Please O! Is there anything wrong to date a friend's ex. The thing is they were in a relationship for a while, the guy was serious about settling down but things didn't really work out cos my friend wanted to take things slow and d guy was bent on getting married soon. So, they eventually broke up and the guy asked me out.
Mind you, I am single, ready and willing to settle. Abeg no b God butter my bread. Now my friend said over her dead body. Help me o, am not getting any younger. The thing is they aren't ever getting back and he seriously wants to settle down. He is a nice person and even after saying No he keeps on coming back. He is pestering me a lot and I kinda like him.

This is not a new tactics it's their normal system.People have been warned several times not to join bus along Lagos/Ibadan expressway.I heard this type of story several times but what surprised me was the Police that cooperated with them.Thank God that the man escaped,what about others who could not escape.The Police must investigate the case.

Shiite Muslims have really suffered in the hands of
Sunni Muslims. Boko haram is against them, ISIS is
against them, Nigerian army is against them. I
don't know why most Muslims are intolerant. Shiite
is the most peaceful sect of Muslims. Just that
Sunni detest most of their rituals and traditions like
honouring the death, cursing Aisha and others. But
then Christianity have many divisions who have
contradicting belief and yet are tolerant of each
other. If I wanted to be a Muslim, I will go for the
Shiite cos they are very peaceful. Boko haram is
Sunni, ISIS - Sunni, all other Islamic militant group
are Sunni too. Because the shiite Muslims are minority doesn't mean they should be wiped out. We should protect our minorities. This is too bad of the Nigerian army.

Fashola says government will ‘settle its debts’ as he visits Egbin power plant


The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola on Friday said the Federal Government will settle the N47 billion debt it owes Egbin Power for energy supplied to the national grid.Fashola disclosed this in Lagos during the inauguration of facilities of Ikeja and Eko Electricity Distribution companies.

He said that government would pay debts owed legally and verifiable.

“I realised that the power sector needs to be sufficiently funded. When I assumed duty, I first checked what the power ministry was owing, but I am happy we did not owe anything.”

“As government, we have to demonstrate clear commitment to encourage other power consumers to pay. Everyone must pay what he or she is owing.”

“We will pay debts that are legally contracted and verifiable. Going forward also, we have said that as government, we must demonstrate the clear necessity for everybody that consumes power to pay for what they consume, and government will start by showing example.”

News broke yesterday that the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has finally tied the knot with his rumoured 18 year old heartthrob, Sa’adatu Barkindo-Musdafa, the daughter of the Lamido of Adamawa, Muhammadu Barkindo-Musdafa. The 18-year old becomes the emir’s fourth wife. She recently completed secondary school and is been enrolled for advanced level studies.

Shortly after the news broke, Nigerians took to Twitter to air their unhappiness that the Emir could marry someone that young. Their reactions are below. Do you think the Emir did something 'wrong'?
