It can only come from the land of the Rising sun.

You guys need to drop this tribal supremacy ideology. It is always irritating.

Troost-Ekong is Efik/Ibibio, Moses Ajala Simon, Joe Aribo, Awoniyi and Aina are all Yoruba. Osimhen and Ighalo are Edo. Ahmed Musa, Sadiq and Zaidu are northerners, etc, yet we no de hear noises from these tribes o.

Ddonoflife:
Summary of the Game
1. Moses Simon is a good winger with pace and good dribble skills, scored a goal but needs to work on his crosses.they are just off
2. Ihenacho was unusually quiet today
3. Awoniyi needs to be clinical in front of goal
4. Joe Aribo handled the midfield well and created good chances
5. Ola Aina played well, although he was usually overlapping exposing the defence and also gave out a silly penalty
6. Ekong played well but made some very erroneous crosses
7. Okoye wasnt that confident at the goal post although there is still room for improvement
8. Omeruo was good at the defence
9. Sanusi was solid at the back
10. Chukwueze was also good today with a goal
11. Ndidi was solid in the midfield

Honourable Mentions
12. Iwobi played well running at the defence and needs to be given more time
13. Musa was unusually quiet with the few minutes he spent on the pitch
14. Sadiq is not fit to be called a striker (my opinion tho),just running aimlessly on the pitch
15. Nwakali needs to be given more game time
Man of the match. : Moses Simon
Congrats Super Eagles for making it to the Round of 16
..

So apt!

Business / Re: Package Delivery Problems: USPS And NIPOST by abulude: 4:53am On Jan 08, 2022
Hello House!

I posted a registered document with tracking number
RR056980105NG to Ontario, Canada via NIPOST from Kano, Nigeria since 23rd September 2021 and I was able to tracked it via www.ship24.com few days later. However, record shows that the parcel arrived Lagos at Outward Office of Exchange on the 5th October 2021 at 12:47pm and departed from Outward Office of Exchange same day at 12:49pm. Since then, the parcel hasn't been delivered after three months. I've made several efforts to know what exactly happened through emails and phone calls to NIPOST all to no avail. I've equally contacted the recipient on several occasions and they haven't seen the parcel either. I even made an effort to track it via Canada Postal Service but was unsuccessful.

I need help, please.

This might sound weird but I'm turned on when I see dead women. I find them attractive. I've masturbated to many dead women in movies and graphic pictures on the internet of random dead women, even here on Nairaland. I need some help. Sex with living women is boring and I lose erection. To sustain erection I have to think of them dead.

I need some advice.

You're actually necrophiliac. I advise you see a psychiatrist in any of the teaching hospitals around you. One good thing is that it is treatable.

Necrophilia is rare disorder, but know that you're not the only person with this condition in the world. Some necrophiliacs only fantasise about the act, without carrying it out but others do carry it out on dead body that are still fresh (especially those that work in mortuaries).

Politics / Re: My Chocha Is Wet — Nigerians Drag FFK’s Ex-wife, Precious Over Comment by abulude: 1:31am On Dec 31, 2021
Gemid94:
Ex-wife of Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, Precious Chikwendu has been dragged on social media by Nigerians who reportedly felt disrespected by her recent comments while inside a swimming pool with a suspected new lover.

Recall the media space was recently agog over comments by Precious, when she said “I am actually a Mami water but Africans take mami water too seriously but it is not”.

Precious in the same video was heard saying “awww water got into my Chocha, my Chocha is wet”. This comment hasn’t gone unnoticed by Nigerians who have expressed their sadness, disgust over the comments with many saying it is an insult to women and motherhood.

Chocha is a street slang to mean female genital.

Leonard Ibekwe @Leoibekwe “ how can she you say such in video u posted to Public? A mother of four? No respect for womanhood and motherhood? Abeg this is disgusting to say the least”.

Linda @LindaOghogho “ I am already ashamed as a woman hearing such thing. Chocha is very common slang for Virginia, even if it is wet you don’t have to say it in public. This girl is shameless. Aswear.”
She also said "I am a good mami but most men don't care if the mami is good or bad. They just see them all as fish and they want to fry them and EAT THEM UP".

Recall vanguard had reported how Precious Chikwendu’s ex-Husband, A former Aviation minister, Chief Fani-Kayode had told a court sitting in Abuja that his ex-wife Precious Chikwendu left his home to “propagate her inordinate sexual affection and denying her children breast feeding in the process.”

