lives. so don't be surprised to see many mad people here !Looks like Red-Light just suffered a mental breakdown. ![]() |
Red-Light:Iyana, Timaya ... See men names for Naija. |
PetroDolla: why do you think they are so phucked? they are the most phucked up people on earth, and think they are the bestI think the reason is poor education, overpopulation, malnutrition and pollution. I heard they sell vultures as chicken in their country and they actually enjoy it. Every type of meat goes into their "pepper soup" -- even human flesh. Did you know Nigeria is one of the most dirtiest countries on earth? That explains the rise in their vulture population and why they have to make good use of it. |
