Rossikk: I mentioned a lot more things than phones and laptops, such as cars, Suv's trucks, buses, lorries, cement etc. Obviously Ghana is not in Nigeria's league in manufacturing or you would have posted more items.I have NEVER seen a vehicle on any street in any country which was made in Nigeria. The only product synonymous with Nigeria is FRAUD, CRIME and TERRORISM. By the way, we also manufacture cement: GHACEM and DIAMOND. Actually, comparing yourselves to South Africa would be fairer don't you think? Nevertheless, I think Ghana has held pretty against Nigeria and even surpassed her. |
Red-Light:Go sit down somewhere, you illiterate. |

For real. I've now added Reroy Cables, a company owned and managed by a Ghanaian WOMAN: http://www.reroycable.com/ |
Rossikk: Nigeria with 170 million people has done better than you. We manufacture cars, trucks, SUVs, desktop computers and laptops in Nigeria. Heard of INNOSON Motors and Zinox? We are also Africa's largest producer and exporter of cement. Heard of the Dangote Group? What exactly do you produce in Ghana apart from cocoa?RLG Communications: Laptops & Phones MADE IN GHANA http://www.rlgghana.com/ Zepto: LCD TVs, Tablets and Laptops... MADE IN GHANA http://www.zeptoghana.com/ Reroy Cables: Ethernet and Electrical Cables... MADE IN GHANA http://www.reroycable.com/ |
Rossikk: The truth is Ghana, with just 24 million people, should have taken care of all its people by now. Instead they're busy comparing themselves to Naija that has 170 million people to take care of.Au contraire, mon frère, I think you're the one who constantly compare Nigeria to Ghana. |
solomon111: Nigeria generates more electricity than ghana, maybe not sufficient for the whole country, but we will get there. The US generates more electricity than Sweden, but Sweden is probably the better country to live in. |
solomon111: 5 Nigerian banks are in the list of world's best 1000 banks. And so? How has that helped you and your country? |
GeneralJ: U make no sense bro,Uhm... I make great sense. After all, if you were so damn productive and intelligent, Nigeria would be heaven on earth. Instead, common commodities like ELECTRICITY or PIPE WATER or GOOD ROADS we take for granted in Ghana is hard to come by in Nigeria. Why? |
Red-Light:It seems Nigerians are "productive" (not lazy) only when they're NOT in their country. You know, a thief was once asked why he's into bank robbery. His answer was, "I'm attracted to banks because that's where the money is". Is it a coincidence that Nigeria has excelled at banking? Me thinks not. Thieves will always specialize in what can get them rich quicker. |
Red-Light, are you not tired of Google search? |
Rossikk: Disgraceful comment. It's a shame the sort of Africans we have today, who consider their very own color and features to be 'ugly'. I mean, Mr Ironi, you have no idea how monumentally stup.id and ignorant you sound. Thanks, white colonialists, for the great job you did to make the African hate himself so much. (Spit)Check the history of this thread and you'll understand where his comment came from. Fact: Nigerians are petrified of their dark skin and highhandedly developed a market for skin bleaching creams. Fact: Ghanaians are PROUD of their dark skin and boasts about it. The first word a Ghanaian child learns to say or spell is "black". |
PetroDolla: hahahah this is definately not a good time to be a nigerian. the apes are getting their stvpid, criminally-minded arses deported from Malawi, Botwana, south africa, britain, benin, niger, Ghana, US, Togo..... or being attacked everywhere... hahaha the most despised apes ever in the history of mankind.Hahaha... it's really a b1tch to be Nigerian these days. What I truly regret is how the ECOWAS passport resembles a worthless Nigerian piece of sh1t passport which is despised all over the world. Glad I still have my good old USA passport. |
Red-Light:I've always wondered why Nigerian men have names like "Iyana" and "Timaya" etc. Those names sound so girly. |
Off topic: Can girls be named "Timaya" in Nigeria? The name sounds feminine. |
