1 million naira is equivalent to $10,000 going by my rough estimation.
I think $10,000 can take you to most European countries.
That money will actually cover the entire cost of your japaism.

Guy,
My wife's COS will be ready in December And we plan to travel to the uk together. We plan to submit our application in January or February. We hope to get a response from the embassy same month. Will the new rules of not bring dependent affect us even if we enter after April so far our visa was issued before the effective date.
No as long as yoy got your visa before policy changes your existing application won't be affected even after april. Just like student who got in the uk September 2022 can still bring their dependant by January but those who apply by January won't be able to

No worry, we plenty for this table. The risk of trading makes it impossible to want to share anything with anybody. But please look into the tax thing cos you are meant to pay tax for any income to your account. And the fact it gets credited by Uphold means you are into cryptocurrency.

Sometimes it’s best to pay that extra charge and keep a clean sheet. We don’t know where government will move with the whole crypto taxing thing. You know market is lighting up, the news will still start and they will be back to the matter. You know the UK government are looking for money now, they will explore any option to increase doctors salary. If they can insinuate that immigrants funds the increase, I don’t think crypto will be bad to fund it.
Ok

Today the 5th of December I received my first salary in life as a fresh graduate which I was employed as a school teacher last month.

Do you think I will be able to get marry with this salary by next December?
If it was 13 years ago maybe but this time around its not easy but doable as long as you didn't marry a liability.

I don’t know if it was you or someone else that talked about this people before, but my concern is taxing. So I am against the idea of taxing crypto returns considering the risk level of trading already. I am always careful with any payment that can be linked to crypto source.

I believe HMRC would expect you to pay tax for that money as that money can be classified as “return on investment”. And I believe you are to pay tax on investments/returns. The crazy thing about tax is, you can be ignored for 5years and one day you get a letter that you owe some crazy amount of money. That’s just my fear.

This is a perfect process. But I don’t think the company will think twice to respond to request from tax agents for uk based customers.

You can do it the way you wanted as well if you don't feel comfortable with uphold. Lemonade is good too just trying to reduce charges for you reas9n I suggested uphold. I am a crypto investor myself and my money had been in decentralised wallet not ok exchange cos I am very heavy holder. I just cash out whatever I need to uk account. Nothing will ever make me pay tax on my crypto that no government knows how much emotional torture I go through when my portfolio goes down 60%.

Hi guys,

Please I need help and advice from those who have good knowledge on UK finance and banking system.

So I need to raise some money here in the UK. A little bit large sum of money to use first or second quarter next year.

Now the issue is, the money I will be using is in Crypto and because of my fear of “future tax” and also getting paid by someone who is money trafficking(or trying to disperse illegally gotten money), I am not open to using the UK P2P.

I have heard people talk about buying pounds with naira from Lemonade and I am thinking of exploring this option. So basically my plan is to sell my crypto to (naira) Naija, then buy pounds from lemonade. Don’t think there will be much difference as I will be selling USDT in black market rate for dollar already.

My concern is will this be an issue for/with my bank? I believe the fact that I am getting money deposited from lemonade will reduce the risk and make it easier to explain it’s my money coming from Naija.

Please those with the knowledge help with:

1. Is buying pounds from lemonade smooth and easy?
2. Is there a limit to how much one can buy (daily or weekly).
3. What amount will go smooth to my UK account and frequency to avoid raising banking brows?
4. Do you know of a better way to get money to UK from Naija (Naira)?
5. What’s your general advice?

Please bear in mind I work in security and any form of legal issue will dent my record, hence why I don’t mind putting my money in journey for protection.

Please free legal advice 😁. Help a brother.
Use uphold.com to sell and send your money to your bank account. I've been doing that no issue but not more than 2k at a time and less than 10k per month. Start moving them slowly weekly now till the time you will need it so you won't have need to move bulk that can cause yawa

Legally, you would have to seek consent, from your mortgage provider.........

Can you guess the answer they might render........😁😄

The property is still owned by your lender...... Till you receive your property deed ........😜

And remember, it's called RESIDENTIAL mortgage.......😄
If it's a shared ownership you are permitted to rent out a room from your house as long as you live in that room and not renting everything out.

Does that mean that Crypto trade in the UK doesn't affect international students?

Hello everyone,
Please I need your help. I am bit shaking right now. I am a student in the UK. I was contacted over the weekend for data optimising job for App review for play stores and Apple stores through an agency. There is a form of payment that comes through the website where we review Apps for optimization (Which is just a click and submit review for Apps). The money from the website (in USDT) can be sent to a Crypto wallet (OKX). I had to buy buy USDT 2 times yesterday and today for the work which was £66 spent. The purchase was through P2P by paying directly into the seller bank account and then the seller releasing Crypto(USDT) to me in my OKX account. It all went successfully though. and I have realised £166 within the days together with my £66
But later, I started checking if I am eligible to engage into Crypto as an International student in the UK. I have not sold any Crypto than to buy 2 times(over the weekend. Please I do hope I am not in a mess already as an international student.
Your response will be appreciated.
Thanks
Any side hustle claim nigeria don't use uk and you will be fine. Moreso becareful with that type of job because you ate more likely to be scammed big time

She came with handyman who she paid to do the job for her.
You can make her regret her action. I remember when I was in ireland a polish girl made our landlord sell his house cheap cos he was tormenting her. She reported her house almost got burnt when she forgot food on the cooker and the fire alarm did not sound. Fire service came and told him to renovate the house with modern equipment within one month or sell to the person that will do that. Old man sell the house ooo.

Government will always pay it to serious students as long as you gained admission. You pay back when you start working or own a business generating income

What people don't know is how good this policy is. No lecturer can go on strike again as schools fix their fees and pay their staffs from their IGR while the government gives students loan to study in university of their choice. Just like it is in the Western world.
