These Northerners are getting so cocky. Dem head don dey big so. But let’s always remember, pride goes before a fall. Nothing lasts forever. One day somehow, all of these foolishness will surely end.
Gideon Orkar was right back then to say: We wish to emphasize that this is not just another coup but a well-conceived, planned and executed revolution for the marginalized, oppressed and enslaved peoples of the Middle Belt and the South with a view to freeing ourselves and children yet unborn from eternal slavery and colonisation by a clique of this country.
Our history is replete with numerous and uncontrollable instances of callous and insensitive dominatory repressive intrigues by those who think it is their birthright to dominate till eternity the political and economic privileges of this great country to the exclusion of the people of the Middle Belt and the south.
They have almost succeeded in subjugating the Middle Belt and making them voiceless and now extending same to the south.
How brilliant and visionary. Soon and surely soon there will be another Gideon Orkar who will eventually free the South and MB from the clutches of these demonic forces.
nairavsdollars: Atiku Abubakar: Former Vice-President, PDP Presidential candidate in the 2019 elections
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu: Former Lagos state governor and APC national leader.
Who is more influential among the two and can win the presidential election if the contest comes down to both?
Both are known criminals. But if it comes down to my life depending on choosing between the lesser of the two evils, Tinubu soseyi! Even if he is on death bed. Enough damage done by Fulanis already and I don’t expect Atiku doing much better than the current terrorist in chief.
Nigerian Army: Bokos, have you seen our missing jet? Boko Haram: Ya. We get am. Nigerian Army. Please can we get it back Boko Haram: Ok. Come get am Nigerian Army: Noo. We are afraid Boko Haram: Afraid of wetin? We be friends na Nigerian Army: Take am go South. We need your help
TundeChris: It is time for the southern leaders to bring their loyalty to the people now. Your people FIRST. It is time to fight with policies and with our financial capabilities. Fiscal policies to enrich the producers of the value itself. Our governors have all the powers to make things happen but they want to kiss behinds.
No need to shout.
Don’t tell Hopeless Uzodinma, David Umahi and Obiano that ooo. It’s Fulani ass kissing or their people must die.
2023: Northern Elders Take On Southern Governors, Reject Power Shift Say North will continue to lead Nigeria |
Stop self-help in VAT war to avoid anarchy, ACF warns
No region can solve own problems alone – Lawan
Ahead of the 2023 general election, some elders in the North have said the region will not give up the presidency to the South, insisting that the region will continue to rule Nigeria.
This seems to be a response to the demand by the Southern Governors’ Forum that presidential power must return to the South at the expiry of the eight-year two-term tenure of President Muhamamdu Buhari in 2023, in the spirit of power rotation, equity and fair play.
LEADERSHIP reports that since the return of civil rule in 1999, power has traditional moved between the South and North. Chief Olusegun Obasanjo (South) handed over to the late Umaru Musa Yar’Adua (North), who died in office. Dr Good luck Jonathan (South), who was Yar’Adua’s deputy, took the seat until he yielded it to Muhammadu Buhari (North) after the 2015 general election.
On Thursday, the Southern governors had risen from their meeting in Enugu to repeat their call for the president to revert to the South in 2023, just as they threw their weight behind the collection of VAT by state governments, among other resolutions.
However, the spokesperson of one of the groups in the region, the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, yesterday said the North was not for sale and that Northerners are not second-class citizens of Nigeria, as such the region will not accept to play second fiddle when the region has the population to vie for the top political position and win.
Dr. Baba-Ahmed stated this at the weekend at the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria while delivering the keynote address at the inaugural edition of Maitama Sule Leadership Lecture Series organised by the students wing of the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG).
While urging the students to be proud of who they are as Northerners, he also challenged them not to accept being treated as second-class citizens in their own country.
Speaking about the 2023 general elections and the agitations for power shift to the South, Baba-Ahmed said the heavens will not fall if a northerner is again elected the next president of Nigeria.
He stated further that the North was not for sale and that Northerners will surprise those waiting for them to queue up in 2023 and be given money in exchange for their votes, adding that anyone who does not want a northerner as president should leave the country if one emerges.
NORTH IS MERELY A GEOGRAPHICAL EXPRESSION NOT ROOTED ON ACTUAL FACTS ON GROUND. MIDDLE BELT IS NOT NORTH AND NORTH IS NOT MIDDLE BELT. AS YOU PLAN ON THIS DICTATORSHIP, JUST KNOW THAT SOUTH AND MIDDLE BELT ARE ALIGNED. HOPEFULLY SW LEARNED LESSONS FROM THIS ALLIANCE WITH THE NORTH AND BUHARI.

VAT: What states generated, received in past 8 months
Lagos generated N429. 203 billion; Rivers, N90. 293 billion, while Oyo came third with N64. 646 billion.
However, in the allocation of VAT revenue, Kano came second, displacing Rivers and Oyo from the top places on the table, after Lagos.