We can all scour the internet for crime stories, even for the most safest country on earth, but the fact remains... Nigeria is one of the most fucckified country to be born in -- aside from Afghanistan. |
We can all scour the internet for crime stories, even from the most safest country on earth, but the fact remains... Nigeria is one of the most fucckified country in the world. |
Red-Light:No. I think you've got it backwards. Honestly. If you're in Naija, just look through your window or go for stroll to verify. |
solomon111: yeah,a million Nigeria investing in that shit-hole called ghana, because the indigenes are lazy fuccks. Why don't you invest your money in YOUR OWN COUNTRY? I mean, you need it more than we do. Oops!.... I forgot, the productive and smart citizens of Nigeria can't figure out how to generate and transmit electricity LOL... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH ![]() |
rick.ross: A-B-S-O-L-U-T-E......... B-U-L-L-S-H-I-T ! ! ! |
Ofonagoro :We are on Nairaland because a million ugly Nigerians are camped out in our small country and we'd like to know why. |
Red-Light:A mess like Nigeria? In your dreams. |
klax: So because Ghana now ban the sale of MTN SIM Card so the heaven should fallSomeone vex, but I know you love Ghana. I'm sure you're even in Ghana right now. ![]() |
Biafra rep: I salute you, Ricky Ross, bro you single handedly destroyed this low life Ghanains. Ghana's mates like Kenya and Cote d ivoire are far ahead of them but instead of looking for ways to catch up with them, they are here comparing themselves with Nigeria! And i ask on what basis? The value of property in Banana island district of Lagos or Maitama in Abuja, is far higher in value than the whole Accra. Most of the big companies are from Nigeria, eg Globacom,GTbank, Zenithbank, Silverbird, Arik air, etc. We give them spiritual aid, suppply them LNG and still give them grant, without getting anything in return. Yet they wont respect us, these people are so ungrateful. It's funny how Nigerians ALWAYS use their 419 banks as Raison d'être. Outside of a handful of West African countries and may be London (to offer money laundering services), where else can one find a GTBank or ilk? "Spiritual aid"?... WTF is that? lol. "LNG"?... Hah? ![]() Arik Air flies from Lagos to Accra 8 times a week. WHY? What's in tiny insignificant Ghana that would bring all you Nigerians over here? Y'all are a bunch of jokers. Just wait until our national coffers fill up with oil money and our banking sector takes off. We'd then boot all your crooked banks out. |
I thought Nigerians don't like foreign investments. I thought every industry in Naija is owned and managed by Nigerians. I thought, well, the giant of Africa, could at least build a decent hospital by herself. What a shocker!..LOL. |
londoner: hmmmm, I wonder how p square will spend their cash......lolLOL! |
Ricky_Ross: Why are you guys too lazy? Its same story in the banking/insurance sector? 90% of Ghana is owned by foreigners including Nigerians and you guys are not worried? ARE U AWARE THAT YOU WILL SOON BECOME SLAVES IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY?I never expected the word "lazy" to be applied to Nigerians by Nigerians: "...America is not heaven, you work for everything you get which is good because a country is built with hard work, not laziness like many youths in Nigeria exhibit. Life is all about choices, if you appreciate hard work, them america is the right place for you, but if you appreciate mediocrity, connections, etc, then Nigeria is a perfect place for you!" https://www.nairaland.com/1120450/common-misconception-america-nigerians. {{ Gasp! }} Well, well, well... It just dawned on me that Nigerians claim to be productive ONLY when they are in another man's country. We can only guess what "productive" really means .Any way, no, Ghanaians are not afraid of foreigners investing in Ghana. Neither are we "lazy" (whatever that means). We are a democracy, just like the US which welcomes ANY individual or company for investments so far as they pay taxes and adhere to laws. We also believe in capitalism. When you are in some European country or US or Dubai and shopping at some nice department store, do you really care who owned the store or the hotel you're lodged in? I don't think so. You'd just be happy there is such an establishment in the first place for you to patronize. How is this "Nigerian ownership" mantra working for you in Nigeria these days? Aren't you now clamoring for foreigners to come and takeover your power distribution? Foreigners built most of your major highways, infrastructure and whatnot, but they are all dilapidated now because Nigeria can't maintain them by itself. |