Attache, i dont even blame you, you are probably from kwarra

You dont even know your own history but so quick to talk on other people history

You're probably not even from the ife, benin, or oyo that the historical lie is centered on.... So you may just be catching cruise all the way from kwarra state because you think you're Yoruba

Edo the land of the great oba along with ancestors sold Yorubas as slaves and kept the reat for sacrifice in our alters they are European document fact on all of this

The benin controlled the entire lagos point of correction

Oduduwa never existed it was the handwork of sultan bello who invented him and was now documented by Johnson

Benin was coined by the itsekiris who warned the Portuguese not to venture into benin and so they called it land of anger

Ogidomigodo and ogiso were frictional works of eghrevba who sorted wayd to make benin dynasty older

There was never really ogiso what we had was
Ogie and an oba Note benin traditional worship doesn't believe in heavenly beings they believe life begins and end ob earth until the Europeans came with their beliefs and introduced the concept of heavenly beings
That was when the concept of ogiso was born as a folklore in benin ......

Throughout the European visitation and trade in benin names like oromiyan, Oduduwa were never mention untill after amalgamation

Attaching yoruba false history with benin was done for political reasons that era is gone smell the coffee that the Yoruba history is worthless without benin attaching to it

I disagree that the history of Yoruba was falsely attached to the Benin for political relevance by the Whites. Your claims are not only irrational, baseless but also laced with sentiments. I would love you to furnish me with literatures and references to back up your unsubstantiated claims. Why would the Whites favour the Yorubas history over the Benin? What makes the Yorubas so special to them? I hope you know that most historical literature about the Benin and the Yoruba were mostly written before Nigeria independence, some before Nigeria was even formed? The word Ile Ibinu (Land of Anger) later corrupted to Benin is a Yoruba word and was coined by Odede. Likewise, the word Ewomika (my hand has reached it) later corrupted to Eweka is a Yoruba phrase. The royal house of Benin, Oyo, Ile-Ife, etc, are all related by blood. Even the Ibini Royalties never dispute or deny this (except commoners like you). I noticed that many of you that often meddle in Benin/Ife issue are not even from Benin. Being from Edo state doesn't mean you're a Benin.

In ancient times, there are tribes, clans and kins all over Africa some of which are related by blood, marriage or via common ancestral relatedness and cultural similarities. It was the creation of countries and states that divided us as a people. For instance, the Okuns, Ijebus, Ijesha, Aworis, Ibadans, Sarkis, Itsekiris, etc, are all kins. The first people to be called the Yorubas are the Oyos (Katunga). Although in recent times, the word Yoruba is used to refer to people with ancestral link to Ile Ife. The Oyos have a great empire that extended from the bank of River Niger to Ibadan and westward into Dahomey and parts of Togo, just as the Ibini empire extend eastward to parts of Niger Delta. Mind you, the Oyos are great people with an organized system of government just as the Ibinis. So, why would they need the Benin to be called great people? Meanwhile, these two great empires (Oyo and Benin) were founded by the same person Odede (also known as Emperor Oranmiyan) the son of Odu'a, the great king of Ile Ife. Invariably, the royalties of Oyo, Ile-Ife, Ibini, Eko, Ijesha, etc, are kins.

In modern era, the Yorubas are known to be educated, intelligent, exposed and are pace-setters, so why would they need anyone to validate them? Politically, the Yorubas need more of its population, education and expose to be relevant not an attachment with Benin. No matter how much you try, you can't change history. To break your heart, I would like to inform you that the Benins just like the Oyos were great in the past not anymore. I get am before no be property.

'Ofe' will make you invincible (meanwhile you will remain in the same location) while 'Egbe' will teleport you to another location away from an imminent or immediate danger.

The people that have questions to answer are the senior students that are implicated in the crime, the school principal and the hostel supervisor.

The students will definitely be charged for felony assault/battery, conspiracy to commit murder, murder/man slaughter and probably cultism. On the part of the school management, the two crimes the school have probably committed are negligence and a coverup.

Meanwhile, listing the names of staff members is unfair because many of them may be innocent and unaware of what really happened to Sylvester. That I work on a ship doesn't mean I have to sink with it.