Lagos received the sum of N139. 587 billion; Kano which generated N24 . 492 billion received the second highest allocation of N 47. 082 billion, while Rivers was in the third position as it got N 46. 270 billion.
Zamfara stood out as a peculiar state with the least generation of VAT revenue. It was the only state that recorded less than a billion in the eight-month period of review.
The state generated only N598. 133 million, an average of about N75 million per month.
However, it received the sum of N35. 716 billion (about N4.5 billion monthly), placing it at the forth position on the allocation table.
Kaduna which recorded a VAT revenue of N18. 262 billion, came after Zamfara with an allocation of N32. 726 billion, while Kastina which generated N3. 738 billion in the period under review got N31. 539 billion.
An analysis based on the six geo-political zones showed that South West had the highest allocation of N256. 737 billion, particularly because of the huge allocation to Lagos state.

Tissaia: Old fool. The attention seeking drunkard trying to distract his case with EFCC. When EFCC arrest him after his tenure, he will shout witch-hunt. Lagos, Kaduna and Kano contributing more than them, but you will not here them rambling like monkeys. Shege IPOB terrorists brother. Tired of sharing same passport with lowlife criminals.
You better commot Lagos from that ya list, you useless almajiri terrorist and begger. Lagos and Rivers are on the same side on this matter if you actually have been following the case or even took the time to read this post. Can you go back and look at the contributions of the Northern States and the percentages they collect back. As an example Zamfara contributed only #500 million but got back over #25 billion. Thieves. Soon all these robbing the South will end and una go become another Afghanistan or Somalia.
OmoEpe: You guys are actually objects of pity. The worn out stories of £20 passed over to you by your hatred filled older generation is what you are still parroting even after so many accounts have debunked and explain the circumstances
See why reasonable people only see you guys for your COMIC RELIEF VALUES? A people incapable of using their brains devoid of emotions, always stumbling from one stupidity to another yet incapable of self introspection
You said Lagos is owned by the Igbos yet your low IQ doesn't make you realise that CofO is valid for just 99years and the land and property reverts back to the state after that. Wonder why you guys haven't thought about that? You are SUPER DUMB NO CAPS
Comedy is actually a stress reliever and a source of entertainment little wonder comedians make so much money. With idiots like you giving me so much comic relieve why will I want to die? You guys especially on NL are the reason a lot of us come here because like I told you earlier YOUR STUPIDITY IS EXTRAORDINARY EVERYDAY just like Zee World
Continue with the abuses and name calling. That’s all you are good at. There is absolutely no sense in anything you write. This one is no exception.
By the way, if you can’t afford to buy any land in Lagos now except in your slums, is it in that 99 years when we go don buy all of Lagos and neighboring states that you will be able to? Keep hating, we will keep taking over. Ntooor!
I have lectured you enough. Won’t be responding to anymore trash from you.
Former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, has frowned at the way the Federal Government is taking loans. According to the ex-president, borrowing for recurrent expenditure is ‘foolish’.
In a video interview posted on Channel’s Television Facebook page, Obasanjo said that borrowing and accumulating debt for the next generations to come is criminal.
He said, “If you want to build a commercial house and you go and borrow money, and you have 50 per cent of your own money and you borrow 50 per cent and in five years, you pay the 50 per cent that you borrowed. That is a wise thing to do. But if you have to go and borrow money for you to be able to feed yourself and your family, that is a stupid thing to do.
“So, if we are borrowing for recurrent expenditure, it is the height of foolery. If we are borrowing for development that can pay itself, that is understandable; then how long will it pay itself? But we are borrowing and accumulating debt for the next generation and the next generation after them, it is criminal, to put it mildly. What are we borrowing for?
“When I came into government and was elected President, we were spending $3.5bn to service debt, and even with that, our quantum of debt was not going down.”
The administration of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has borrowed a total of N21tn within six years.
Data from the Debt Management Office showed that at the end of March 2021, Nigeria’s public debt hit a total of N33.12tn, which means in the last six years under the President, the country’s debt rose by N21tn.
As of the end of June 2015, one month after the present regime came into power, the country’s debt profile stood at N12.12tn.
It also means that the country’s debt profile has risen by 173.27 per cent within the six-year period.
Nigeria’s total public debt stock includes the debt stock of the Federal Government, the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
However, most of the debts were contracted by the Federal Government.
OmoEpe: It's so easy dealing with igbos, you know why? Just like Zee World their stupidity is extraordinary everyday.
You just confirmed that by your dumb reply and i will take time to educate you inspite of your obvious intellectual deficiencies
Less than 10% of Yoruba elites supported or still support Igboho. Infact no Yoruba oba has ever supported him. In Yoruba land only the Area boys and touts supports him. The bulk of his supporters are IPOB miscreants that wants a criminal like them to succeed so they can join body....
