Crime › Re: 3 Pastors & 1 Herbalist Arrested For Abducting Nigerian Returning From Abroad. by Abugab(m): 10:36am On May 28, 2015
One of the fastest way to win people's trust is being called a pastor, Alfa or ustas.
Nigeria being a religious but immoral nation, people gravitate towards them with no efforts from them for magic as what they do I are no miracles but abracadabra.
Scammers, pedophytes, ritualists, drug dealers, robbers, kidnappers and many more criminals now use these titles to perpetrate their evil acts and many more people keep falling for them on daily basis.
Nigerians have to be careful of who they take or see as their spiritual heads as many of them are wolves in sheep clothing.
Politics › Re: What Cost Jonathan Power In The End by Abugab(m): 6:12pm On May 27, 2015
Can't be more apt. Dude got into govt with subsidy and is leaving with a nation in a state of melieu and fiasco.
I am still looking for the Jonathan trains.
The IPPs commissioned before elections didn't add a single megawatts to national grid.
Is it the 3D images of roads done nationwide?
Education is in tatters
The huge investment in agriculture didn't bear corresponding results
What about the missing $20billion
It was a govt of scam and scammers
A man with a gentle mien but criminally minded
Good riddance to bad rubbish
Politics › Re: Buhari And Mutually Assured Restoration By Ben Murray Bruce by Abugab(m): 11:47am On May 26, 2015
Bevista:
Especially when it's not properly paragraphed. To summarize, though:

Ben Murray Bruce encourages Mutual Assured Restoration (MAR) - A situation where the north & south learn to coexist in peace and harmony, leveraging each other's strengths.

He believes the south needs the north as much as the north needs the South - while the north depends on the south for oil revenue, the south depends on the north for food. He believes nations can survive without oil, but they cannot survive without food and many of our staple foods be it Rice, locally grown wheat, cows on the hoof, tomatoes, peppers onions etc., come from the North.

[I add that - while oil (the south) contributes most to our National revenue, Agriculture (the north) contributes most to our GDP.]

Ben encourages GMB to explore for oil in the Chad Basin, such that the ND won't always have to hold the whole country to ransome with their militant threat anytime they feel begrudged.

In summary, he believes #WeNeedEachOther.
You sure must be a Johnbull.
Well paraphrased.
Kudos
Car Talk › Re: See Ben Bruce's Electric Car That Is Charged With Solar (photo) by Abugab(m): 7:38am On May 26, 2015
soldierdollar:
Dumbo . As a person who studied electrical engineering in one if the renowned universities in Nigeria , let me break it down for you like a pupil in the kindergarten .

The car is an electric car because:

1. It harnesses solar energy using photocells.
2: It converts this energy to direct current (DC)
3. This DC is stored in batteries
4.This DC is used to propel the car and provides the electrical energy needed to power electrical/electronic gadgets in the vehicle .
5. Most of the gadgets and components in a car use direct current . But in few cases where AC ( alternating current) is needeed, an inverter is employed to convert the DC to AC.

Electric cars are cars that use electricity .. Kindergarten definition .
Electricity can be gotten from many sources and solar is one of them . Whether the car's battery are charged by NEPA (which needs a rectifier to convert the current to direct current; the only storable form ) or it's charged by solar ( which is a pure DC and requires no conversion for storage ) , " all Na electric car" .. Don't be confused .because they call it solar car
It is called so because its source of electricity is solar . grin

Weather Na from river , or from ocean or from sea .. Boat no de answer "river boat" but if you call am river boat , e no go reject am

Quoting you .. Solar energy is not a " power source "

Bury your head in shame grin
The challenge I have with u here is your ITK.
Even your petro car and gas fired engine don't they eventually charge and bring power to the engine to spark to life electrically?

What I have always maintained is that we were told it is a car that is charged directly from an electrical power source and not powered through solar. This issue of Ben Bruce has been ongoing and people have been of the opinion that it will be difficult getting power to always charge the battery and solar just came up here.

What do u know about engineering? I laugh in Hebrew...

For all those saying Buhari has been disgraced and feel ashamed as Nigerians, what have you done with your current travails of fuel scarcity, insecurity and no right?
Make una go dey carry headache for person problem. For Metuh, his end cometh as all his stolen money and acquired properties in Dubai will soon be sold by the incoming govt. PDP has a humongous problem to solve at home and they have made Buhari and APC their issues. Sour losers, we shall see how u will all end up.
Politics › Re: PDP Blasts Buhari For 'Embarrassing' Treatment Given To Him By Cameron In London by Abugab(m): 12:42pm On May 25, 2015
Olisa Metuh should go and die.
He is talking about handover prayers and Cameron snubbing Buhari, for how long do they think they can hide under religion and mess up the country? If waiting for Cameron for 30 minutes is his headache, how about Nigerians who have been waiting for over a month for them to resolve the fuel crisis, don't they owe us that responsibility?
This Metuh man is a complete nuisance who has left his pot of poo and be talking about others who have nothing to bother about. Swallowing panadol for another's headache.
Nonsense....

PDP the big scam;

1. Before the elections there were several Power plants commissioned, now I can confirm the reports that they were not working.
2. Gas wahala again, PHCN or whatever they are called said before the strike that it was pipeline vandalization that caused the drop in gas supplies to the various power turbines, so na strike now?
3. All the billions paid to the likes of Gani Adams and co-travelers for pipeline protection, what happened to the money as the case of vandalization has reached all time high?
4. No fuel, no light and huge local and foreign debt on ground, hope all the GEJites are happy now? We are all in the same shit right now and I am sure u guys are most hit as I have got my mind made up since 2011.

Amaechi underestimated his own lack of popularity in Rivers state.

OKKO:
Big trash, meant for dustbin.
He can't prove any of his claims just as he can't stop a democratically elected governor who has his certificate of return from being sworn in.

My problem with APC is deceit, hypocrisy, lies and sabotage. Is APC governors, newly house of assembly elect, new converts and co not guilty of the above.

Is Amechi refuse to hand over to Wike, let GEJ refuse to hand over to GMB.

Jeo Igbokwe you are not a competent court or electoral tribunal so judge not...but if you insist judge under age voting in the North first and NYSC member killed in 2011 secondly!
This is one problem I have with most Nairalanders who sit at the confines of their father or mother's houses (rented or owned) and still being spoonfed with money for their data given to them as pocket money. They have never travelled out of their immediate state or have at most visited three states in Nigeria but feel they have the right to comment gibberish on every post particularly how it affects other Nigerians. There was no election in Rivers state and that is a statement of fact. This is not APC or PDP but truth. People lost their lives for carrying or doing what the fundamental human rights permit them to do. These are people with a future and with responsibilities. Hate the messager if u like but don't hate the message.
Travel and see.....it is part of education

Politics › Re: Breaking: Muazu Resigns As PDP Chairman by Abugab(m): 1:17pm On May 20, 2015
Maybe GEJ taking over as BoT Chairman and getting someone from the South South or South East as Chairman and that will bring PDP to a southern party nay SS/SE. Gradually, they will wind down as I see the SE aligning with the power at the top for their political and economic good thus making PDP be a minority party. Winning local government chairmanship and Councillorships will soon be their political targets.

Stating the direction of his govt and the roundtable to discuss way forward during his term is a great sign GMB has got brains in his skull.
Good step to take and discussing with stakeholders prior to coming into power shows he means well for Nigeria.
Nigerians need to cooperate with the in-coming govt to succeed as the nation is currently in tatters courtesy of PDP govts for the past 16 years.
