I'm so grateful. Thank you for taking out time to answer all my questions. Cigbojugha: 1. Yes your spouse can apply either immediately or later as long as you have valid proof of legal marriage
2. I am not sure of the exact fee for Dependant maintenance but its on the guidance and its less than what you paid.
3. Since you are already in the UK, you don't need to show yours just that of your spouse
4. It can be in any of the accounts either of the account you mentioned.
5. Any date you picked as return date when booking the flight is the ideal date for you to come back with that booking.
6. Any other thing/document to proof the existing relationship like joint account, pictures, chat/call history, bills in both your names. All these are supporting documents.
Good luck. |

*Hellllloooo everyone.*
I'll be travelling this October for a two years masters programme but will like to know a few things to help me plan my movement.
1. Please I will like to know if I get married in April next year, can my spouse apply for dependent visa *immediately* or is it advisable to wait after a few months b4 my spouse applies?
2. How much does my spouse need to show for maintenance fee in the bank statement?
3. Should this amount also include my own balance maintenance since I will already be in the uk?
4. Will the amount be in my spouse account or mine?
5. I intend booking a return flight becos I will need to come back early next year for my wedding. Will the return flight cover for my ticket back to Nigeria in April for my wedding or the return flight is specifically for me to return back at the end of my two years course?
6. What other supporting documents will my spouse need apart from marriage certificate and maintenance fee?
Many thanks and sorry for the many questions.

158k is alot. You could have find someone you can trust that have Access visa card to pay for priority. Its #126,575 using Access visa card. That's what I was charged. I guess its already too late now that you're the centre. Cigbojugha: I am currently at the center and the person willing to assist is charging 158k for the priority. I am just short of option right now. I wish I can get this done for less. |

Please do we have any other person that did biometric last week with normal application and have gotten visa? Or close to the last stage of getting visa? As this will help me decide whether or not to pay for priority. Thanks guys. Access2017: Can any other person that did their biometric last week without paying for priority confirm if they've received their visa?
I'm asking this because I want to know if there is any need to pay for priority since visa process is kinda fast now.
Thank you! |

Yes I used FCMB to pay my fees in July from my savings account. They use Form A and the exchange rate back then was #481-£1. They charged me #8600 for their service. SyberKate: I can't believe the almighty GTbank just wasted my precious time. After making me wait for long trying to reach my account manager who was not around, I barely managed to finally complete and submit my Form A on Monday, only for them to call me late Tuesday at close of business, telling me "sorry, we can't process your Form A from your savings account, please come to our office and open a current account with us" I was like WTF... didn't you guys know this before telling me to go ahead and fill the form? If that is your policy then fine but the first question they should have asked me was "do you have a current account with us" I would have said NO and simply carried my money to another bank, simple. Now I have to start looking for another bank that will process Form A for me with my savings account at this critical time.
Please who has an idea if Fidelity, Access or FCMB can process Form A from savings account? |

Thank you so much @duchess I just checked up shell and I notice that they pay occupational health nurses about 300k. If asked during my interview, can I give this value or is it ok to say between 350k-500k? Many thanks duchess90: Hello,
Look through Nurses pay at oil and gas companies i.e NLNG, Shell or NNPC
Look at levels in nursing,so for instance a master's will take you from Level A to Level B which is a career growth and what you are aiming for*
Look at how that can allow you lead a team and make a real difference in Nigeria ( even if it may not necessarily be)
Answers in this line make you shine without looking like you are never returning.
Cheers |

Your response was just too harsh. Mind you, I've done my research using google and also asking questions. All I see is a salary scale of 70k to 150k for nurses in both private and government hospitals in Nigeria. Feww private hospitals pay as high as 250k. Of course I wouldn't pay all that millions and tell them that I will be earning that little. Please if you can't give suggestions, just read and pass. It won't cost u anything! Allow those that can give me ideas comment. I mean no disrespect. Thank you! Please for those that care to help me out, if I increase the salary and say, I intend to work as an senior nursing officer in a federal teaching hospital and I expect a pay of like 500k monthly, will they confirm if this salary is true? Many thanks mattfeuter: This is why you take the credibility interview,
I’m sorry but if at this point , you can’t answer these questions above, it just shows lack of effort on your part.
In other words , you’ve made zero or no research.
People might help you on here but you’ll be alone during the interview.
Don’t be lazy. . . . Make your personal research |

Hello everyone
Please I need your suggestions on places and top positions I could possibly say I would work in Nigeria when I complete my course MSc. Adult Nursing.
Secondly, how much do they pay nurses in these places?
I'm certain I will be asked this question, hence I need something convincing. I'm open to any suggestions.
please help a friend.

Congratulations and thanks for sharing. Please I will like to know if your parents are your sponsor and did you give their earnings in naira or pounds? Secondly, what did you say about your future plans? Did you say you intend to come back to Naija or stay back. Thank you Celomomo: Hello everyone,
Thank you to everyone that contributes on this page and we the readers lol.
I just finished my interview at TLS Ikeja.
These are my questions
Asked me;
If I feel fit and well before we start
Can you tell me your name, DOB and nationality
Which school am I going?
Did I consider other schools?
What are the modules of my course?
Have I completed other courses(degree)
What are my future plans
Who's sponsoring me?
How much does he earn
How many dependents does he have?
If I understood the questions?
Asked if I'm still feeling fit and well after the interview.
Then we thanked each other. |

Skymoore1004: January intake is around 16-18 months with the same tuition fee as 12 months September intake @Skymoore Does that mean a two year msc program that starts in January will take 3years? (i.e 18month × 2 = 36months) |

Thank you so much @Mimilyrics mimilyrics: As long as you've got valid leave as a student, yes. Your dependant will only be given the length of time remaining on your visa since his/her application will be dependant on yours.
You can invite your fiance but he has to show evidence of his personal situation in Nigeria i.e employment, income, savings etc. Plus all other requirements for a visit visa and any other information that shows that he isn't gonna overstay his visa. Ps: You inviting him doesn't mean that his application will be automatically approved. |

Pls I have a few questions to gain clarity on this dependent stuff.
Can a single student going for a two years masters program come back to Nigeria in her second year to marry and go abroad with her spouse as a dependent?
Secondly, during her first year, can she invite her fiance over for a short visit?
