BigBenoski: u r not alone brotherly, there r millions like you. But, we can change this pathetic trend starting from our children. It should b made compulsary for them 2 speak igbo in d house(english shud be forbiden at home). It worries me each time i travel home 4 xmas, 2 c kids respond 2 u in english. Even questions that require an 'odimma', they'd rather say 'fine' . Most of them understand d language but cant speak it cause they are not made 2 speak it by their parents. If our generation fails to correct this worrisome trend, we might just b heading 2 language extinctionokemmadu iji okwu,o na'ewute m nke ojo na ndi bu ndiigbo bi na_alaigbo anaghi eji asusu igbo akuziri umu ha ihe.imagine an illitrate parents teaching their kids fake language...let them go to school and learn correct english language. |

Btruth: .....but at least we need to ask him ( Jonathan) first if he is ready to die for us (Nigerians). Don't you think so?hmmmm...and you expect him(GEJ)to say yes 'i want to die for nigeria',i just want somthing unbearable to happen so that nigeria will divide.don't you think that some people are holding each other to move forward? |
