My wonder here is why the taking by other means; sniffing, smoking, injection etc of intoxicants seems permissible and in order.
Every now and then one come across a self-acclaimed devote who abhors the drinking of alcohol but cannot do without sniffing souk-away pits, sniffing cocaine, smoking dried feces, smoking marijuana, etc.

Islam prohibits all forms of intoxicants, not just alcohol(khamr). All forms of intoxicants are equal in Islam and thus, the rules prohibiting one affects all others.

Almighty 'might' have the power to do that, since he can look into and, to some extent affect all possible pasts and futures when he opens all his eyes. Remember when Ichibei turned Yhwach into a black ant stepped on him? Yhwach was able to use Almighty to reverse that even though he had already been crushed.

He broke Ichigo's sword in all possible pasts making it unfixable until Tsukishima stabbed Ichigo with his fullbring and created a new past where it existed so Inoue could reverse the damage.

Almighty can't see or influence the past. iirc, it was stated to see only all possible futures and somewhat influence them and also, every power he sees in the future will be rendered ineffective against him. it was why the effect of Ichibei's power on him was nullified, and when he claimed to have broken Zangetsu in the future and it remained broken in the present it means no matter how many times Orihime undo the effect on the sword, it will still remain broken as the cause will still occur in the future.
Having said all that, Almighty has its limitations and inconsistencies. it can't work on someone that can resist precognition or that is stagnant and remain at one point in time and can't/don't have a future, just like Mimihagi, or any character whose time is still or place where time is stationary .
Almighty can't also see through illusions that has been casted before its activation, just like how Aizen used Kyoka Suigetsu to fool him. it means Yhwach's usage of the Almighty is reliant on his perception, so anyone who can manage to alter Yhwach's perception before he activates Almighty will have an edge over him.
it also appears that The Almighty can't nullify raw destructive power because if it did, he would have undid the slash of Ichigo's sword that first killed him and wouldn't have broken the blade if couldn't harm him. we all know Zangetsu doesn't have any special ability except spamming getsuga tensho upandan which is just raw power.
so, any character that can manipulate the reality Yhwach in by making time static and thus, removing all futures that can happen will defeat him, or anyone with enough destructive power to destroy/erase the reality Yhwach's in will also defeat him. because even if he should resurrect, he has nowhere to return to. so he can't make that list as any of the characters there can easily do any of that to put him down and have powers far above what Yhwach can do.

I don't think so. Yhwach is a very OP character and godtier compared to the HST and all other popular shonen genre. His limiting factor is range. I don't think his Almighty can work on an attack or a character that is from a higher plane of existence than he is. the characters up there can affect higher dimensional planes of existence with their powers and also exist there.
Think of it like an all powerful 2D construct trying to harm a human or any 3D object. we all know it's , impossible because a human is qualitatively superior to a 2D construct, no matter how large or powerful it is.

Do you think there is anything at all that predates the universe? If you do, what's it nature, is it a construct(s)(like a multiverse) identical to ours or have its own defined sets of physical laws, constants and logic, or its not a spatial construct but something else entire?