Does that not tell you that you people's IQ ìs only comparable to that of the wests Area boys. Little wonder a dullard like Cownu can lead you. Cownu and igboho have similar IQ but no Yoruba elite will ever regard him but you guys see Dumbo Cownu as your god
Instead of making a fool of yourself online just keep quiet to cover your shallowness
It's uncontestable that the Abokis that you look down on have more emotional maturity than your LORD and MASTER Cownu, no wonder he is about being shipped to Yankari game reserve to generate revenue for the Bauchi State Govt especially in this time of threatened VAT.
IPOB idiots for lack if superior reasons will lock their shops every Monday and head for Yankari game reserve to pay to dash him banana in his cage thereby making Bauchi earn from tourism
Eleribu sombori
You non-entity chest beater. You claim tribal superiority but we own you and we own your land. Think about it. How much of your Lagos does your people own other than the slums? Lagos only belongs to you for mouth.
After your lord and savior Awo (and by the way awo means toad) connived with the North to cause financial ruin on Igbos after the war by paying 20 pounds max to all Igbo account holders, today we control Nigeria’s economy. Buhari already educated you on that. So I don’t want to lecture you any further as you are dumb like a piece of rock and won’t learn regardless. But I still give you credit on the art of name calling and insults. I don’t want to stoop to your level.
So chew on these few pointers for the night. But you might want to visit the lagoon about this time of the night as there won’t be people to stop you from doing what your people are so good at - suicide. Please go now before day breaks. I look forward to hearing the good news by morning. By the way say hi to Pa Awo when you reach there.
chaloskyx: YOU THAT ARE A CORE LAGOSIAN MAY I ASK WHATS YOUR STAKE IN LAGOS WHAT DO YOU ACTUALLY OWN?? YOU WOULD BE THERE SHOUTING LAGOSIAN BUT ARE AS POOR AS A CHURCH RAT ALL YOU CLING ON TO IS PRIDE IN BEING PART OF A NATION OR STATE THAT HAS DONE NOTHING TO IMPROVE YOUR LIFE MUMU
Chei! My brother you don dash am and his fellow loudmouths from SW very hot slap!! There can’t be any comeback on this one, abeg. Well done.
OmoEpe: Typical ways of you nonentities. Insult, abuse and self adulation because you lack the intellectual prowess to logically analyse issues
Sorry I forgot you outsourced your reasoning faculties to the Ape in DSS gulag awaiting transfer to Yankari game reserve to generate revenue for the Bauchi State Govt
Am talking about the idiot of the decade Cownu
And your lookalike brother the dwarf chimp Mr. “Scarface” Sunday Igboho after all the gragra talk him come tear race to Cotonou with a forged Benin Republic passport.
Him for stay na. I thought that with all that juju your people are known for him for disappear as you loud mouths said he is capable of.
As much as I detest Tinubu, I will vote for him over the best Hausa/Fulani man. But wait oo, we no get any younger and more qualified Yoruba man again? How about someone like Akinwunmi Adesina of African Development Bank? Abi una no like am?
OmoEpe: They are too inconsequential to lose sleep over how much more suicide, haba!!!
Their stupidity has turned them into comic reliefs just like the mad man on the street being a source of entertainment, all reasonable people just gets swell time laughing at their idiocy.
At least their nuisance value keeps us laughing in this harsh times
Too inconsequential to you but well respected by people with brains. Even your president who was in SE several days ago reminded Nigerians that the country would cease to exist without a Igbos because of their economic and intellectual prowess.
But I can feel your pain. After you and your folks ran to Hausa/Fulani in 2015 and 2019 just based on the promises of bowls of amala and ewedu soup only to be consigned to dustbin of irrelevance afterwards. See your brother Tinubu suffering in UK from the after effects of Buharism and Osinbajo simply turned to local errand boy. FFK is on cue for his own dose. Now tell me who has become a laughing stock. Certainly not my folks. That’s you and your people for sure. Pele ooo!
seunmsg: Good development and congratulations to Senator Ifeanyi Ararume from Imo state. I guess this is a direct benefit of Hope Uzodinma’s relationship with the president.
Hopefully, the new NNPC will continue on the part of profitability now that it has been fully commercialized. All the moribund refineries should be privatized immediately for more effective usage.
Ararume that is at war with Gov. Hopeless Uzodinma
Brainwashed IPOBIC GOATS. Even with Cownu the Baboon in DSS cage they still don't have sense
Nigeria police should conduct a bombing campaign like in Zamfara
I heard you were the one that tried jumping into the lagoon today rather sadly unsuccessfully. Try tonight after midnight and I am sure you will not be disturbed again. At least that way you can end this your hatred for Igbos once and for all.
Are the police officers Fulanis? If they are not and they have not dirtied their hands by killing innocent people, I say May their souls rest in peace.
Say it ain’t so! Oba Akiolu’s brother jumping into the lagoon. I thought it’s Igbos he wants to jump in. So now una wan drag lagoon jump with Igbos. Ok ooo
