Let's hope .......🤣😁
New Leasehold tenure is now 1000 years for any new build which makes almost samething with freehold

Abeg I need info, what else can I attach to my visa application as a dependant aside marriage certificate and wedding pictures.

My fiance got a healthcare visa and she's leaving by 1st week of March and our wedding is next weekend.

I would be applying as her dependant by April and I'm a little worried because they might say the marriage is young.

Any person with helpful information should please help me
Your courtship that lead to the marriage will suffice as long as you have evidence for 2 years including the married period

Yes it's true. Portugal job seekers doesn't require you get a job but to come on and search for job for 6 months. If you get job you stay back if not you go back your country

KINDLY TREAT AS URGENT.
Hello house,

1. Does UKVI still grant visa to student dependants? I'm presently studying (Sept 2023 intake) and visa will expire next year January but I want my son to join me since I and his mom are already in the UK.
2. IHS will increase on the 6th of Feb this year, is it possible for me to start his visa application and pay both visa and ihs fee even though POF is not ready yet? I have about 3 and half weeks to go and I'm thinking whether I should choose a Biometric date which will be after 30 days POF period.

Any contribution will be appreciated. Thank you.
@dduchess90
If you were already in before January your dependant can join yoi

Thanks. It's a little bit confusing. People are saying it's until you earn £12,750 while to others it's if the annual pay from where you work will greater or equal to the said amount.
The proponeyof the former are saying if I earn £2000 a month, the tax man needs to wait till the 7th month before taxing me while for latter it's straight up from the first month since £2000 for 12 months will be more than £12750 annually. Please which is correct?
Straight up you get taxed if your wages na 2k and then get a tax return at the end of the year

Good day mates,

Please, a friend on student dependant visa has been assured of COS during interview with NHS. However, she has some fears whether she can;

1. Switch to work visa as her husband is due to graduate in September 2024. Some people say it is not possible for her to switch unless the main applicant has finished his M.Sc. Please, after the new immigration law was passed in May 2023 which forbids students from switching while studying. Has anyone holding student dependant visa in the same situation successfully switched or knows someone who has successfully switched?

2. During her visa application as a dependant to a second husband, her first husband denied her consent to include their 2 kids names on the application. The first husband has now agreed for her to take custodian of their kids and new husband accepts that as well. Please, If she applied for work visa as the main applicant before April 2024 when the new law against bringing in dependant will take effect, can she add the kids names even when their names were not in the first application and if she adds the husband's (presently on student visa) can he apply as dependant of the wife after graduation?

PLEASE ADVICE IS NEEDED
Games gets tougher at every stage keep playing your game how you want. Awon gamers dependant

Again, I ask.
You mean if my 10 year old nephew gets a visitor visa to the UK and comes in with his dad. The dad return to Nigeria and leaves the boy with me. 7 years later, when the boy is 17, he can go to ‘regularise’ his status?
Sure. If he can demonstrate 7 years rule by showing his school records and other stuffs that proofs he had lived in the uk for 7 years

You mean a 9 year old can come to UK on a visitor visa to visit me, and not return.

7 years later, I can regularise that child?

Infact, you mean a 10 year old can come on a 1 year dependant visa. Then the 10 year old gets ‘lost’ in the crowd. Then have themselves regularised when they are 17 (7years later)?

Really?
The law is statight forward as long as you are not 18 before your residence in the uk is 7 years you are entitled to regularisation. No Jupiter can send the child out of uk after 7 years as he or she is entitled to private right. Many people had regularised their status this way cos as soon as the child gets regularised the parent use their child's status to regularise.

There isn't a special category for being born here as the kids fall under the immigration status of their parents at the time of birth.

The advantage from being born here is that it can be used to regularise their status after 7 years.
Even if you are not born in the uk, you can regularise a child after living in the uk for 7 years irrespective of the parent's status

See the manipulative power of women at work! The time will come when you would understand and I just pray it would not be too late then.
I am speaking from experience. I wish God could bring back my own Father for just 24 hours, so I could hug him, cry on his shoulders and ask him to forgive me! I wish my Father could arise from his grave, so I could spend some money on him.
It took almost 40 years before I knew the whole truth! Alas, it was too late!!
Sometimes fathers do things coded without informing anyone but mothers. They will let you know who did what. If you check deep down you will discover your father was instrumental to your success. He gave you shelter, security and food, moreso he made you know how to be man by not giving you everything

I don't really blame these guys using iron fist to handle the woman. Sometimes they have over 14 people to attend to and demented patients can be stubborn at times. If it was truly abuse they would have sentenced them to minimum of 5 years.

why don't you check you account. Its possible you split payment into 9 or 10 months. So starting from April 2023, you have paid the council tax for the year, so no more payment till you receive a new bill in April.
It looks like you hit the nail on the head