londoner: You came a-r-s-e kissing Ghanaians here, even through the insults petrodollar heaped on Nigeria and Nigerians...........now you want to play the peacemaker....lolAnd what type of Nigerian are you? A disillusioned one? One who sticks his head into the ground while waving the green-white-green? |
Ricky_Ross: The hotel pic you uploaded is a 3 star hotel, and the pic itself is a computer generated pic, its not a real pic of what the hotel on ground. There is no 5 star hotel in Ghana. You are welcome to click on the reservation link and/or call the hotel directly to make inquiries or find out the truth from them. http://www.moevenpick-hotels.com/en/africa/ghana/accra/hotel-accra/booking/ It's a new hotel so obviously the royal palms are not fully grown but it's REAL. Don't forget that you started this hotel argument with your so-called 5-star IMO DICKCOCK HOTEL which looked so dirty. I'm sure that even average Fiesta Royal (http://www.fiestaroyalehotel.com/website/) is better than that fugly looking thing you call a 5-star: |
Ricky_Ross: NB: WHY DO U LIKE LYING SO MUCH? SOMEWHERE IN YOUR POST YOU SAID GHANA IS EXPORTING FRUITS TO WEST AFRICA? LAST TIME I CHECKED,MOST FRUITS IN GHANA ARE IMPORTED FROM OVERSEAS. CARROT IS IMPORTED FROM TOGO, ONIONS FROM NIGER, CUCUMBER FROM BURKINA FASO ETC. SO WHICH FRUIT ARE YOU EXPORTINGUhmm... the last time I checked those were called vegetables. |
Whenever a Nigerian calls Ghanaians "lazy", they mean Ghanaians are not fast in trying to cheat the system. We are not eager to jump into their criminal ways. We actually take our time to THINK problems through and come up with a workable approach instead taking a shortcut. Nigerians think the whole world is stvpid, and those that are not minded like them are "slow" or "mumu". That's why even the poorest African countries are sick of their guts and deporting Nigerians. This then begs the question -- why are Nigerians moving out of their wonderful country in the first place? The catalyst for Nigeria's downfall was the discovery of oil BEFORE they became adequately educated. They were rich before they could count their money or knew how to spell "money". I recall a Nigerian guy (in the US) who was so keen in buying his dad a new Mercedes Benz S-Class (to be shipped to Nigeria). This wouldn't be extraordinary until you knew he worked a minimum wage job, at a fast food restaurant. Then there was another guy I bumped into whose heroes seemed to be ex-Nigerian armed robbers. He once told us a tale of this particular armed robber who used helicopters, and with accomplices on the ground would snatch cars from Lagos highways. No need to say we "mumu" Ghanaians were like.. "WOW!" |
virgo: Now to your lie about Ghana giving us StarBULLSHIT! Star Beer has ALWAYS been associated with Ghana. We built and own that brand. It's Ghanaian to the core. 1960... 3 years after independence... there's no way Kwame Nkrumah would have introduced a Nigerian beer into Ghana. Who was Nigeria in 1960?? Heck, even the name "STAR" as in "BLACK STAR" screams Ghana all the way. Go sit down for corner dunce! Do you have any other links that proves otherwise apart from what Nigeria Breweries posted on its own website? |
antontech: In terms of stage performance, they are the best i hv seen. They rocked awka 2yrs ago at star trek for more than 1hr.What do you mean by "stage performance"? What's so artistic and entertaining about two ugly Nigerian dudes, with their pants pulled down a la Black American rappers, hoping all over the place like they gotta take a sh!!t?? |