Politics / Re: Osinbajo’s Stealth Christianization Agenda By Dr Musbau Akinbode by abulude: 3:29pm On Apr 16, 2021
changeAPC2015:
@ProfOsinbajo, why are you running a surreptitious christianization agenda in the government? Are you the VP of Nigerian Christians or the VP of Nigeria?

Virtually all the appointments you influenced as a VP, and made in acting president capacity, were to RCCG members. From planting RCCG Pastors-in-charge as DG, Budget Office (Ben Akabueze); DG, BPE (Alex Okoh) and Minister of Trade & Investment (2015 - 2019) Okey Enelamah, to appointing MD, Bank of Industry (Kayode Pitan) and Ben Ovwiosu and Akin Akinwale, (both Executive Commissioners, PENCOM), your appointment imprints reek of religious bigotry.

These cited cases are the high profile appointments. There are several other appointments in the middle and lower base of the triangle too numerous to mention which you gave your RCCG brethren. To make matters worse and further reinforce your religious bigotry, during your infamous acting presidency period, you hurriedly fired Waheed Olagunju, a muslim and serving MD, BOI, and replaced him with Kayode Pitan, a Pastor-in-charge at RCCG. Laolu Akande, your spokesman is also a Pastor at RCCG. All the appointments you gave to Yorubas during your acting presidency were to Yoruba Christians. None was given to Yoruba Muslims.

During the FRC Code of Corporate Governance issue, you practically carried the case on your head and influenced the sacking of Obazee (then Executive Secretary, FRC) and subsequent suspension of the implementation of the code because you wanted to protect Pastor Adeboye’s job. Contrariwise, when the Amasa Firdaus-NBA issue happened, mum was the word from you. You suddenly vanished and momentarily ceased to exist in a case of denial of fundamental human right by your oppressive Christian-brethren dominated NBA. Without you and in a case that happened in Abuja—right under your nose—Amasa triumphed at the end. What a shame! Your actions and inactions in the cited cases show where your heart and interest lie. Pathetic

Or what do we make of your wife, Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo, who goes about sharing Christian evangelism materials/souvenirs to attendees at public government/secular events where you, the VP, is invited as a speaker? A lot of nonsense going on in Nigeria. A probable Osinbajo presidency will be a terrible disaster for inter-faith harmony in Nigeria.

Despite the fervent and unceasing prayers of you and your RCCG brethren for Buhari to die abruptly so that you can take over the presidency, Buhari will outlive you, In Sha Allah. By the grace of God, you will never rule Nigeria —both during Buhari’s remaining years of his second term or post 2023— because we cannot allow your Christianization agenda to fully manifest. That will be a disaster.

You cannot rise beyond petty religious parochialism despite your level of education and exposure. Tinubu clearly made a mistake nominating a Pastor like you as Buhari’s running mate in Dec 2014. He should have nominated a liberal Christian and not a fundamentalist and religious bigot. Your vice presidency and acting presidency have both been a disaster for Nigerian muslims in general and Yoruba muslims in particular.

The allegations of your religious bigotry in appointments some years ago by Dr Ismaila Farouq titled “Osinbajo is No Saint, Consolidating for 2019” still ring true.

How ironic that a country where fanatical Christians who mischievously scream Islamization agenda every time and immediately develop hatred and bitterness towards Muslims and the hijab, want a ‘Pastor’ to rule Nigeria? What a paradox! You guys are jokers. Osinbajo, you will never Nigeria, In Sha Allah. The prospect of your presidency is an existential threat to Islam because in Nigeria because you have shown that you are nothing but a crusader-in-suit. Your loyalty is first to your faith before tribe and country. The Muslim Ummah in Nigerian will never allow you manifest your christianization agenda.

This is a wake up call to the Nigerian Muslim Ummah. Eternal vigilance is the price of freedom. Why should the Hijab stir bitterness and hatred in the heart of a Nigerian Christian when the crucifix does not inspire such in the heart of a Nigerian muslim? Enough said!

Dr Musbau Akinbode
Surulere, Lagos

This is clearly the handiwork of some northern oligarchies trying so hard to divide the SW before 2023. They are trying to dent the image of all our major players. Today it's Osinbajo, tomorrow may be Fashola or someone else. The writer obviously used a pseudo name to spread the propaganda.
We Yorubas have to stand together for once.
We have to unity against a common enemy.
